My Dad taught me a great trick to copyright my work. You know I just realized I spelled that wrong! Oh well, I know now! Dad said a great way to copyright something officially is take the original copy and mail it to yourself, then do not open the envelope. I also know a notary public.

I'd always heard just mailing a copy to yourself is proof enough. It's about the date on the postmark, that the work existed by a given date.

Dear tom,

I always date my artwork anyway. I also put the day. I do not know if anyone else does that or not. I would think that would be proof enough. They could argue that I did not put it there, though until later. I need definite proof in case they try to steal it.

Dear Lisa,

I have heart palpitations, too. It is probably from my Thyroid. I am getting all of the symptoms of a hyper one again.

The blood tests were negative for it. My doctor did not do the TSH, though. She only did the T3 and T4 hormones. TSH is the one it showed up in before.

Sincerely,

Jin

Ok Lisa- natural calm for me was a big no no I have a bottle of it haven't touched it in a year it completly f**ed up my system-

Dont know what Natural Calm is....but I'm quite sure I wont be taking it...EVER. :P

Theres hardly anything that I take w/out totally scrutinizing the ingredients and having it tested at BioSET or ART. I'm soooo afraid to just take random things.

Rachel I think oxy powder only comes in fomr one place Oxygen research. But I worte this too you before

Oh yeah!! You did tell me that. <insert head pounding emoticon here>

Well...I guess its no big shocker that my oxypowder is from Oxygen Research.

Yeah....I could NEVER take the recmmended dose.

I actually cant take the recommended dose on any of the supplements. Anna or Dr. Amy tells how much I can take of each thing....its usually not alot.

She wrote that she wants me to take 2 each night. I started with one tonight...I'll work my way up to 2 and see how it goes.

Sorry you're still not feeling good....I'm looking forward to your update when you feel up to it. :)

Freddie Mercury was the singer for a little English group called Queen. Many will say their top song was "Bohemian Rhapsody", but those fans are neither true Queen fans nor in any way knowledgeable about 70s rock.

Their biggest impact song by far was a medley of sorts - "We Are The Champions/We Will Rock You". It's 30 yrs old this yr and is still played in sports stadiums nationwide and perhaps in lands beyond. I'd certainly expect their own U.K..

And not just by the stadium personnel.

When the fans stomp & clap to make that

Bomp Bomp boom!

Bomp Bomp boom!

THAT is the beginning of "We Will Rock You".

The guitarist, Brian May, could easily viciously rip w/ the best of the era & shouldn't be left out of any all-time-great rock guitar lists.

They excelled at enough different styles, you'd think "that can't REALLY all be the same 4 guys, can it?"

The operatic "Bohemian Rhapsody",

"Another One Bites the Dust", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", "Under Pressure" (w/ David Bowie), vaudevillian "Killer Queen", brilliant softer pop-rock "You're My Best Friend", and so many that never became hits.

Oops - does that count as carried away?

Hehe Rachel - sorry ya asked?

Thanks for the details Tom. :)

I actually know all those songs, definately know the stomp and clap at the sporting events. Definately heard of Queen...but would not really know that all of those songs were sung by Queen.

So yeah...I have a gazllion C.D.'s...but not a single one from Queen....hence being totally lost on the Freddie Mercury Spice stuff.

I just went to her webpage to try and figure it out. I thought the gal said cold something or other. The do a cold laser, but I don't know why Talitha would need something like that.

Yeah...thats laser detox...similar to LED. Dr. Amy's partner does that type of treatment....which is why Amy is testing to see if I'll benefit from it. She may want me to go up there and see her but we're waiting on some other things closer to home first.

Different practitioners do different types of treatments. Amy doesnt do laser treatment but her partner does. If you are going there to find out if she's mercury toxic...and it turns out she is....theres different methods of treatment so I'm not sure what route you'll go with...if any.

If I do any laser treatments...it would likely be her or someone in my area doing it. If I do DMPS or DMSA....it would likely be Dr. S who oversees those treatments. Amy would ART test me for those things to see if they'd work for me or not....so we would know ahead of time.

I'm pretty sure she's already tested me for DMPS and other chelators but its not the right time for me to do these. I wont benefit from those those treatments right now....so shes putting me on the things that will have some benefit right now.

Things constantly change with ART....especially when you start making progress...the body starts requiring different things. Some stuff that once worked may not work anymore....the body might accept things that it previously did not accept.

