  1. I'm sorry to hear you are feeling nauseated, believe me I know, I've been nauseaus for about a year now. I find keeping a journal can be helpful in tracking my reactions. Have you tried that? Are you eating dairy? A friend who just had a baby has developed an intolerance to dairy, in fact the baby is about three months old now. She has a rash as the...
  2. Andrea, I hope everything goes well for Mitch tomorrow. Rachel, I'll be going in the middle of October for one week which includes a six hour lecture to all his patients on the last day. He was a conventionally trained Doctor until 10 years ago when he took the alternative route and studied aruvydic (spelling?) medicine and acupuncture. He operates...
  3. Thanks for sharing your story Spunky, great to know that persistence pays off.
  4. It is good news and I am grateful that although we certainly don't have much we have enough for me to do this and my sweetie is very supportive.
  5. That is wonderful news, thank you for sharing, it is great to know that people do heal.
  6. Hello all. It is so quiet around here, how are you Rachel? I spoke with a doctor yesterday who is going to test me for heavy metals, hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, Celiac and Lyme and a whole lot of other stuff. I had emailed him a letter detailing my symptoms that he read before we talked. He thinks it is quite likely I have Lyme...
  7. LOL Thank you Scott, this site has been a life saver for me and that might even be a literal statement.
  8. Rinne means wheel or circle and I feel like that describes my feeling of participating in a forum.
  9. Regardless of what the tests say or don't if you are having a reaction to pasta like that it seems clear your body is saying, "NO". Trust your gut. I'm sorry to hear you are feeling so rotten and hope you can get some answers and relief soon.
  10. The way I feel these days is that my energy is so precious to me that I must decide carefully what I will do with it and as a result, I find I can no longer defend my position nor can attack another's. Chelsea, it has been a delight reading your posts, thank you for them. I wish you well in whatever you endeavor. Blessings
  11. I was just driving by this wacky neighbourhood and thought I'd stop in and say hello. You women are too funny.
  12. Happy Birthday Andrea, I hope you have had a lovely day and a fun evening with your family dinner tomorrow night. Hugs.
  13. Ursula, I am sorry to hear that your daily life is made harder by the lack of support from those you love. A long holiday with your sister sounds like a wonderful plan, you will have a chance to really take care of yourself and return to them renewed and perhaps strong enough to say NO to the kind of abuse you suffer. When my niece was eight years old...
  14. Yesterday I learned that my two friends in Colorado with Lyme were not diagnosed through tests but through a lab technician actually looking at the slide and seeing the spirochetes in the blood. I also found a site with how to see the spirochetes with a microscope, apparently it is possible although I suppose it depends on whether they are active. It is...
  15. Sounds delicious and I just bought some cilantro, thanks Julie.
  16. Me too Julie, I love cilantro and often eat it with rice but would love to try your recipe. Thanks for the Joseph P. Burrascano tip, I'm off to check out his web site.
  17. Thank you Fiddle-Faddle and Robbin you have each so eloquently expressed what I am feeling that I have nothing to add to it except Tailz please come visit Daily Strength if you are reading this.

    ARCHIVED Nausea

I have been nauseaus for a year now and gluten free since the beginning of May, I am no longer convinced that my nausea is solely related to gluten intolerance. I am still looking for answers.

    ARCHIVED "the Trigger"

Add me to the Mono list. I had it at seventeen and digestive issues were more apparent after that when it came to gluten. What is mono and doesn't it seem strange that so many of us caught a disease and we are identifying it as the trigger, what if it is the cause?
  20. I know Ursula, over and over again I have seen you being very compassionate but what happened with the banning doesn't feel compassionate at all. Was the person who was abusive banned? And as someone else said, "what if she is right?" What if the lack of a true diagnosis keeps some of us sick forever? Okay, I think I have said enough, Tailz...
  21. As I said, I too had had problems logging on for a while and because she had emailed me with this I was not under the impression that she was deceitful. Also it was immediately apparent from her posting style that she was Tailz I thought but again I was unaware that others had not been informed. As to emailing Scott, I couldn't possibly speak for Tailz...
  22. This does not feel like a good situation, I am sorry to hear that she was banned, is it temporary or permanent or how does that work around here? I really appreciate this board and that the focus of this board is Celiac disease yet because there are some us of who continue to be ill even though we go gluten free naturally we are going to continue to...
  23. Rachel, my friend was very ill for at least a year with what she believed was Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It was only that she kept being drawn to the Lyme board that resulted in her being tested. She believes she was bitten as a child and she is now 67. There are many Lyme people who feel that they have been infected for many years. I think there is...
  24. Rachel I am glad you didn't take it that way. I came across an amazing site today "www.lyme-diagnosis.org.uk", it gives directions for examining blood to see the spirochetes. There is a video attached that shows the spirochetes. It seems that blood tests are done by computerized equipment these days and they are programmed to see certain things and...
  25. A warning along with a little scientificness. A friend recommended a French Green clay, it supports detoxing by binding the toxins and moving them through the intestinal tract. I went looking for it and could only find a product called bentonite at the health food store, the package says Hydrated Healing Clay, so I bought it but since I am slowly getting...
