  1. I'm glad you posted over here Judy. We'll be waiting for your results and long story when you feel up to telling it. Keep us posted on the SIBO to please. Love and hugs.
  2. We didn't submit to insurance but I've read that some will cover part of it.....I think if your deductible is met. The tests are accurate with the IgA immune response, just a matter of what could be causing the problem. In most cases eliminated the offending food will take care of symptoms. Just look at it as another allergy/intolerance type testing...
  3. Happy Birthday to you!!! Hope it was a great one!
  4. It's called the kitchen defender. The system he sells is based on what you need. He would need you to read the water "ingredients" (from the water company) and would recommend the system you would need. We have a 3 stage defender. He also sells whole house systems. Go to the following website to check it out. I've been very pleased with this and the...
  5. Donna, I'm sure you'll do fine. We all, I've decided to cancel getting my amalgams/crowns done this year. I don't want to chance thing with Seth for one and I really need to apply the money to current bills. With prices going crazy, I don't need the added stress of an already far short food budget. Obviously if I need to have a crown done...
  6. Chrissy, I'm so sorry. Everyone who's very ill seems to have had a great problem with doctors who won't listen. Could you look up a good LLMD? Aren't you in California? Maybe Rachel or Donna have doctors in that state. I don't know if you are anywhere near them or not. Maybe you have babs. Lyme or co-infections isn't totally out of...
  7. We are still there. We are doing the diet, but can't afford anything more....at least not much. We have state insurance for low income families but you have to see there people which I don't want to do anymore. We are just keeping it for the 3 boys we are still carrying on insurance and for any emergencies (kinda like car insurance). Don...
  8. Nah, not a weirdo. I like it with apple juice. I'm thinking I should stop taking it though because Seth has two little pinpoints of eczema on his face again (eyebrow area). His big eczema rash befor going gluten free was his forehead and sides of his face. I'm taking so little I can't imagine it would be doing much (only 1/16-1/8 tsp a day)....
  9. Yeah, they keep us home a lot too. We have a gas guzzling van.
  10. Laura was positive for Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever so I think it's being treated like lyme......I think it's part of lyme. Flares are like herxes in a way I think. I'm assuming it's part of the cycle of the critters. Flares are worsening of pain. Am I right guys?
  11. She just had me pull out a pair of culotte type pants that she originally didn't want anymore. They obviously don't bother her too much.
  12. Rachel, This is from 1087. Laura, I assume this means things are progressing if the flares are spacing themselves a little further apart?
  13. So is it possible for rodents to carry lyme. I know they've been blamed for many diseases through the years, but is lyme one of them. How come dog and cat ticks don't usually carry lyme?
  14. Glad you are feeling a bit better now. If it repeats tomorrow morning I think you may very well be able to implicate the fatty acids supplement.
  15. We were using Brita before we purchased a unit that would take care of fluoride as well.
  16. I'm sure you'll do just fine.......that is if you don't figure out a way to get out of it before then.
  17. Is this how we spell it when we think it's a possibility but don't know for sure.
  18. I love it! I make 3 loaves at a time. It does just fine. I've tried making 6 gluten-free loaves but it came to the top almost. Trying to save on the frequency of which I make bread. The whole family is gluten free so we go through a lot of bread.
  19. It's dangerous to take dingo transports to the shop too.
  20. As far as I know you are correct. Brickette's have gluten but the filters for water are coconut.
  21. Some days things are moving pretty quickly over here. Talitha still hurts but she's doing better, ("a little better" she says). I still would like to do that. Just don't know that we'd ever have the extra money.
  22. I ditto Carla, Patti and Bev. Love and hugs coming your way.
  23. UNBELIEVABLE price!!! I hope Tika does well on the antibiotics and that that will be all she needs.
  24. She still hurts. I think she pulled a muscle when she fell.
  25. I don't know anything about Bosch bread machines but I have a Bosch Universal (mixer/blender) and love it.
