If you suffer from asthma or allergy, think first that it may be due to an intestinal disorder or a food intolerance

This was my horoscope today. I was lmao at it. Im like do u really think so lol.

I wont be on much the next week, hubby is on vacation and we have lots of fun things planned. Everyone pray that i will have good days. Im also thinking this is a good time to start the humaworm since he will be at home lol.

paula

Hi Paula,

That sounds like fun! Just try to keep your diet simple - eat what you know you tolerate.

I hope you have good days all week! :)

What is this Rachel?

Julie, its a machine that is being used in Germany to treat various conditions.....including Lyme Disease. Apparantly it has been very effective. Its an expensive machine but someone I know (who posts on LymeNet and is German) purchased her own. She went to Germany for a few weeks with her husband (who is still sick) to get treatments....now she's back in the states with her machine.

Its similar to LED in that you need to have someone who does ART (or similar) to do the necessary testing prior to the treatments. The machine itself is different than what we've done with LED.

Heres a link but it doesnt actually provide much info.

Open Original Shared Link

Anyways it seems to be working fairly quickly and getting people well without any abx.

She's learned a ton about it, talked with different Dr.'s and patients and is reporting really good results for herself and for her husband. She's actually been symptom free for several years now (she is a patient/friend of Dr. K) but her husband still suffers symptoms. She used the machine and found that she still had some issues even though she was symptom free. She actually had her bulls-eye rash reappear after using the machine. :o

She stays on top of everything as far as detox....saunas, lasers, chlorella...everything she learned from Dr. K and more....so she's using the machine to address the Lyme that is still present. Shes in her 70's and definately doing better than most of us who are half her age!

I've learned alot from her and from her experiences...and its nice that she shares it all with so many. :)

If you're interested there are a couple threads on LymeNET with ALOT of detail about this. I dont think I can link to them because of the "lame advertisement" thingy....but let me know if you cant find them over there.

From what she's been saying people are getting well...its dealing with the bugs and with the metals. You have to be working with someone who can do the testing and who also can provide the necessary support with the metal detox, etc.

It takes longer for the ones who have been on abx and other drugs because they tend to have more issues....but it seems to work. I think its something like over 2,000 people who are well now....or close to it.

There are no Dr.'s here in the states who are trained on how to use it and for now no Dr.'s here have access to a machine. :(

I think as more info. becomes available (and if it continues to be positive) more and more people will be going to Germany either for treatment or to bring back a machine....or both.

Does anyone know what to take for PMS. It's getting worse every month. It's to the point where I could just hit someone. But it's not me. I don't know what it is. I feel all itchy and upset inside.

Have a fun week next week Paula! :D

Rachel,

That machine sounds really good! Hopefully it won't take too long to gain access over here......once they go through all the hoops that is.

Nancy, do you think enula would be better to start with since it's fewer ingredients and come in drops?

The Humaworm can be special mixed for you. They will leave out whatever herbs you can't handle ... of course, you have to know which ones bother you.

The enula isn't really for all parasites .... but it works on roundworms for sure!

I read the ingredients of Humaworm and I have tried many (not all) of those herbs at one time or another...so I don't think I would have an allergic reaction, per se, I am just concerned with taking them all at once, four times a day, especially since I am taking many other herbs for the Lyme (antibacterial and antimicrobial)... It is the heavy load of so many herbs that I am concerned with as my system may get very confused. Maybe you are right and I should start with Enula.

Sherry mentioned Bromelain and pumpkin seeds. Bromelain kills the worms and Pumpkin seeds detach them. I have been taking large amounts of Bromelain for a couple of years just for digestion... so I wonder if I have a bunch of dead worms in there still hanging on! <_<

I am frustrated with the state of my stomach...before the ABX I had little to no digestive problems especially since cutting out all of the offenders. Now my stomach is a mess most of the time.

If I wanted to take a trip over there eventually and try it out, do you think I would have to have an appointment with a physician in Germany? Where to begin the process?

I cannot log on to LymeNET or else I would look it up myself . I have never registered and when I try, they tell me my user name and e-mail address are already in use.

You would need to see Dr. W. or some other Dr. who's experienced with it. You shoudnt have to log onto the board to read the topics. Just go to the threads which discuss it and pretty much all questions regarding the machine have been answered....and there is still ongoing discussion. I think G has posted her email address and you can always email her any questions you might have.

