    There can be problems with the testing, the lab considered reliable is Igenex, they are in Palo Alto, CA.

    Check out Lyme Disease. The three weeks is standard for an initial tick bite but it is disputed as not being long enough, I am not going the antibiotic route myself as I was bitten several years ago but I have read that in 70% of cases that takes care of it.
