Blood tests

Hi I've just been asked to go for blood tests on Thursday, at a local phlebotomy clinic.

I had an endoscopy done 6 weeks ago, biopsies taken (no results yet).

Last had bloods done 6 mths ago and was then referred for endoscopy and colonoscopy. 

Wondering why I have to get bloods done, when still waiting for biopsy results?

Welcome to the forum. Do you have access to your original blood tests? If so, it would be very helpful if you could share those results here. 

I would have to assume that you had a positive blood test result for celiac disease 6 months ago, which triggered the scheduled endoscopy. Why they would want you to do another blood tests seems odd, but perhaps your results indicate a borderline positive case and they want to check your antibody levels again.

Have you been eating gluten daily before all tests? Going gluten-free too soon can cause false negative test results.

You should also try to get your endoscopy results as well.
