ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
AndreaB replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
That would be fun to see. I'd be curious to see how fast someone could type out ME ME ME! and send it. -
I just hate it when employers are like that. My boss wasn't too nice to me my whole pregnancy. I later figured she was jealous because I was going to be a stay at home mom. She got mad because I didn't want to take a pain reliever for something sleep would fix. Anyway, I forget how far along you are...I'm thinking 1st/2nd trimester. You need your...

ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
AndreaB replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
IF we went out and IF we didn't have other intolerances, we'd jump on it. Maybe Jessica (melannen). I don't think she has other intolerances..... -
I'm so sorry. It's always hard when we lose part of our furry family. How's Boudika doing? I had a cat get out once and never saw her again. My other cat went through a little down time before she bounced back.

Julie.......paging Julie...... Have you noticed whether your angioedema gets worse during certain seasons? It seems to me that my eczema always seems to pick up during the fall and the rest of the year it's not that bad. -
ARCHIVED So Many Newbies Have Joined Us
AndreaB replied to Lisa's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Beverly, Good point. I remember seeing something, probably in my controls, where you can choose whether you see the sigs or not. If someone doesn't like sig's it can be turned off. I like to read through them at times, other times I don't, but they are easy enough to bypass even if you don't turn them off. -

ARCHIVED Shared Enterolab Results With Ped
AndreaB replied to CantEvenEatRice's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
I don't believe enterolab is a scam. There have been people that tested negative (including my husband who has 2 celiac genes). We were at the beginnings of this and I don't believe I would have tested positive through bloodwork, especially since I had been gluten lite (extremely) for 1 1/2 months due to intolerances to gluten and wheat. It was just around... -

That's quite a list! Thanks. -
ARCHIVED Parents Begging Not To Do Biopsy On Dd
AndreaB replied to LauraW's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
That's a tough call. I went through enterolab after I had been gluten lite for 1 1/2 months (had my family tested through them). From what I understand from reading on the board....if she has positive blood work for celiac, she has celiac. I believe they are supposed to run 5 tests though, not 3. Others know much more about this than I do. A biopsy... -
Shai, I'm sorry. I don't have any words of wisdom to add. Just want to offer my support and give you a cyber HUG.

ARCHIVED Corection....i Cheated And Something Really Did Happen!
AndreaB replied to DingoGirl's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
I think I've read it takes a month to get over the damage, but don't quote me. Dangerous grains is in the room and Seth is sleeping. He had such a rough night I don't want to tip toe past him. Your numbers should come back down in that time as well, if not sooner. Glad you are feeling better now my friend. -

Susan, You and Richard but much lightheartedness into our lives. Yes, Rinne, I agree with Donna. Poor you, to have to deal with all that. Especially after your exhausting week. Is there any way that you can just sit back and do the work you normally do and not stress about the rest. Tell the attorney's that you are... -

Julie, Glad you are doing better today. HUGS for you. Did you have a chance to look into bioset stuff. Is it the same as what you had done before, or similar. The whole thing fascinates me. I haven't looked into it much though. Donna, Hope all goes well with your appointment today. I'll be waiting for an update if you feel up to it... -
ARCHIVED Help! Elisa Test Beneficial
AndreaB replied to rez's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Rez, If you are interested in the ELISA IgE/IgG test and live in the N Oregon/S Washington area I can give you my doctors number. He's an allopathic doctor with some holistic leanings. He's branched out into intolerances and mercury toxicity. -
ARCHIVED Help! Elisa Test Beneficial
AndreaB replied to rez's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I had ELISA testing in March, enterolab for the family in May, and ELISA for the rest in September. I wish I had done the ELISA sooner than I did with the family. Enterolab is good and for whatever you test positive for they say to be "free" of for life. Which reminds me, I need to email them. When I talked to Phyllis at enterolab she said that there... -
I don't have any answers either, specifically. I mentioned to my doctor that I've read that the gluten intolerance can mask other intolerances so you dont' discover those until you are gluten free. He didn't disagree with me. That's what I believe is a part of it. I would have a hard time believing it was everything. Maybe certain genes tend toward...

Boy, I really don't know. Have you tried milk or is it just the butter and cheese you miss? What kind of cheese? I'm supposedly intolerant to everything but cheddar but I have a mild allergy on top of that and don't want it to get worse so I don't eat it anymore. I would think the gas would be a sign that your body is protesting though. Maybe just try...

Love your new pic Laura. Donna, Laura is right. It's ok to cry. We all need that once in awhile....sometimes more than that. The important part is to pick yourself back up and continue on. You are seeing doctors who can make a difference in your life and I'm excited for you. I will wait for updates on Monday and Wednedsay. -

ARCHIVED Gluten Intolerent Or Celiac?
AndreaB replied to georgie's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I believe enterolab with work with any foreign country but you have to pay overnight shipping charges back to them. Please check to make sure though. You do not have to be eating gluten for enterolab tests. Open Original Shared Link -

ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
AndreaB replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Rachel, I would think it is the combination of everything this week that has you reacting. If you've been eating the same foods except the almonds. You've been through a lot and major chemicals probably put you in a position that it wouldn't take much to go over the edge in a reaction.
