Julie,

The class I took Monday was regular yoga. I thought I would do better. It was fast paced though. So, now I am looking for an easy class to start and move up.

It could be a cold I am trying to fight off and that's making me tired too - who knows. I think I'll take some oregano oil just in case!

My daughter is doing pretty good! Not much leg pain. I have been giving her magnesium and that seems to help, too.

Donna,

Yes, I know what you mean about the shoulder blades! Mine does that. And if I let it go, my neck starts to hurt too. Which is where I am at right now.

April

 You're welcome Julie Marie.

Middle names??

Donna Joy? That is just so adorable! It goes with the smiley face.

Donna,

I actually cracked a rib from coughing once. :o

It was a long time ago...in my early 20's. I had this cough that was pretty bad...then my chest started hurting really bad and it hurt to breathe, sleep, move....you know...all those things we kinda NEED to do.

Went to the Dr. and my rib was cracked from coughing too hard.

I wore some kind of brace thingy around my ribcage and the very next day the pain went away!

I have a cough right now but its more of a baby cough...nothing powerful enough to pop ribs out...at least I hope not! :P

I was feeling alot better yesterday...then got on the phone for like 4 hours straight. I ended up worse again! I dont get that! I was relaxing the whole time but just using my voice flares it all up again!

My throat got more sore...ended up with this little cough...so I stayed home again. I dont wanna miss the party this weekend and I could not imagine going to work in the cold dairy case at 5 am this morning....I dont think it would help at all.

Hey everyone

I started the waiora zeolite yesterday. It stirred up a little yeast on the first 15 drops but that was it.

I have a lot less floaters today and I see a little more brighter colors. :) I hear this stuff can start to work pretty fast so we will see.

I am going to another waiora meeting tonight. They will talk about this agarigold product and how it works as an antibiotic. I might want to try that next. I have learned a lot of mothers use the NCD zeolite on thier autistic children and they do well on it, speak more and more eye contact and they eat more too.

Hey does anyone know if that documentary Under Our Skin's is playing in California? It is showing on Saturday. I wonder if it's just in New York.?? <_<

No and it has nothing to do with Elvis Prestley's daughter.

Joy isn't really my middle name, and I'm pretty sure Marie isn't Julie's, lol. We did one of those 20 question get to know you quizes and you had to answer a bunch of questions to see how well you knew the other person...one of the questions was guessing what their middle name was, lol.

Ok, I totally read that wrong, I seem to be having that problem lately. I had Carla in Mexico.....Sorry about that. I read it as you had done another HOT yoga class....geeesh.

Could be that it was too fast paced like you said, or your cold. Try just relaxing yoga and see if it has the same effect, you will still get the benefit of it, it still works the muscles, moves toxins, but just at a slower pace and more gently.

Glad your daughter is doing well :)

Glad you are doing ok so far with the zeolite, hope that continues.

Awesome Lisa!!

Did you get it from Dr. M.? Maybe I can see if Amy can test me for it next time she comes.

No, I got the nutramedix one from Dr. M. I don't think it works as well because it's powder form. If it works really well for me I might become a Independent Distributor. I don't know.

I got it from this site.. www.mywaiora.com/196579

Rachel,

Do you use any mineral supplement?

Elisabet,

This is what I've been working on recently. Yes...I've tried mineral supplements in the past. I havent tolerated any multi-minerals...or most of the orals I've tried.

There are a couple that I test well for (magnesium and calcium) and thats all I take orally right now. I get everything tested first because pretty much everything I pick up at the store has added ingredients and I react. I try to get high quality brands which are hypoallergenic and dont have anything but the mineral.

I dont really think I absorb the oral supplements and it feels like the calcium comes out in my nails and probably my hair/skin as well. <_<

I think the minerals dont actually get utilized as they should because I still have a toxic load of mercury as well as other metals. Mercury can block the minerals so even though I take them they dont necessarily get into the cells.

I was doing mineral IV's for a few months....3 hours of mineral drip every 2 weeks. It included all the minerals. Now I've learned that my copper is too high...which is not good and is most likely increasing the toxicity in my body.

Its good to have a red blood cell test to see exactly which minerals are needed....and which might be too high already. If copper is high taking a multi mineral will worsen that situation which is what was happening with me..... it took awhile for me to figure that out. I finally requested a blood test to check it.

Now, I'm only going to supplement what is needed and definately no copper.

I dont think I can try it yet because I'm hoping to get back on DMPS...but I wanna see how well you do with it and also get some info. I dont know if Amy has any Zeolites with her when she tests me but if this one isnt too expensive I'd be willing to try it out later on.

Absolultely! Smoke or any other chemical my body doesnt respond well to can cause all of that and more.

Yes, yes, yes and yes.

Thanks lisa and rachel, I feel so much better now. I kept telling him that he was lying and that i needed to do an drug test on him. He kept telling me it was the truth. I asked him why he doesnt get sick when i smoked. he said cause it was outside. I feel really bad for not believing him. I believed the nasuated and tiredness, but him stumbling, had me baffled. I know mold makes me nasuated and light headed, but i dont think i have ever stumbled, but maybe that is cause i go straight to bed.

IS there anything I can do for this.

Oh yes--absolutely. I get those and also a feeling in the back of my neck like getting hit with a 2x4! Smoke, and most artificial and chemical scents will do it.

Paula,

If he's having this problem it could very well be from the mold in the house. It would lead to additional sensitivities and difficulty handling everyday exposures. Its a big burden on the immune system.

