  1. Just like Rachel led me into an ice cream binge.
  2. Rachel, I don't know (rinne's post). But is does make sense (your post). Night Julie.
  3. I'm not sure so I'll just throw some things out there. Vanilla in alcohol. Don't know what kind of alcohol. Non-alcohol vanilla, you would need to check on the source of natural flavors if they are in there. I buy non-alcohol vanilla. I'll have to check the brand.....I buy it at Wild Oats. Maltodextrin. I think that is ok. Caramel color. Also...
  4. Turtle, I saw your post ealier (this summer) about this. Was hoping things would get better. Personally, (and this is just my opinion), she should pay for your dress and the others as well. I didn't have a high maintenance wedding because I'm not that way, but I paid for the dresses and the tux rentals. I have also been in a wedding were it wasn...
  5. Ya, I saw your other thread. Sometimes we just gotta do what we want to do......unless it's something dangerous. I was going to add or bad for our health/well being, but then that would negate what I just said.
  6. Julie I hope this doesn't come back to haunt you. Sounds soooooo good. I used to love gouda, havarti, monteray, cheddar. Havarti was always my fav though. We can't cheat. Don't want my allergy getting worse.
  7. Donna, Your appointment sounds fantastic. Could you pm me what he charges for the removal and placing crowns. I called my dentist and the gal there told me he usually shaves the tooth enough. Get some rest and relaxation time. Hope you feel better in a bit.
  8. From what my doctor told me you will want to cut out all intolernace foods for 3 weeks then add them back in one at a time, a week apart. Keep a food journal to note reactions. I'm assuming you had IgG tested, was it something else? If it is IgG you will want to do that....don't know about other tests. If it is IgG then you determine whether the reactions...
  9. Well, the only thing I'm having a problem avoiding on my intolerance list is garlic powder. It is right on the line between no reaction and low, so I'm hoping it won't matter. Had more chocolate today......once that is gone I'm going to have to reconsider having it. Don't need all the sugar, but it sure tastes good.
  10. Susan, Me to. Seth decided to have a rough night so I was up reading until 1, when he finally settled into a deep enough sleep for me to put up the book and reading light. He likes me to read when he goes to sleep, so I usually have to if he totally wakes himself up in the middle of the night.
  11. That's great that you were able to get a buddy for Boudika so quickly.
  12. Susan, We like your contributions whether they be silly or serious. They are NOT filler. I don't have serious intolerances but I love this group and the support everyone offers and I love offering support to everyone here. YOU ARE A PART. Don't put yourself down! And that's an order.
  13. I'm very curious as well. I would think it would have gone up after hell week. No more of that....take the week off next time....I know, easier said than done.
  14. It's never fun going to the dentist IMO. It will be a good thing though, so keep positive thoughts. Why can't you eat beef? Did I miss that? Julie, LOVE your new pic. Thank you. Susan, Your ramblings (as you call them) are you and we love reading whatever you want to contribute. Rachel, Hoping you'll have time to post this...
  15. That undersea restaurant looked cool! Not that any of us could eat there, even if we could afford to go. Purple tomatoes......that may take some getting used to.
  16. That's a tough one. I'm sorry.
  17. Laura, I'm sorry you had to go through that with the inexperienced nurse. Do people think we actually enjoy being pricked? I'm glad your mom was there to help out. Sounds like she's a great person to have at appointments. Overall your appointment sounds productive (and exhausting even for those in good health). Hope you get a good nights...
  18. I'll be interested in how these appointments play out to get you started on the rest of your treatments. HUGS We'll get through this. I'm sorry. Hope you get to the bottom of grumpy and frumpy soon. Donna! Your appointment sounds productive. Looking forward to hearing about your first session with amalgam removal...
  19. Budew, With young children, this forum is my "friend". I have made some good friends here and I'll always cherish that. It is a good place to come and help and learn and ?????.
  20. We'll wait for the update when you're resting and can post, Laura.
  21. Had to chuckle over that. I actually sleep better with my hubby in the other room. He gets up at all hours since he is a driver. If he had set hours it would work much better for me. Also, the little one is in our room and will be until he is between 2-3. What about setting up her bed in a corner of your room for a little bit? I've always had the...
  22. With items that are processed on machinery that also processes other gluten products there is always a risk of cc. Pretty much depends on how sensitive you are. I know some have said with different products that there were times they reacted and times they didn't. Most stuff isn't run on dedicated lines though, just depends on whether you have other...
  23. I don't think it contains gluten. I know that it is used in Vance's dairi free and that is gluten free. Hopefully someone else will jump in here.
