    I didn't develop the headaches until after I went gluten free, but I had all the other same symptoms (for years).     Yeah, it's not like a burning, which I figured heartburn would be. Could be accidental glutening, since I haven't started feeling any better yet (still have all my old symptoms plus new ones!).     I just bought it but haven't tried it yet, but I opened the plain rice milk and it is the best rice milk that I've foiund so far. Rice milk is just so yucky to me, but this brand works.

    unexplainable dizzyness and passing out since age 12, then night sweats/hot flashes/muscle cramps/frequent urination started about age 25, then the frequent D started after birth of my child 2 years ago, so I think the birth is what really kicked it off.

    I just bought the chocolate iced doughnuts (yum!) and the english muffins (haven't tried yet). Now I can't wait to get home and have an english muffin! When you order from Kinnikinnick, doyou order straight from them or some other site? I know they have to be frozen, so I guess that is an issue with shipping?

    Just talked to the dr. and he said to stop taking the levoxyl and come back in 6 weeks for blood tests again. I'm not sure if that's such a good idea, but guess I'll try it and see how I feel.     I recently had some blood tests done since I haven't been feeling any better being gluten-free (I have been on medication for hypothyroid since becoming pregnant 2 years ago and was just dx with celiac in April this year, and have been gluten-free for 4 months now).     Thanks! I actually made muffins and chocolate chip cookies today with the brown rice flour instead of white (since I ran out of white rice flour a few days ago) and they turned out good - the cookies actually taste like my old gluten tollhouse cookies! Can't wait to try making the cake!

    Thanks for sharing - always good to know where I can eat (I used to go there a lot for lunch since I work downtown, but not since going gluten-free). It's hard to find good lunch places downtown that will do gluten-free!

    I was told that mine would be covered 100% (by BCBS of GA) - I met my deductible a LONG TIME AGO Anyway, I just did the genetic test on my daughter with Enterolab since I was dx by blood test and biopsy 3 months ago. Just sent in the claim, so not sure yet if they will really pay (lady on the phone at BCBS said it was covered). We'll see.

So, I jsut ordered the gene test from Enterolab (not the whole panel, since she is asymptomatic).     I want to start taking probiotics (I've been gluten-free for 3 months now and still have nasty BMs at least 6 times per day) but don't know what kind. Any suggestions? I am "mildly allergic" to corn, but other than that I don't have any allergies (other than the gluten, of course)

    Is the coconut milk soup usually safe? Last time I had thai I went over my requirements with the manager to help me pick my main course (he said the panang curry was fine), but we never discussed the soup. It came with the coconut milk soup and I love it so I ate it, and was sick the next day. I'm wondering which it was - the soup or the curry....

    My dining cards say that the curries (penang curry, etc.) are usually gluten-free - just need to make sure they don't use fish sauce that has wheat in it. Supposedly the soy sauce that thai restaurants use do not contain wheat (I found this interesting - Triumph said that Chinese and Japanese soy sauces contain wheat but Thai usually does not).     BC/BS of GA will supposedly cover the tests - I just ordered the gene test so I will let you know if they actually do pay out for it. Have you tried Kimball Labs (in Denver)? They do the gene test and blood panel (home kit) and maybe your insurance would be more willing to pay for theirs? I know you can have it sent to your dr's office and have your dr...
