Today we got our annual water report in the mail. Guess what was over the limit. Yes, it was arsenic. I am so livid at this town right now. This just proves many of my health problems are from the water. Does anyone know of a safe way to detox arsenic out of my body. I am doing the detox foot pads that take out arsenic, but i didnt know what else i could do.

paula

Arsenic was pulled out with my chelation treatments. I was doing IV DMPS....but its kind of expensive. I forget if you have fillings or not....but if you do chelation is not an option. :(

How long til you know the results of the scopes?

Well, unless he can see something, I'm guessing we'll have to wait for lab analysis of the samples. The other times, I had to wait longer than normal because he saw that the cells were "different" so had the samples sent to other labs for confirmation. That's when the debacle of is it precancer or isn't it happened, lol. It's likely I have another stomach polyp and probably some damage to the esophagus, but other than that I think we'll just have to wait. I don't like waiting, lol.

Sheesh Paula!!! What the heck are they doing there! I don't know specifically about detoxing arsenic, but I would think that whatever you can do to support the detox process would help with all kinds of detox in the long run.

I'm sorry Paula. I don't know what would be effective for detoxing and it would depend on what would work for you as well. Chlorella might work, but I don't know if you can handle it.

Maybe others will have better ideas.

Im sure i couldnt handle it lol. Im to the point i cant handle anything lol

Well i guess that isnt an option then lol.

Well tell those drs that ur friends cant wait, we have to know asap lol.

I have no idea what they are doing here. I think they are trying to kill us tho. well me at least lol. Detoxing is so hard when i cant have citrus fruit so lemon water is out. The water here is so bad that detox baths are out. I guess i need to take charcoal on more regular basis tho. What else is there. I cant even think anymore.

Has anyone done the clay baths, that keeps popping up when i research how to detox arsenic. But im thinking someone said they mess up your plumbing.

I also was curious about zeolite. Who was it that knew alot about it? Would this be something that would help pull out the arsenic.

Paula,

the best thing you can do is keep your detox pathways open as much as possible so the metals don't build up too much. Sweating, sauna, lymph brushing, detox baths (if you can ever get some clean water!)....ect. You could try taking liver supportive herbs or teas. I do dandelion tea a lot and take milk thistle.

Check out www.liverdoctor.com - a lot of good tips on foods and things that support the liver.

The zeolite looked very interesting when I looked into it!

Can you look into a whole house water filter? Looks like you can't really trust that they are going to give you "clean"water.

I read alot about those clay baths. There is something that you buy along with the clay to keep the drain clean.

You could start with doing the foot baths, though. That way you can use bottle spring or reverse osmosis water and not clog the drains. Is it the LL Magnetic Clay website you're looking at?

Happy 4th of July holiday to you all!

Here's a quick update about what tests I had drawn on Monday: Spectracell comprehensive 5000 (checks intracellular levels of many vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc), Doctor's Data RBC elements, Vitamin Diagnostics ammonia and Sam/SAH (rbc), plus a PCR test for babesia, and Vitamin D level, liver enzymes and High sensitivity C-reactive protein. This plus the Rosmed gut profile.

Like others here...I hate the wait for the test results!

Carla emailed me and said to tell everyone she says HI! :)

She said happy bday to Donna too.

I'm about to go to my pre-op appt, once I get out of bed. Mepron is kicking my butt these days!

AndreaB Contributor

Sherry,

I'll be anxiously awaiting your test results as well.

Kassandra,

Hope the pre-op goes smoothly. Sorry about the mepron effects.

I know I am way behind here on posts but I have been thinking of you all.

Sherry thanks for the update.

I just got my results back from the blood tests I had drawn for about 3 weeks ago, they got last ibn the shuffle at the lab I guess

I had a complete thyroid panel (including reverse and free T3 /T4), Vitamin D, Fibrinogen, Homocysteine, and C Reactive Protein.

My Vit D was just slightly low, C Reactive Protein was very elevated.

My Dr is on vacation this week so I am anxious to hear what he says after he gets a chance to lok the results over.

I hope you ge your results back in a timely manner :)

Kassandra, how are you doing? I've been thinking of you  Good luck with the pre-opt appt and keep us updated as you are able.

Thinking of Donna too, hoping her biopsy went well

AndreaB Contributor

Julie,

What's the C Reactive Protein measure? Do you know?

confused Community Regular

Andrea,

I was just going to ask the same thing.

Sherry,

I hope all the test will be able to tell you something.

Donna,.

Thinking of you today.

Julie.

I bet just spending a few more minutes in the sun would help the vit d.

Everyone.

I have been researching alot the last few days and got myself overwhelmed. I decided to put my health on hold til after the 4th lol. I also ordered the enymes rachel always talks about. I cant wait to try them and eat some cheese lol

Hi Julie, I'm curious about your Vit D, and whether the lab is using the current recommendations--many are not. Should be a minimum of 50, and better normal range is 60-70.