Thats what ART is about...its about guiding you toward "wellness" by making you aware of what areas need to be addressed and how to go about it without making alot of "mistakes" along the way.

Its not really like you just do it once and get a diagnosis and they treat you for the problem and thats it. Its more of a "whole body" thing and its more longterm.

Anyone can learn ART....traditional Dr.'s can learn it, dentists, chiropracters, acupuncturists, alternative Dr.'s, etc....obviously they will all have very different methods of treatment....based on whatever their specialty is. ART pretty much guides them in the right direction but the treatments will vary widely....according to the type of Dr.

If you plan on treating T for anything that might show up....you may have to see more than one Dr....depending on how you'd want to proceed.

I'm thinking most of the people going for ART or these type treatments are pretty sick. T is healthy for the most part so I'm not sure how they would proceed with someone who's not so sick. Maybe they'll just put her on some supplements to help her detox and thats it.

It'll be interesting to see how things go. I'm only used to Amy and Scott and since he learned from her...they basically go about things in the same way. Maybe I'll ask Scott about Elizabeth...and get his opinion...I wonder if she's very similar to what I'm used to or if she goes about things totally different??

LOL ya no kiddin'!

I have a nephew who was conceived in a yurt!! They even CALLED him Yurtle for awhile and got a license plate of same!

LOL.....thats pretty funny! I didnt really know what a yurt was until about 100 pages ago.

We all liked them....decided we would have some in Rachelville. I wanted mine by the beach. :D

I have been working and reworking the budget all day. I've got ART scheduled in every three months......anything else necessary will put us in a bit of a bind but we'll figure it out somehow. Just means we'll have to continue scrimping on our food budget. We are still quite a bit down from the figure Mitch told me for a 4 person family.

Since we aren't real sick I wouldn't expect to have to have a long term treatment program. I told the gal we weren't real sick, they see all kinds of people.

Elizabeth is one of two certified ART instructors and she teaches seminars for Dr. Klinghardt if needed. She and Amy have worked extensively with Dr. Klinghardt.

Hey....did anyone else here get a pm from Ron Hoggan...the guy that co-wrote Dangerous Grains??

I dont think he read the thread cuz he was suggesting ELISA testing for my ongoing food problems....told me I have leaky gut. :P

Ya it really struck me how different so many of the hits were. It's as if someone w/ a blank slate could very easily be convinced each was by a diff one-hit-wonder!

And omg I'm glad u didn't mind I wrote so much. Right after I posted I thought "what if all Rachel wanted was 'singer. Queen.' and everyone else was like wth - he thinks we never heard of QUEEN??"

And back to the doghouse for me. :(

But I enjoyed whippin' it out and it even brought back some good memories.

Yeah...for me ART isnt all that expensive but the various treatments do add up over time.

I wouldnt think T would need extensive or longterm treatment since shes not sick.

I'm pretty sure heavy metals would show up because of your history....dont know about anything else though. It'll be interesting to see. I have no doubt the results will be reliable....mostly curious as to what type of treatment would work best for her.

Elizabeth is one of two certified ART instructors and she teaches seminars for Dr. Klinghardt if needed. She and Amy have worked extensively with Dr. Klinghardt.

Yeah....anyone whos worked with Dr. Klinghart would be a good choice in my opinion. :)

I was just responding to your question about the laser detox. I think thats something that Elizabeth has had training in and practices....whereas Amy doesnt...and for now doesnt plan to. Thats why if I cant find anyone here who is good...I might go up there to see her.

I think they probably each have something different to bring to the table...so they probably compliment each other by working in the same clinic. :)

Yeah...Ron Hoggan pm'd me.

I guess he has another book called "Smarten Up"....he's also the Editor of Scott's "Scott-Free Newsletter". I didnt know that. :)

This is true.

I dont think he's had time to read the thread yet...says he just joined the board tonight......but yeah...after 1200 + pages I would certainly hope I'd learned about leaky gut, elimination diets and other food intolerances by now. :P

Plus I did read Dangerous Grains. Its actually my favorite book out of about 5 different books having to do with gluten intolerance/Celiac that I've read. :)

I don't think we'll need extensive treatments either, any of us. Metals and intolerances (which could have been brought on by metals) are my guess. Don't know about candida.

