  1. I can't taste the coconut either. I also make fudge with coconut milk and can't taste it.
  2. That's how I do it, coconut milk.
  3. Hey! Turkey is important!
  4. Just looked up a recipe for this - yum!! My guess is that you could freeze it, but not thaw it. Maybe cut it into slices, wrap each slice individually, and serve mostly frozen. It would be more like an ice cream pie....
  5. I'm sure it will be fine. If the x-ray looks like one of those cool cartoon things with the perfect image of a ring in her tummy, be sure to get a copy to taunt her with when she's a teenager.
  6. The other question is, what are you eating more of in place of the gluten? Soy? Corn? Dairy? Your eczema could be related to a different food.
  7. Whatever. I would kill myself if I had so little sense of self-worth that my dress size defined me. Pity her.
  8. Gads. Pouring rain here. My thought process this morning has been: Not riding my bike. OK, 7:05 boat instead of 6:20 7:55 boat do I have to go.....yes, dangitall.
  9. I am so gonna 'minus' you for that!
  10. I'm pretty sure Lubriderm is just chemicals. What's in the ingredient list that makes you think it must have gluten?
  11. :D Tell him he shoulda got out more when he was home.
  12. Got a fresh turkey yesterday at Costco. Going to Mom's for TG so I cooked my turkey today. Boiled the innards to make juice for some rice, but gave the liver to the kitties. I like the flavor of the rest, but the liver texture is just nasty.
  13. I'll 'plus' ya mom!
  14. I have a niece who think s giblets are disgusting so I thought I'd ask around to get other people's opinions. When my sil does thanksgiving our gravy options are gut-free and gluten-free.
  15. Glad this thread is around. TJ's opened up near me and I got a bag of potato chips. Should have been fine, but I got glutened. I was kinda bummed, but at least it was only tater chips. I also got a bag of granola which I haven't tried yet. Planning on taking it to the parents house for TG so's I have something to munch on while making gluten-free food...
  16. And thanks for all the birthday wishes
  17. It's been a fun couple days here. Butch has learned that toilet lids can be up, or down, and I have learned that Butch can jump up to the stove - and likes eggs. I need me some of that veggie-laden pizza. If I dip my french fries in ketchup am I getting two servings?
  18. Some sort of round, baked winter squash.
  19. And my hair is too long. And very staticy. I must look like this at the end of the day
  20. We're here with you Bonnie B. Stay strong.
  21. Send a polite email reminding him that whatever SIL brings for herself needs to be low sodium for Mum. Can you create a lower sodium version of the potatoes? I found this site: Open Original Shared Link talking about cheeses. Maybe you can practice some cheese sauces combining mozzarella, salt free cottage cheese, and some cheddar to see if you can...
  22. Eggs fried in bacon grease on baked potatoes.
  23. Green leafy vegetables.
