  1. yeah, it's hard being this crazy! good thing I work in a art supply store, there are lots of us in there...... and what, pray, is a SPANNER? I wonder what the percentage is of people who say HAMMER, but name a different color?
  2. the color turquoise, and a screwdriver. Seriously. I have ALWAYS known my mind was a little off....but TWO PERCENT? sheesh, not many of us in this warped mindset.
  3. I took ferrous gluconate in 2000 after my appendectomy - was very anemic after surgery (complications and I lost a significant amount of blood). This was what my surgeon recommended. I remember being constipated, but taking a little milk of magnesia (gluten free, I now know!) with the iron helps a little. Of course, this was all before my intestines...
  4. Hi Amy, My night terrors began at age 13 (I'm 45), at which point I let out blood-curdling screams at things I "saw" in my room. It was awful, and lasted into my late thirties (but they were not as frequent). I would see enormous insects, or swarms of insects, spiders lowering from the ceiling......people walking through the room.....or I would awake...
  5. Evil indeed!! You should write them a letter about this very thing. Harrumph! Excellent jokes, everyone! and Ill Mitch - - - OMG - - maybe he'll show up on American Idol......
  6. I never buy chips as am not allowed to have them in the house. Could EASILY eat a whole bag in one sitting. But, I do eat about 1/4 a bag of KC Masterpiece barbecue chips whenever I'm at my mom's (she is under strict instruction to take bag away from me after a certain amount), and have never had a problem.....and this is about the ONLY processed food...
  7. Yeah, I think you have to have at least 500 posts or something? so....get busy Jerry......
  8. A little late to the party here.....interesting stuff. One thing I'm wondering, Hawkfire, and others, is about the health benefits of coconut oil. I have been reading controversial reports about it - the bad reports maintaining that it's definitely not recommended for heart patients:
  9. "I gotta FEVAH, and the only prescription, is more COWBELL" I have seen that clip at least six times and love it every time......am going to now find Christopher Walken (yes I would marry him) on that silly dancing video we all love..... Okay, I might have just a TOUCH of my mojo back.....we will see.......
  10. oh dear gaaaaaaaawd....is THAT such a good idea? Patti....I don't know....I am never very far from Rachelville, sometimes peek in to catch up, but it's been a while.....and how timely, the mention of our friends the bats, today....... I may perhaps just add tiny bits of humour, here and there, like a dusting of bat glitter....
  11. .....or.......bipolar, like me? HI EVERYBODY! I have no idea what's going on here any more......but, skimming this page, did I just read something about purple glittery bats?
  12. DingoGirl

  15. OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How have I not known about pappadums all these years????????? I am so excited, will be heading to the INdian market TOMORROW for more vindaloo (not that hot, really!) and these interesting things!! I am going to tell you all what I do for curried chicken when I am SO SO lazy as to not even be bothered with cooking...
  16. Susan will happily provide the marshmallow recipe when she finds the energy (and the recipe ). Perhaps tomorrow, Susan must eat and tidy up and amuse the dingos and then prepare for new Grey's Anatomy tonight. You are just a nut, woman. But yes, 'tis nice that Jeanna has blown her cover and come out!
  17. I am heading out and don't have much time to write (and haven't read this whole thread), but see what happened here, in my two-day cheating binge last summer (not good!): Open Original Shared Link
  18. OMG - levity in the pork/religion thread - Laura - - I make HOMEMADE marshmallows - to die for, kosher, and quite safe! (oh shoot, there's corn syrup - can't please everybody)
  19. OMG I love Patek's - esp. the Vindaloo curry sauce - been eating it for years and was SO happy to learn it is safe! NIKKI - what are/is poppodums???
  20. oh yes, Susan IS concerned about Jerry! Susan, however, still thinks that Jerry is very manly (see his photo) despite Jerry's line of thinking that gluten intolerance is not manly..... Susan has also let out a snorting guffaw (but Susan is not drinkign wine tonight so no spitting)
  21. ....then, if we take this further.....all Christians should still provide burnt offerings, grain offerings, wave offerings, animal and blood safrifices on the altar, all of it, and our temples/churches should all be built with the specific layouts and materials (lapis, gold, fine linens etc.) of the holy of holies......and if women are menstruating, we must...
  22. thanks Laura......I am a little twisted, always happy to share... Yeah, I am so happy Elisabeth is speaking out! It's so major to have this show up on The View.....surely Oprah can't be far behind?
  23. oh my gaaaaaaaawd - - - the Irack - - - shorting and guffawing here!! jsut sent that to everyone - - my republican friends will be annoyed.....
  24. OMG - speaking as a single 45-year-old woman, I can say that Dr. Green is a MAJOR HOTTIE - - spoke with him in person, he is like an older (and less volatile?) Russel Crowe - - I would TOTALLY date him... oh yeah, he's smart, too. ha ha! I am pleased as punch, thought it was an outstanding segment. And yes, speaking our language, indeed! Loved...