Sherry

C-reactive protein seems to be an inflammation marker.

True it does help, however, I read in one of the articles by a Vit D expert that it is really way too slow if you are deficient, but may be okay to keep your levels up if they are normal.

If we are deficient we really need supplementation and a significant amount.

Julie,

What's the C Reactive Protein measure? Do you know?

Andrea, I see Sherry posted a link about it.

I've been reading about it on Wikipedia, mostly talks about the association to the heart but inflammation can come from all of the organs and result in high C reactive protein levels. I think my concern is my liver, but again anxiously awaiting to hear from Dr Z.

Paula, that's what I have planned to spend 15 minutes a day in the sun unprotected, but I have been covered with angioedema pretty much for the entire last month <_< I've gotten in a few days here and there but not enough.

I think it's ok to take a break when you get overwhlemed, I do it often. Enjoy the holiday with your hubby and kids, laugh a lot, take in all the simple things, then you can come back to it :)

I can eat dairy no problems now, it was just what I was eating with it. MMMM, Cheese :D In moderation however

That's the thing Sherry , the ranges. My Drs never even go by the ranges that are set anyway. I'll be anxious to hear.

Donna, hope things went well, can't wait for your update.

Kassandra, is the pre-op for your D & C?

Sorry about the Mepron herx...I guess I can't take Mepron according to ART and am worried that enula and andrographis won't be enough. I think I am going to try it starting tomorrow though, that will give me 2 weeks on it when I see my LLMD. I think he will be ok with that long a break from Zith. I think I am going to go for the full dose and not ramp up...so I can see clearly what happens. If it is too much I can always back off.

Did you say moderation! What's moderation!

I have an easier time with moderation with cheese than I do ice cream though.

Off to look at the webpage.....

Sherry,

I'd tend to believe ART as it seems to be right on with what Rachel and Donna have done. That's just me though. I'll be doing a more thorough ART this fall right after my teeth are done and specifically requested to find out how much of a problem the mercury is for me. I don't have the money for the other tests so ART is going to have to be it and tell me what treatment is best for me.

Rachel--24 Collaborator
I also ordered the enymes rachel always talks about. I cant wait to try them and eat some cheese lol

Paula....which ones did you get?? Peptizyde and Zyme Prime?

Anyways, keep in mind that they are designed to break down the proteins (gluten, casein, soy, etc)...and Zyme Prime (if you got it) breaks down the carbs, lactose and all the rest.

So if your problem with cheese is due to the casein...then yeah...the enzymes will help. BUT...if your problem with cheese is MOLD..thats a whole different thing.

The enzymes wont help with mold....and since you have a history of reacting to mold....you might wanna be careful with the cheese. ;)

Rachel--24 Collaborator
Did you say moderation! What's moderation!

I think around here we would call that "carlaing"??

I'm not too familiar with moderation. :P

I still dont understand how anyone can take a couple bites of a donut and save the rest for later?? WTH??

I'd tend to believe ART as it seems to be right on with what Rachel and Donna have done. That's just me though.

I love ART!!!! :D

I have alot of respect for Amy....and I feel very confidant in her abiltites...so there's not alot that I would question in my results. :)

So far ART has been very accurate for me...but the biggest stressors were missed....simply because they werent tested.

Thats why it can be REALLY beneficial to do some of your own "homework".....that way if you think you might be onto something...you can have those things tested . :)

Kassandra, is the pre-op for your D & C?

Sherry

What about artemesia for babs?

The pre-op went fine, it was for the D and C. I'm really anemic again...no surprise there. So the gyno wants me to see the hematologist to get more iron IV's. My ferritin is 4 and every other number other than hemoglobin is low. My hemoglobin is 12ish, which is higher than we thought, but still low for me.

Her main concern with the whole D and C is malignant lining. She said other than that, she's not that concerned about the procedure itself and risks. I will have to start BCP's Monday night so we can stop the bleeding from being this out of control again.

I'm going to fax the blood work over to Dr H and see what they say.

Julie, I'm okay. Just really really tired. And in a lot of pain lately.

Rachel--24 Collaborator
I know I am way behind here on posts but I have been thinking of you all.

Julie, sorry to hear you've had a bad month with the angio. :(

Pretty awesome about eating dairy though! :)

One day you might see me post that "I can eat dairy again"...FOR REAL. :D

I'm pretty much caught up on posts....I've been reading....just havent had anything new to share. Waiting for the OAT results....thats about it.

Sherry...I guess we're in the same boat with the waiting. I have no patience whatsoever!!!