Dear Everyone,

I just realized how long it had been since I posted. I have been in one of those profoundly depressed states again. Getting anything done is impossible. When you are like this, you do not even care. I do not think I will ever get my Lyme testing done. :( Mom and Dad spent my money I had saved for it.

I knew I should not have put it in their account! They are like "Well, I don't think you have Lyme anyway." How would they know? These were the two people that convinced me going to IU Med was a good idea, that I did not have Celiac Disease, and that my gallbladder was fine. What does that tell you!? I feel like I am going to die before anything happens that is good.

Honest to God, I would rather blow my brains out than live here any longer. It would hardly be worth it, though, considering these two idiots would not even give me a decent funeral. At least I could haunt them and throw things at them if I were a ghost. They would deserve it. I have got to find a way out of here!

I cannot deal with this anymore. If people want to ruin their own lives and health, that is fine. However, when you hurt someone else's intentionally, that is a horse of another color. Last night, they were going to have me cancel with Dr. D today because it is costing so much. You cannot cancel on such short notice without people becoming irritated with you. I told them, I do not want to ruin this.

So, I get to go to the appointment this afternoon. I do have to start making my appointments only once every month now, though. I have had no sleep really for about a week, and everything is a mess. This atmosphere is completely miserable. I have half a nerve to write Dr. Phil.

I am so tired of having to pretend everything is fine, when it is not. I have had to do this for years. Ever since I was a teenager, when I found out people are not perfect, like you think they are when you are young. You tend to put the adults around you on a pedestal, until you realize they often make their own problems. This is also when you see how selfish others are, and that they could not care less if their laziness hurts you or others.

Since I have been absent from the thread, catching up is difficult. I thought I would just jump in if that is alright. When I am upset, all rationality is completely destroyed due to my emotions. They are so strong, nothing can calm them. Right now, everything sucks. If only I could get a business loan to get an e-merchant club site with SMC. They advertise them and everything! With my bad credit from medical bills and student loans, no one will give me one.

Sincerely,

Jin

Jin,

NoGluGirl Contributor

Dear Paula and Andrea,

Thank you for the support! I know you all understand what this is like. You know I have been having to melt ice in glasses and cover them with a paper plate to have water? Dad refuses to accept that sitting the filter parts on the crumb-filled counter top could make me sick, and he and Mom refuse to let me get bottled water because it is too expensive. How come we cannot afford that, but we could afford a 24 bottle pack of Diet Lipton Citrus Green Tea?

It is amazing how we always have enough money for whatever they need or just want. I ended up rescheduling my appointment with Dr. D for August 8th. All I know is, something has got to give. One thing is for certain, I need to find someone who can lend me some start-up capital for an SMC e-commerce site. Meanwhile, it is time I begin getting my priorities straight. I would rather just break every single one of those dishes instead of washing them and putting them away, and burn their clothes instead of washing them before my own.

There are times I have stayed up all night doing Dad's clothes just so he would have something nice to wear to a meeting. Truth be told, they are in no hurry for me to leave. Then, their personal maid, cook, secretary, sounding board, and doormat extraordinaire would be gone. No one would clean the refrigerator, remember to feed the dog, do laundry, cook, call in prescriptions, remind everyone about bills and appointments and phone calls, clean up and attempt to organize the house, as well as help with the trash. It has occurred to me that they do not want me to get well.

I have half a nerve to dye my hair back the way it was. What was the point in getting it done in the first place if I could not keep it up? It certainly did not change my luck any like I thought it would. Obviously, the black was not attracting the bad stuff. The thing is, I do not want to hurt the person who did my hair. This is a huge source of conflict for me right now. At least the black dye was affordable.

Sincerely,

Jin

UGH!!! Sounds so frustrating! Maybe you should have a little hideaway for your money and ONLY spend it on your healthcare stuff. I am sure that the emotional aspect is very draining and not good for healing.

Is there somewhere you can go?

April

NoGluGirl Contributor

Dear April,

I know my emotions are certainly not helpful to the health situation. This atmosphere is so oppressive.

I could not have my own bank account due to not having a driver's license. The bank only allows licensed drivers to have accounts there. It is absurd, considering a member of Al-Qaeda could come in there and fund terrorist activities just because he can drive! However, I am a naturalized, American-born citizen of the United States of America and cannot have a bank account due to being a pedestrian!

I cannot have an account with the credit union until I can afford to pay the fees from when I was defrauded. An outfit I thought was going to build my Web site for the SMC merchandise and advertise it was not even associated with them. They even withdrew double payments from the account. Now I owe the credit union over $100 plus interest. Be sure to never trust a company called Digiworld Technologies.

