  1. It seems to be a very fickle enviroment. I have a few people here who loved the new dress. I also had those ones who had the mixed feelings. I guess I was not ready to have such a shocked response too. I am starting to get excited again. This is a good thing.
  2. I was born and raised in NEPA, now I live in Harrisburg. I make grainless baker pizzas. I also make homemade ones every now and again.
  3. I am the baby in the office. The one that said about the buying of the house is very outspoken. If you saw my other topic a few weeks back about the emailing in the office, she is the one I had been good friends with and we then drifted apart.
  4. Wegmans is the best store possible!!! They aren't changing their labels, they have been doing the gluten free labeling, the G in the orange circle for quite a few years. Hello from Harrisburg!
  5. Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. We were having a celebration after work, we got a new supervisor today and we were saying thanks to one of ours who was the interim supervisor. Anyway back to the wedding, nice pics Geoff! My bridesmaids are wearing lilac. My little flower girl is wearing this dress we bought off Ebay from angelickids. It is...
  6. Thank You, I did purchase it yesterday. I got it on sale too. It was the only one out of 10 that was what I liked. Now I did get spaghetti straps for it, I am not the strapless type.
  7. Thanks you guys, I am starting to feel a bit better. Yesterday my bride side finally kicked it...I got excited, before I was just so overwhelmed about everything. Now I am excited and my maid of honor and I started getting things to make. Here is a link to the dress Open Original Shared Link
  8. I guess the title pretty much says it all. Here's the story. I am getting married at the end of October. I had picked up a dress at a yard sale for a steal, almost a year ago. I liked it when I tried it on there, but when I got home and kept looking at it, it wasn't what I liked. In the spring, I was in Salvation Army, and there was a new with tags Jasmine...
  9. I am not sure if this helps you for shopping, but I know there are lots of Wegmans in NY since it is a NY based store. They are good for gluten free. They have a good sized selection of gluten-free pasta and cookies and such. Plus they label all their brand products which are gluten free with a G in an orange circle.
  10. My vote is for Tinkyada, by far the closest to the real thing I have found.
  11. I have not had any luck with those ones I have bought. I believe Guhlia made her own and had some success. Maybe she will share the recipe.
  12. I am heading to Dillsburg tomorrow to check out some Apricot butterfly cookies. I agree, and grainless baker has helped me to get fatter as well. I am actually trying to get into a routine or diet of some sort to get back to a better weight.
  13. Hi Carole welcome to the board! You will find so much help and support here!!!
  14. I have it marked on my calendar, wouldn't miss Sept 16th for the world!!!! Did you get the butterfly cookies witht he Raspberry or the Peach? I want to try the peach.
  15. You shopped there without me!!!! To think I spent the day at work I can't say they have been out of stuff when I go there. They sell K-too's now, wow. Were you Scranton again?
  16. I used the Wegmans Culinary Stock, it comes in Chicken, Beef, Veggie and Thai. All labeled gluten free.
  17. Woo-Hoo!!!
  18. I have to say I understand exactly where you are coming from. I had dreaded my job for a long time. It just slightly improved and I am a little more at ease. My problem had nothing to do with my boss but more along the lines to do with the other coworkers. I started this job almost 2 years ago, and I am not sure why but I had the hardest time being accepted...
  19. Have a safe trip and enjoy it. I have always wanted to travel to Germany.
  20. Happy Birthday!!!!
  21. Kelly, Just wanted to thank you for what you are doing for us!
  22. Last night I made up a batch of the Gluten Free Pantry Truffle Brownies. I have made them many times before. I let them cool, and then attempted to cut them. They crumbled. even today you cannot pick them up as a whole. I am sharing them with my coworkers, they don't care what shape food is in. I am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. ...
  23. Happy Canada Day! I hope our Canadians enjoy their day!
