  2. Isn't that the first thing boys learn when it snows? No Lefty I left work early on Monday and searched the area for signs of violence. Found none, so I've just decided that something scared him and he ran. My window's always open so he can come home if he comes home.
  3. Think about it this way. Your digestive system is technically outside your body (it contacts only things that come in from the outside, and most things that pass through it exit directly to the outside). Things that do enter your body are tiny tiny bits of protein that pass through (mainly) the filtration system of your liver. The problem with gluten...
  4. really? what do they use?
  5. People react differently to different stimuli. Why is one person in bed for a week with a 'cold' virus and one person has only the sniffles? If someone disses my actions, I always wonder if it's because they know they should be doing the same thing but are unwilling to admit it. Why would anyone feel they have the right to judge your actions, unless...
  6. Step two. Ingest martini No Lefters. Lyle is absolutely thrilled with all the mom time
  7. I smile, warn them that I'm annoying, and list the things I can't eat. If they seem like they understand what I'm talking about, I just ask that they check for the unexpected (spices on fries, for example) and ask that they double check my intended order. If they look a little clueless I go into more detail, and give them specifics on what to ask the...
  8. No silliness here. Lefty hasn't been home in two days :(
  9. A lot of people read through old posts, and your info is still valuable.
  10. There may be some other food(s) that you are reacting to. The best thing to do is an elimination diet and a food journal. Start by removing the big allergens - dairy, soy, corn, egg, and see how you feel (and write what you eat and how you feel in a food journal. If you feel better, try adding one of them back (only one at a time) and again note how you...

  12. both, as long as they don't have added flavors (which are probably also fine). For now, read the label - if there are no gluten ingredients, then go for it. Don't worry about 'processed in', but do try to avoid 'shared lines'. Ignore what people say about reacting to one product or another. It could be some other food, as was already said, it could...

  14. bah. all my bras are too small. why does fat come off there first maybe I should see if I have an extra pair of sweat socks in my drawer
  15. I divorce them may be a bit too drastic in your case.......
  16. better to stand out for being vibrant, than to blend into the wall by being a nobody. If you've got the attitude to go with it, be bright.
  17. I eat meat, fish, vegetables, and a little fruit. I add some wild rice mix to soup once in a while (about a cup of rice for a whole pot of soup) and I add beans to chili, but don't eat it every day. It's a rare treat to eat something from a package.
  18. Do you guys ever go to your profile and look at who visite you and onder why they visited you? And yes I jus had an aweso,e margarita
  19. I was gonna ask you if you want to schedule a 'girls only' event when you come back.

  21. You're gonna have to reference these numbers - I've never seen anything like them.
  22. She is beautiful!! I have been thinking about you and hoping for an announcement. Thanks for sharing your news with us.
  23. I would modify this to say that other intolerances are commonly associated with celiac disease. You may very well have a nightshade intolerance, but consider everything you're eating before making any assumptions. Nightshades make up the bulk of my diet, but even a little soy protein takes me out.....
  24. No. Current terminology defines Celiac disease as having a positive antibody and/or positive biopsy. Gluten intolerance is defined (by the community, not necessarily the docs) as negative lab tests, but a positive response to removing gluten from the diet.
