    low carb PB cookies - we live on these on busy days: 1 C Peanut /butter 3/4 C splenda 1/4 cup sugar 1 egg Mix, roll into balls, press out on cookie sheet, bake 10-12 mins on 375. I mke 4 batches at once. They're easy and portable and delicious!

    I called Garnier today and they list Wheat, Rye, Barley, or Oats on the label (as does Suave). They even offered to send me a list of chemicals that contains any gluten. I was very impressed!

    Your story sounds so much like mine with our son. He had 2 negative biopsies at 15 mos and 3 yrs. He had inconclusive blood work, see below.     I made the Bob's Red Mill Homemade Wonderful Bread Mix and it was really good, plus I can get it at Kroger. My son is really pickyy, but we have found lots of things that are ok for him to eat. We're also noticing that he's trying more foods now that he's been gluten free for a while.

    I too have hypermobile joints and lots of body/joint pain. I went gluten-free in Sept. since I was nursing our celiac dauther and have never felt better.     I am nursing my daughter and she gets soooo sick if I eat gluten. i also read about introducing gluten via breastfeeding is good, so I'm in a catch 22. Please let me know if you find any conclusive articles!

    I have a list from OreIda that lists their regular tater tots as OK (got it last month) and no wheat is mentioned on the ingredietns. Are these ok or not? I hope so since my son loves them! We do their fries a lot too. I also make oven fries with olive oil, onions, and Canadian Steak Sesoning. They are sooooo good!

    I'm also on a quest to deglutenize my medicine cabinet since my kids were just diagnosed. I was a t Sam's yesterday reading lables and the Vaseline Intensive Care lotions they had there had Oat protien so be careful!!!!     Our daughter is a special case. She was born with a heart defect and had surgery at 9 days old. She sufffered with terrible GI issues for months and the doctors couldn't figure out what was going on. I had suggested Celiac and they dismissed me.     My daughter had an NG tube for 5 mos. after birth due to a heart condition, but now has a MicKey Tube. It's not hard to manage and is allowing us to pump enough breast milk into her to keep her healthy until her next surgery in April. she'll 1 year old then. It's been a life-saver for her (seriously).

    My son's IgG was very high (53) and the IgA slightly elevated (21). At first the GI said he didn't have it, but after the genteic test and an extremely successful gluten-free diet trial he now has a diagnosis.     I took about 3 weeks for my 3 year old son and 3 days for my 5 mo. old daughter. From what I understand it varies considerably with the individual.

    I'm sure most of you have heard about the link between Celiac and diabetes. Both our kids have Celiac and my husband is diabetic (Type1). Severe thirst and frequent urination are common sypmtoms of diabetes. I would encourage all of you to get checked.     My son has been gluten-free 4 weeks now. His diarrhea had stopped after 2 weeks, but today it has been bad again.
