  1. I have to say, I never wake up tired so it must not be too bad for me either. I rather be waking up well rested than sleeping all the time which I was practically doing before my dx.
  2. I wake every morning before my alarm too. I also have a harder time getting to sleep anymore. I sometimes take Tylenol PM to help me on work nights. My sleep habits have changed drastically.
  3. It may show a shadow or an irregular area, so you would have to do a CT Scan to clarify what it is they see. Hope this helps. Good Luck! You are in my thoughts.
  4. I have given up my iced tea that I drank every morning, now I am drinking water. I am also at my desk eating Strawberry Corn Flakes. PS-Over the weekend I was doing something and my fiance says did you legs get slimmer?
  5. There is one coming to Harrisburg in Sept. I usually go to the Scranton store, my family lives there. So I actually drive quite a ways to go to one....but so worth it. There is one in downingtown, that isn't too far either.
  6. They are a very good snack. Even John can't keep his hands out of the box.
  7. I wished I lived in Chicago as I would join you.
  8. I was scanning the gluten free list for Wegmans looking for something the other day. It had listed its brand of Strawberry Corn Flakes. I never looked at their organic brands in the Natures Market Place so I was eager to pick up a box to try them. I have been disappointed by other brands of gluten free corn flakes. It was $3 a box and so we bought a box....
  9. Thats the way to do it, there are a lot more celiacs out there than grocery stores know. When you find a place that understands and is willing to help you, that is where you are going to direct your business. Everytime I go to Wegmans they are wonderful for celiac. Now I drive out of my way to get to one.
  10. Lauren is our Outback Spokesperson!!
  11. Thanks Angie, I wanted to purchase that for one of my mom's foster kids so we would have something new to play with next time I see them. I had looked into Floam and was not so sure. I am glad you posted this. Thanks
  12. Ursla I am so glad to hear you are finally getting some answers. You are probably going to feel like a whole new person soon.
  13. Have you tried the Wegmans Tomato and Basil yet..that is very tasty!
  14. I wonder if we could get those on the East Coast
  15. I don't take them, I just never started. I am not for or against them since I don't really have an opinion.
  16. Something I learned, if it says malted drink on the label it is a no-go. I loved wine coolers and sweet drinks since I never liked beer.
  17. I stopped using Ragu the day I walked into a Wegmans and got their pasta sauce with a gluten free label on it and for 1/2 the price. I have not looked back. I even stock up on my favorite flavors so I won't run out and need one in the between times when I am not near a Weggies.
  18. Actually since we last spoke, she has bought another dress. This one looks like lingerie. She says she likes things like this. I was in David's bridal the other night and the first dress she choose is similiar to a bridesmaids dress I saw there. Only she bought her in Macy's. This lingerie dress she said she will wear to church and stuff, It is not appropriate...
  19. Stock up on Tinkayda pasta, which is very good. If you can get your hands on Gluten Free Pantry's Truffle Brownie mix, it is to die for. My coworkers didn't know the difference. Annie's Rice Mac and Cheese is pretty decent.
  20. Hey Everyone, I have not checked in with this thread in a few weeks due to work stuff. I have to say I started eating yogurt every morning and eating a salad at lunch. I started to work out in the evenings. I even lost 3 lbs. It is not much but it is still a start.
  21. This sounds good! Is it spicy at all or a little more on the sweet side?
  22. It is good to see colleges trying to help people with food allergies. Food Allergies have become very common these days.
  23. (((HUGS)))) Paula, I know what you are going through. I have those days, every now and again. It is a grieving process, and the whole ordeal is very emotional. You have to relearn how to live your life again. It is almost like getting a second chance.
  24. Congrats on the wedding countdown!!!! December 21st is my mom's birthday! Can you make your own chocolate candies? I am doing that for my wedding.