I may see if my cousin and his wife would let me go up to Champaign, Illinois with them. I know they need someone to care for the baby while they work. They cannot afford much, but I am thinking I would be cheaper than daycare. He is studying to be a college professor, and she is working at a bank. Mom and Dad said they would not be able to afford that. Maybe not, but checking it out is not a bad idea.

Sincerely,

Jin

Jin,

That nanny job sounds like a good idea. Daycare is so very expensive and if you could save them some money and be a more trusted babysitter - they should love that idea!

Let us know how that pans out.

Nancy, there are a lot of other therapies that go along with the Bionic 880 treatment, it's not a stand alone treatment. so, you do need to go to Dr. Woitzel. It stirs up a lot of "stuff" that needs to be treated/eliminated.

As Rachel said, you can read Lymenet without registering. Read the post by GiGi that says she just got back from Germany with her Bionic 880. It's many pages long. Lots of great info.

Welcome back Jin.

How much Oil of Evening Primrose? Does it matter?

Check copper levels if PMS is really bad. Too much copper can cause that....reducing copper can improve the symptoms.

How do I check copper levels? Could it be the chocolate I eat all the time? I'm already going on a whole week with this. I take magnesium. Never heard of oil of prime rose.

I had my copper checked with a red blood cell (RBC) test and it was high. Chocolate is high in copper so if copper was already high it might make it worse.

Did you start having worse PMS after you started having alot of chocolate?

I don't know. It's like it's not me. I just don't know. I have never felt like this before. Worthless, evious depressed and stuff. I have felt depressed but not like this. I snap all the time. But it lasts thru my regular and then goes away. Each month it gets worse. My brest are very, very sensitive as well.

My mom says I look so mad that my eyes actually turn black. My tia said the same thing too. It scares me sometimes. :(

I have been eating chocolate for about 8 months now. I always felt better. But I don' know.

Jin, I am glad you posted. Hang in there, there has to be a way out. I love the nanny idea, if you are doing all of that stuff at home, seems like you could be doing that for someone else and get paid! Even if you just get paid enough to get a studio apartment, and buy food, you might improve just because you could control what you are exposed to.

I also like the idea of considering who you might live with. What comes to mind is that sometimes there are opportunities to room with an elderly person who just needs someone around. Sometimes there is room and board for the care and assistance given.

I think you could very well be right, that your parents don't want to rock the boat because of the benefits they receive. Also, in most families, once there is a pattern set, the family system has a tendency to maintain that pattern and resists change. So it takes a lot more energy to break out of that. Eventually if you do, and stick it out, a new balance would form, with the outcome a more healthy one for you. There is a risk involved to you and some anxiety. I hope that you can just take the leap of faith to move forward.

Bless you,

Sherry

Awwww Lisa...I'm sorry. :(

PMS is associated with high copper/estrogen levels. Too much copper rasises the estrogen levels and this can lead to severe PMS.

When copper/zinc are out of balance the hormones can also become out of balance. High copper = high estrogen levels.

Have you started taking a mineral supplement or some other supplement which contains copper??

If you did have high copper any added copper from supplements would make it worse...as well as the high copper foods.

You can lower estrogen levels by slashing your copper intake. Copper keeps estrogen levels high. The following foods are high in copper in relation to zinc. Avoid these until you get your menstrual/menopausal problems under control:

Almonds

Avocado

Baker

Jin,

I agree with Sherry. You need to kind of "break the cycle" so that you are not under such stress. I hope you can find a healthy balance if you continue to live with your parents. The nanny job sounds like it would be great for you.

That's it. :o I just started eating peanut butter about a few weeks ago with chocolate. I started then taking nutramedix trace minerals. I think all that copper just got to me.

I just got my zeolite last Thursday. I had been off of it for awhile. An I am out of magnesium and zinc assay.

Yeah I guess I should avoid the foods, although it will be hard.

