    My children have responded to the diet. One of them has had negative bloodwork in the past and one has never done the blood tests. We are not going to do the biopsy because, like you said, why put them through that when we know what to do. In our case, a negative biopsy wouldn't change anything.

    I agree that the blood tests don't always show it. One of my daughters was tested 3 or 4 times by the time she was 8 and they were all negative. She continued to complain about her tummy and felt better being gluten free. I finally found Enterolab and she was positive.

    You can definitely have at least a gluten intolerance and C. I had that for years but never connected it to celiac disease. Neither of my daughters had D.

    I have had the opposite effect. I used to crave my coffee in the mornings and now for some reason, I can't even stand the idea. The only explanation I can come up with is that my flavored coffee had gluten in it.

    My fingers are thinner. I always thought I had "fat" fingers but I guess it was just swelling. I used to have dandruff and that went away.