How long her treatment takes will determine whether Seth or I start after Talitha. Somehow I don't see Seth sitting (or lying) still for 1 1/2 hours.

I saw 25 ealier.

Mitch should be on his way home from the graduation by now. It was supposed to be over around 9 and I don't know how long he yakked afterwards.

There was a mix up with how many tickets were available. We were told only 2 so both of the older 2 stayed home because it wasn't fair for one to go. Found out about 15 minutes after Mitch had left that they actually had 2 extra. Oh well......

Hey Rachel

What you think about oil of oregano. I feel like my Yeast is out of control now. I feel like going diarrhea but nothing comes out. By the way I want to start ART too. Do I have to wait a long time. I'm scarred to take anything now because of these reactions. I still have 6 teeth left to go.

Does Castor oil packs mobilize the mercury? If not too nosy how much is ART? If you don't want you don't have to answer just curious.

I dont know whether or not oil of oregano will be helpful to you. You react to alot of things so I cant even begin to guess as to what you'll feel like taking oil of oregano. I know that for me it didnt help but made things worse. I dont really do well with alot of herbal supplements.

I wouldnt add in a bunch of different things because you're gonna react to some of them and you're not going to know which ones are causing reactions.

I would do like an elimination diet.....let your body rest and then add stuff in one at a time so you can see how your body responds.....write it all down. Thats pretty much how I did it....it gave me a pretty good idea of what things to avoid. When I just tried taking random things at all different times I had no clue what was making me feel bad.

.

I can pm you whatever you want to know about my ART treatments/cost/etc. I'm sure the cost varies depending on the practitioner. I only do it once every 3 months because my Dr. isnt from this area....only comes here 4 times a year.

I dont know of any other Dr.'s around here (or in your area) doing ART...Scott might know of other practitioners. He'd be a better person to ask.

Heres some of the things castor oil packs can help with...

Increase Eliminations

Stimulate Liver

Dissolve & remove Lesions

Dissolve & Remove Adhesions

Relieve Pain

Release Colon Impaction

Increase Nervous System Coordination

Stimulate Gall Bladder

Reduce Toxemia

Increase Lymphatic Circulation

Improve Gastro-Intestinal Assimilation

Balance Elimination

Reduce Inflammation

Increase Relaxation

Reduce Flatulence

Dissolve & Remove Lacteal Duct Adhesions

Reduce Nausea

Dissolve Gallstones

Stimulate Lacteal Duct Circulation

Reduce Swelling

Stimulate Cecum

Improve Liver-Kidney Coordination

Stimulate Organs & Glands

Draw Out Acids

Draw Out Vaginal Fistulas Discharge

RelieveHeadaches

Stimulate Perstalsis

Improve Perspiration/Respiration Coord

Increase Skin Circulation(blood & Lymph)

Dissolve & Remove Tumors

Lisa...if you can tolerate them....the castor oil packs might be very beneficial for you. I know miamia does them pretty often. Its an inexpensive and easy way to try to unload some toxins and reduce some inflammation and pain that you're having.

Rachel--24 Collaborator

Lisa,

How many amalgams did you have?? For some reason I thought you had 7....I guess I was wrong because you say you have 6 left?? Did you start with 9??

Oh...I dont take any herbals for Candida. I just dont do well with any of those...I've tried a few different things in the past. I stick with Nystatin and so far I'm ok with that. Its prescription antifungal. Maybe you can ask your Dr. about it??

Yeah I ask my doctor and she said the yeast will just grow back and worse from the holes or something in your intestine. I am happy I am switching doctor and I pray this one is better. You are not suppose to take the castor oil pack everynight right?

I though the doctor at first said I had 7 but I had 10. So they took 4 off and I have 6 to go. They used this machine at the dentist for positive and negative numbers. He was reading zero, zero, negative two. What does that mean. He was rubbing my teeth with this metal thing.

Theres a certain order that they should be removed in....thats probably what they were determining with the machine. Its an important part of the removal process.

I didnt realize you had to go through 10 removals.

I only had 4. The first two were removed improperly (by a regular dentist)...no precautions to ensure my safety and no mention of the importance in detox.

I absorbed all the vapors and particles when that dentrist drilled those fillings out on the same day.

This is when I started getting sick...right after the removals.

Once I realized I was poisoned...I went to a biological dentist to get the remaining 2 fillings taken out. He took them out safely.