@Jane02, I hear you about the kale and collard greens.  I don't do dairy and must eat green leafies, too, to get sufficient calcium.  I must be very careful because some calcium supplements are made from ground up crustacean shells.  When I was deficient in Vitamin D, I took high doses of Vitamin D to correct the deficiency quickly.  This is safe and nontoxic.  Vitamin D level should be above 70 nmol/L.  Lifeguards and indigenous Pacific Islanders typically have levels between 80-100 nmol/L.   Levels lower than this are based on amount needed to prevent disease like rickets and osteomalacia. We need more thiamine when we're physically ill, emotionally and mentally stressed, and if we exercise like an athlete or laborer.  We need more thiamine if we eat a diet high in simple carbohydrates.  For every 500 kcal of carbohydrates, we need 500-1000 mg more of thiamine to process the carbs into energy.  If there's insufficient thiamine the carbs get stored as fat.  Again, recommended levels set for thiamine are based on minimum amounts needed to prevent disease.  This is often not adequate for optimum health, nor sufficient for people with absorption problems such as Celiac disease.  Gluten free processed foods are not enriched with vitamins like their gluten containing counterparts.  Adding a B Complex and additional thiamine improves health for Celiacs.  Thiamine is safe and nontoxic even in high doses.  Thiamine helps the mitochondria in cells to function.  Thiamine interacts with each of the other B vitamins.  They are all water soluble and easily excreted if not needed. Interesting Reading: Clinical trial: B vitamins improve health in patients with coeliac disease living on a gluten-free diet https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19154566/ Safety and effectiveness of vitamin D mega-dose: A systematic review https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34857184/ High dose dietary vitamin D allocates surplus calories to muscle and growth instead of fat via modulation of myostatin and leptin signaling https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38766160/ Safety of High-Dose Vitamin D Supplementation: Secondary Analysis of a Randomized Controlled Trial https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31746327/ Vitamins and Celiac Disease: Beyond Vitamin D https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11857425/ Investigating the therapeutic potential of tryptophan and vitamin A in modulating immune responses in celiac disease: an experimental study https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40178602/ Investigating the Impact of Vitamin A and Amino Acids on Immune Responses in Celiac Disease Patients https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10814138/

Thank you so much @knitty kitty for this insightful information! I would have never considered fractionated coconut oil to be a potential source of GI upset. I will consider all the info you shared. Very interesting about the Thiamine deficiency.  I've tracked daily averages of my intake in a nutrition software. The only nutrient I can't consistently meet from my diet is vitamin D. Calcium is a hit and miss as I rely on vegetables, dark leafy greens as a major source, for my calcium intake. I'm able to meet it when I either eat or juice a bundle of kale or collard greens daily haha. My thiamine intake is roughly 120% of my needs, although I do recognize that I may not be absorbing all of these nutrients consistently with intermittent unintentional exposures to gluten.  My vitamin A intake is roughly 900% (~6400 mcg/d) of my needs as I eat a lot of sweet potato, although since it's plant-derived vitamin A (beta-carotene) apparently it's not likely to cause toxicity.  Thanks again!
    • knitty kitty
Hello, @Jane02,  I take Naturewise D 3.  It contains olive oil.   Some Vitamin D supplements, like D Drops, are made with fractionated coconut oil which can cause digestive upsets.  Fractionated coconut oil is not the same as coconut oil used for cooking.  Fractionated coconut oil has been treated for longer shelf life, so it won't go bad in the jar, and thus may be irritating to the digestive system. I avoid supplements made with soy because many people with Celiac Disease also react to soy.  Mixed tocopherols, an ingredient in Thornes Vitamin D, may be sourced from soy oil.  Kirkland's has soy on its ingredient list. I avoid things that might contain or be exposed to crustaceans, like Metagenics says on its label.  I have a crustacean/shellfish/fish allergy.  I like Life Extension Bioactive Complete B Complex.  I take additional Thiamine B 1 in the form Benfotiamine which helps the intestines heal, Life Extension MegaBenfotiamine. Thiamine is needed to activate Vitamin D.   Low thiamine can make one feel like they are getting glutened after a meal containing lots of simple carbohydrates like white rice, or processed gluten free foods like cookies and pasta.   It's rare to have a single vitamin deficiency.  The water soluble B Complex vitamins should be supplemented together with additional Thiamine in the form Benfotiamine and Thiamine TTFD (tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide) to correct subclinical deficiencies that don't show up on blood tests.  These are subclinical deficiencies within organs and tissues.  Blood is a transportation system.  The body will deplete tissues and organs in order to keep a supply of thiamine in the bloodstream going to the brain and heart.   If you're low in Vitamin D, you may well be low in other fat soluble vitamins like Vitamin A and Vitamin K. Have you seen a dietician?

I do not know this, but since they are labelled gluten-free, and are not really a product that could easily be contaminated when making them (there would be not flour in the air of such a facility, for example), I don't really see contamination as something to be concerned about for this type of product.