Everyone,

I been wandering around the board....having fun with sharing the scientificness. :)

So far its been pretty safe out there!! Usually I dont last too long outside of Rachelville...its gotten pretty scary at times.

I dont wanna push my luck but so far so good. ;)

I better watch out for the full moon though. :P

Anyways, its nice to get to share some of the stuff thats lost in these pages. :)

OH....and I found out from reading a post somewhere that the "OMG thread" is over 2,000 pages....all about CORN!!

OMG....I thought that was freakin hilarious.

Yeah....can you imagine if we'd never got past the corn??

and....OMG...I might be able to eat dairy again. :P

Rachel--24 Collaborator
What about artemesia for babs?

....or Cumanda??

Sherry....have you ever tried (or been tested for) Cumanda?? Some people have had good results.

Cumanda is an extremely powerful anti-Lyme treatment, as well as an excellent anti-fungal and also is a pretty good anti-viral and antiparasitic. So you eliminate a lot of different bugs with one therapy.

Can you do any herbals alongside the abx?? I dunno about that part.

Hey everyone

So Great!! one of my fillings broke today! I think I swallowed some. It isn't a mercury filling it is white. Does anyone know if this could make me sick? I guess I just might have to wait and see. Dumb dentist.

Hi Jane: You may want to try the D3 I now take. I have reactions to fillers and many additives. Sports Research, it is based in the USA and I have had no bad reactions with this brand. The D3 does have coconut oil but it is non GMO, it is Gluten free, Soy free, Soybean free and Safflower oil free.  I have a cupboard full of supplements that did not agree with me -  I just keep trying and have finally settled on Sports Research. I take NAKA Women's Multi full spectrum, and have not felt sick after taking 2 capsules per day -  it is a Canadian company. I buy both from Amazon. I wish you well in your searching, I know how discouraging it all is. Florence.

highly unlikely  NOTHING and I mean NOTHING else has ever caused me these kinds of symptoms I have no problem with dates, they are a large part of my diet In fact, I eat a very high fiber, very high vegetable and bean diet and have for many years now. It's considered a whole foods plant based or plant forward diet (I do now eat some lean ground turkey but not much) I was off dairy for years but recently had to add back plain yogurt to meet calcium needs that I am not allowed to get from supplements (I have not had any problem with the yogurt)   I eat almost no processed foods. I don't eat out. almost everything I eat, I cook myself I am going to keep a food diary but to be honest, I already know that it's wheat products and also barley that are the problem, which is why I gradually stopped eating and buying them. When I was eating them, like back in early 2024, when I was in the middle of moving and ate out (always had bread or toast or rolls or a sub or pizza) I felt terrible but at that time was so busy and exhausted that I never stopped to think it was the food. Once I was in my new place, I continued to have bread from time to time and had such horrible joint pain that I was preparing for 2 total knee replacements as well as one hip! The surgery could not go forward as I was (and still am) actively losing calcium from my bones. That problem has yet to be properly diagnosed and treated   anyway over time I realized that I felt better when I stopped eating bread. Back at least 3 yrs ago I noticed that regular pasta made me sick so I switched to brown rice pasta and even though it costs a lot more, I really like it.   so gradually I just stopped buying and eating foods with gluten. I stopped getting raisin bran when I was constipated because it made me bloated and it didn't help the constipation any more (used to be a sure bet that it would in the past)   I made cookies and brownies using beans and rolled oats and dates and tahini and I LOVE them and have zero issues eating those I eat 1 or more cans of beans per day easily can eat a pound of broccoli - no problem! Brussels sprouts the same thing.   so yeh it's bread and related foods that are clearly the problem  there is zero doubt in my mind

Thank you for your post, @nanny marley It is interesting what you say about 'It's OK not to sleep'. Worrying about sleeping only makes it much harder to sleep.  One of my relatives is an insomniac and I am sure that is part of the problem.  Whereas I once had a neighbour who, if she couldn't sleep, would simply get up again, make a cup of tea, read, do a sudoku or some other small task, and then go back to bed when she felt sleepy again.  I can't think it did her any harm - she lived  well into her nineties. Last week I decided to try a Floradix Magnesium supplement which seems to be helping me to sleep better.  It is a liquid magnesium supplement, so easy to take.  It is gluten free (unlike the Floradix iron supplement).  Might be worth a try.

It could be a fructan intolerance? How do you do with dates?  https://www.dietvsdisease.org/sorry-your-gluten-sensitivity-is-actually-a-fructan-intolerance/

Thank’s for addressing the issue of mushrooms.  I was under the impression that only wild mushrooms were gluten-free.  Have been avoiding cultivated mushrooms for years. Also, the issue of smoked food was informative.  In France last year, where there is hardly any prepared take-out food that is gluten-free, I tried smoked chicken.  Major mistake!
