  1. Sounds good!!
  2. I don't think I have that option either. We have Costco and all but not the type of bulk foods she was at. I agree you should ask the store.
  3. Cotton Candy is sugar. I was to our county fair last night and I have a bag in front of me. It says Sugar and and the artificial flavors, and under that it tells the artificial flavors are Red # 1 etc. I eat it all the time and no problems.
  4. The Red Robin next to Hershey Park is good with allergies. The Hotel Hershey denotes gluten free on their menu...a little pricey and not a kid place in my eyes. There is also an Issac's, Holihans, and the Chocolate Avenue Grill in the area which I have ate at with no problems.
  5. I don't blame you one bit for being upset. The Italian place is bad enough but to not have your best friend there, that's not fair. Congrats on the baby though! I would also take Carla's advice and say you are sorry but you are not able to attend.
  6. I didn't have any problems with Mi-del, but once I tried K-too's I thought they were so much better.
  7. GERD also causes that feeling as well. I would get it checked it out though.
  8. Angie, I hope its contractions, maybe it's Anika telling you she wants to meet you early
  9. I have learned the same. BTW Jestgar, I like your avatar, do you work with children?
  10. Sue please do share the chocolate recipe.
  11. Happy Birthday Jenny!!!!
  12. My birthday is rolling around and my coworkers are looking to bake me a cake. It is a tradition in our office that we get a cake and go out to lunch on our birthday's. Usually we buy the cake of the birthday persons choice. For me we are making one. So Susan, my baker has asked me to grab a recipe of my choice. I never baked a gluten-free free cake. I...
  13. That is very sad news, my prayers are with you and the family.
  14. I really liked tarnalberry's idea of taking a day and cooking for yourself. granted your lifestyle is going to need a slight change but once you get into the hang of things you will be back on your old routine. I noticed I am just as active now than I was before I started really getting sick. I am so happy.
  15. I noticed this happened to me when I started to take Allegra last year when we got our long haired cat. Eventually I got used to the cat and didn't need the Allegra anymore and the feeling went away. This past spring my allergies were acting up again so I started the Allegra and a day later there was the funny feelings. For me it was linked to a medication...
  16. Wow!!!! Great News!!
  17. Yesterday we celebrated our new supervisors birthday at the Chocolate Avenue Grill in Downtown Hershey. It is a fairly newer place, only open a few months. They have a place on their menu that says they are accomdating special diets. The salads on the menu were out of this world. I had great service. I ordered a Cirtus Salad which was spinach leaves...
  18. This is very interesting. Please keep us updated.
  19. I used to have a sky blue Wizard of Oz lunch box. Boy did I love that. I did pick up a Wuzzles lunch box at a flea market one day for a quarter. The good old days when cartoons were decent, not like the crap they have out there today.
  20. Donna, You have to be a special person to work with such tiny little miracles. I get so sad when I pass the NICU at work. I have to say those babies are little fighters though. They really overcome the odds. From working in the lab at the hospital here, I know sometimes they stay for months and then move to the PICU until they are able to go home.
  21. It usually depends on what the doctor has written for as in how far it goes. So it will show the entire area around that organ but it the tech is going to concentrate on what the doctor is looking for. Sometimes if they don't see a shadow and you are still experiencing problems they may order additional tests.
  22. Hi Amy, I work in a Hospital and I get a TB test every year, I always test negative.
  23. That's a cool idea Angie.
