  1. Tell me about it. I love Food by George pizza!
  2. Reload the browser page, not restart the computer. Assuming you don't have a Mac (and have a PC), you can just press F5 while at a page that has the photo on it (or hit the reload button in your browser)

    ARCHIVED Books

It's my favorite celiac "lifestyle" book
  4. If you subscribe to a forum, it tells you when new topics are created in that category when you are not on the board. If you subscribe to a thread, it notifies you when new posts are made in that thread when you are not on the board. For both, you can adjust how often the e-mails are sent to you. To track which ones you have subscribed to,...
  5. The Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University proudly announces the Teen Workshop Series. Beginning this spring, the center will hold three seasonal, educational and interactive workshops geared towards teens that are 13-18 years of...

  7. Yes. The celiac board at delphiforums.com has scheduled chats I think Monday & Wednesday nights. How many people show varies, but that's the only live chat I know of.
  8. Yeah-- the bags Carrie mentioned are fine... also sour skittles.
  9. Phenomenal!!!! This is amazing... I love that he's already taking the initiative with those articles. Power/pull + initiative = success.
  10. How long it takes to see a noticeable difference depends. Could be a few days, could be a few months. Yoplait will not hide ingredients, so the wheat wouldn't be hidden under, say, natural flavors. Yoplait is universally gluten-free, unless there is some topping that you can sprinkle on it yourself (i.e. granola in the cap). I don't think they have...
  11. Hi! Welcome to the board. I'm also 15, and I've been on here for what feels like forever (more like 2 1/2 years). I was diagnosed in February 2004, after being sick for a long time, as well. If you've been doing this for six months, you probably don't have many questions, but if you have any or just want to talk, ask away. -celiac3270
  12. I have read the Gluten-Free Bible. While her style of writing may be nice, but the information is pretty rotten. Her attitude towards cc is only slightly better than in her first book, but she still cites removing the innards of a sandwich as a reasonable activity. Her list of gluten-free products is all wrong, including products as Lipitor, Butterball...
  13. Since it will be medically/biologically oriented, you might want to check out Dr. Peter Green's book, Celiac Disease: A Hidden Epidemic. It has great information that's complete, but easy to understand.
  14. Absolutely not a keeper in my opinion. Open Original Shared Link
  15. For the 50 things you can eat now... I didn't have any ask-for-password issues. I did, however, have to specify in which format I wanted to open it. Add .doc to the file name and it might be ok.
  16. Hi! I'm doing well and enjoying my summer (so much that I've been reading, but posting little on the board).
  17. Read this from her page:
  18. I thought some of the newer members might enjoy seeing this. For the last compilation, see page 15, or this link: Open Original Shared Link
  19. I'm surprised that you only have four classes, and that there's no history or social studies class. I agree with you on the language. Based on the number of people who speak it, you will get more "practical application" of the language, but I preferred both French and Latin (which some haters claim is useless) to Spanish. I never took German, or had...

  21. Thank you!!!
  22. And as for the cookies: those just remember form information and login information for you--for example, if your computer remembers your username or password for this forum, so you don't have to log in every time.
  23. You can. Go to my controls. Scroll down and on the side bar there's a heading "subscriptions." Click "view topics." It will have a list of the topics you're subscribing to. Then check the ones you want to change.
