I have celiac disease, so traditional stuffing, dinner rolls, and pumpkin pie ... Minimalist Baker also has a vegan and gluten-free pumpkin pie recipe.

Well timed Pep talk Admin.

I am trying to accommodate all my intolerances this year to make dinner. Last year  I will admit I was so ill, I didn't bother doing a holiday dinner. My spouse (bless him) handled creating a small safe meal in 2016 as I sulked in the corner miserable as T-Day was my favorite holiday. :) I was still eating blender foods back in Nov 2016 post gluten challenge, so I sulked, pitied myself, and felt very far from holiday spirit and quite honest was not very thankful despite some long overdue medical clarity.

Ahh so here we are 2017,  I can have potato's again, thank goodness my daughter wants garlic mash.  They are back on the menu! Now I just have to try to convert my pumpkin ice cream pie to coconut milk style ice cream vs cow milk ice cream and master gluten-free crusts. Fingers crossed.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and if you are in the Celiac newly diagnosed pit the sun will rise again -stay with us. ;)

I just do a variety of gluten free foods.  Many because someone doesn't like cheese on his potatoes or someone won't eat something else.   I figure they won't starve if all they like is the turkey and the canned cranberry or the sweet potatoes and the apple sauce.  :D

I posted a grain free gram crust option awhile back, I just made a vegan pumpkin pie today in it with full fat coconut milk, seems to have set up good. I made it for my church since the carbs are no for me.

I'll look for the crust in the recipe section. So it set well good then hopefully I can pull it off however I'll humbly admit I'm no chef like you . So let's hope for my best ?

So I purchased the Life Extension Benfotiamine with Thiamine along with the Thiamax. I will take along with my Super B Complexes. I stopped taking the multi vitamins. Should I take all 3 vitamins/supplements together with my morning oatmeal breakfast? Do you think I will experience any bad symptoms when taking them.

Of all the countries I have visited in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, I have found eating out in Ireland to be the safest for celiacs. Most restaurants have all allergens (up to 14 different ones) identified on their menus, including wheat and gluten. I have found staff at restaurants to be very knowledgeable regarding gluten and cross-contamination compared to most other countries. Restaurant staff (including management) in Ireland even tried dissuading me from eating some items labeled 'gluten-free' on the menu, fearing that there could be risk of minuscule cross-contamination. Many of the hotels have fresh baked gluten-free breads, pastries, and cakes at their breakfast buffet, something unheard of in most U.S hotels. These are clearly labeled and well separated from gluten-containing items. There are also quite a few gluten-free desserts to satisfy one's sweet tooth.  With everything said and done, the meats and dairy products are simply delicious and worth trying. Overall, I would give dining out in Ireland five stars for celiac safety and quality.

No, I meant two years ago when you had your most recent upper GI scope.