The only thing that helped me was avoidance. We dont use chemicals at home and noone smokes around me. I can handle stuff better outside but definately not indoors or in a small area such as in a car or anywhere that I cant escape the smoke/chemicals. Also, when your sensitive this stuff lingers around for a LONG time...a healthy person wouldnt notice it because they are able to detoxify much better.

I hope no one minds but I would like to jump in on this thread (all 1900 pages of it) and ask some questions.

Rachel has been kind enough to open my eyes to the possibility that the candida that caused the food intolerances is itself caused by something else. Maybe heavy metals maybe Lyme's.

I have read like crazy to get a grasp on what to do next because the candida came back when I wasn't super strict on the diet. Is the following the correct course of action;

1) Heal Leaky Gut

2) Check mineral levels and restore if possible

3) Test for Lyme and/or heavy metals

4) Chelation or some other process for removing heavy metals

5) Deal with candida through diet and anti fungals

6) start living a normal life again

Is this basically the process. I've got 1 and 2 down I think. I know I either have heavy metal or lyme so instead of testing I already ordered two product, one is a suppository for heavy metals and the other is foot pads for the same thing. After that I have a product called MMS that is suppose to kill everything bad in my system but probably kills the good bacteria. I have great probiotics ready to restore the good stuff after I kill the bad stuff. At that point I was planning on continuing the strict anti candida diet for several months until my immune system is convinced I am OK.

Any advice on my strategy would be appreciated.

elisabet Contributor

I have heard that mms has helped some people. But do you know how long you should use it to get some results?

In the study linked above, the little girl switched to a gluten free diet and gained enough weight that that fat pad was replenished and surgery was not needed.   Here's the full article link... Hello, @Jordan Carlson, So glad you're feeling better.   Tecta is a proton pump inhibitor.  PPI's also interfere with the production of the intrinsic factor needed to absorb Vitamin B12.  Increasing the amount of B12 you supplement has helped overcome the lack of intrinsic factor needed to absorb B12. Proton pump inhibitors also reduce the production of digestive juices (stomach acids).  This results in foods not being digested thoroughly.  If foods are not digested sufficiently, the vitamins and other nutrients aren't released from the food, and the body cannot absorb them.  This sets up a vicious cycle. Acid reflux and Gerd are actually symptoms of producing too little stomach acid.  Insufficient stomach acid production is seen with Thiamine and Niacin deficiencies.  PPI's like Tecta also block the transporters that pull Thiamine into cells, preventing absorption of thiamine.  Other symptoms of Thiamine deficiency are difficulty swallowing, gagging, problems with food texture, dysphagia. Other symptoms of Thiamine deficiency are symptoms of ADHD and anxiety.  Vyvanse also blocks thiamine transporters contributing further to Thiamine deficiency.  Pristiq has been shown to work better if thiamine is supplemented at the same time because thiamine is needed to make serotonin.  Doctors don't recognize anxiety and depression and adult onset ADHD as early symptoms of Thiamine deficiency. Stomach acid is needed to digest Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) in fruits and vegetables.  Ascorbic acid left undigested can cause intestinal upsets, anxiety, and heart palpitations.   Yes, a child can be born with nutritional deficiencies if the parents were deficient.  Parents who are thiamine deficient have offspring with fewer thiamine transporters on cell surfaces, making thiamine deficiency easier to develop in the children.  A person can struggle along for years with subclinical vitamin deficiencies.  Been here, done this.  Please consider supplementing with Thiamine in the form TTFD (tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide) which helps immensely with dysphagia and neurological symptoms like anxiety, depression, and ADHD symptoms.  Benfotiamine helps with improving intestinal health.  A B Complex and NeuroMag (a magnesium supplement), and Vitamin D are needed also.
    • knitty kitty
@pothosqueen, Welcome to the tribe! You'll want to get checked for nutritional deficiencies and start on supplementation of B vitamins, especially Thiamine Vitamin B 1.   There's some scientific evidence that the fat pad that buffers the aorta which disappears in SMA is caused by deficiency in Thiamine.   In Thiamine deficiency, the body burns its stored fat as a source of fuel.  That fat pad between the aorta and digestive system gets used as fuel, too. Ask for an Erythrocyte Transketolace Activity test to look for thiamine deficiency.  Correction of thiamine deficiency can help restore that fat pad.   Best wishes for your recovery!   Interesting Reading: Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome in a 6-Year-Old Girl with Final Diagnosis of Celiac Disease https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31089433/#:~:text=Affiliations,tissue and results in SMAS.
    • trents
Wow! You're pretty young to have a diagnosis of SMA syndrome. But youth also has its advantages when it comes to healing, without a doubt. You might be surprised to find out how your health improves and how much better you feel once you eliminate gluten from your diet. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that, when gluten is consumed, triggers an attack on the villous lining of the small bowel. This is the section of the intestines where all our nutrition is absorbed. It is made up of billions of tiny finger-like projections that create a tremendous surface area for absorbing nutrients. For the person with celiac disease, unchecked gluten consumption generates inflammation that wears down these fingers and, over time, greatly reduces the nutrient absorbing efficiency of the small bowel lining. This can generate a whole host of other nutrient deficiency related medical problems. We also now know that the autoimmune reaction to gluten is not necessarily limited to the lining of the small bowel such that celiac disease can damage other body systems and organs such as the liver and the joints and cause neurological problems.  It can take around two years for the villous lining to completely heal but most people start feeling better well before then. It's also important to realize that celiac disease can cause intolerance to some other foods whose protein structures are similar to gluten. Chief among them are dairy and oats but also eggs, corn and soy. Just keep that in mind.