Heres some info about the machine they used to determine the correct sequence to remove the fillings..

He/she will also take electrical readings on your fillings and crowns in order to determine the sequential order in which the restorations should be replaced.

(This is one of the most important part of the process, especially for sick people. It is accomplished with the use of a RITA meter.

The electrical readings must not be taken longer than 48 hours before removal. This is because the electrical readings change as the pH varies. Vinegar and oil dressing, for example the night before a test will give different results than if no dressing, or a different type, was eaten.

The sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system are affected by the immediate discharges at the time of removal so it is not advisable to chart readings for future reference

Dd10 was tested for celiac four years ago bc two siblings were dx’d (positive labs and biopsies). Her results at the time were positive ema  and ttg (7x the UL), but a negative biopsy. We checked again three months later and her ttg was still positive (4x the UL), but ema and biopsy were negative. Doc said it was “potential celiac” and to keep eating gluten, but we were concerned about harming her growth and development while young and had her go gluten-free because we felt the labs and ema in particular were very suggestive of early celiac, despite the negative biopsies. She also had stomach aches and lethargy when eating it. We just felt it’d be better to be safe than sorry. Now, four years later, she doesn’t want to be gluten-free if she doesn’t “have to be,” so underwent a 12 week gluten challenge. She had labs done before starting and all looked great (celiac panel all negative, as expected.) Surprisingly, she experienced no noticeable symptoms when she began eating gluten again, which we felt was a positive sign. However, 12 weeks in, her labs are positive again (ttg 4x the UL and ema positive again as well). Doc says that since she feels fine and her previous two biopsies showed nothing, she can just keep eating gluten and we could maybe biopsy again in two years. I was looking up the ema test and the probability of having not just one but two false positives, and it seems ridiculously low.  Any advice? Would you biopsy again? She’s old enough at this point that I really feel I need her buy-in to keep her gluten-free, and she feels that if the doc says it’s fine, then that’s the final word — which makes me inclined to biopsy again and hope that it actually shows damage this time (not because I want her to have celiac like her sisters, but because I kind of think she already does have it, and seeing the damage now would save her more severe damage in the long run that would come from just continuing to eat gluten for a few more years before testing again.)  Our doc is great - we really like him. But we are very confused and want to protect her. One of her older sibs stopped growing and has lots of teeth problems and all that jazz from not catching the celiac disease sooner, and we don’t want to get to that point with the younger sis. fwiw- she doesn’t mind the biopsy at all. It’s at a children’s hospital and she thinks it’s kind of fun. So it’s not like that would stress her out or anything.

Thanks for the replies. I already use a gluten-free brand of buckwheat flakes I occasionally get itchy bumps. I'm still reviewing all my food products. I occasionally eat prepackaged gluten-free crackers and cookies, so I'll stop using those. I use buckwheat flakes and Doves Farm flour as a base for baking. Would you recommend eliminating those as well? It's a constant search.

Gluten free food is not fortified with vitamins and minerals as regular food is.  Vitamin deficiencies are common especially in recently diagnosed persons,  Get a 25(OH)Vitamin D blood test. And work on raising it.  The safe upper blood level is around 200 nmol/L.    "Low serum levels of 25(OH)D have been associated with increased risk of autoimmune disease onset and/or high disease activity. The role of vitamin D in autoimmune diseases   🏋️‍♂️Good job!   I find the commercial milk will give me mild stomach burn at night, while pasture/grassfed only milk does not bother me at all.  While you are healing, listen to your body.  If it hurts to eat something, eat something else.  You may be able to eat it later, or maybe it is just not good for you.  Lower your Omega 6 to 3 ratio of what you eat.  Most omega 6 fatty acids are inflammation causing.    The standard american diet omega 6:3 ratio is estimated at upward of 14:1.  Thats why fish oil works

I  notice a reaction to tea bags, possibly due to gluten or other substances. Is this recognizable?
    • trents
The blood tests you had done are not the main ones. The two main ones are the "Total IGA" (to check for IGA deficiency) and the "TTG-IGA". Current guidelines for the "gluten challenge" when people have been gluten free for a significant time period are the daily consumption of at least10g of gluten (about the amount in 4-6 slices of wheat bread) for at least two weeks leading up to the day of the blood draw. That should give you some perspective.
