(I'm new here, so I hope you don't mind me joining the conversation...)

All I gotta say is that you're all friggin awesome! (Funny, too)

I think most people would read a page like this and think you're all crazy... I know some people who don't even look after going. I thought I was a bit strange, since I have a flashlight in the bathroom drawer just to make sure I get a good look at it. (I've never told anyone else that, either)

I've been trying to figure things out with my doctor, and all I can think about is "If only I could get someone to look at this crap... 'cause that is NOT NORMAL!" But I think my doc would be rather grossed out if I were to bring in pictures. So I just keep going, and wondering why I keep flushing away all the evidence...

Looking at that Bristol scale, I've had more than 1 type in the same sitting. Complete with mucous, too. But then again, there's always mucous. So I don't know what that's all about...

Has anyone ever shown a pic to someone? I'd imagine to the trained eye, that'd be quite helpful in identifying things, but there just doesn't seem to be anyone to show 'em to.

in the past month i have had all of those i am now acually a 4 after only been glute free for 3 1/2 weeks for the past 5 days they have been 4s so i think its here to stay w00t

I don't think you need pictures, I've gotten a good idea of what you're seeing just from your post! :lol:

Welcome! Yup, things get kinda crazy here sometimes...

But, just to let you know, I too examined my poop with a flashlight, so I would know EXACTLY what to tell my GI. Photographs were too gross, so I had to give him a nice, verbal picture.

It was kind of exciting to see normal poop come back, like seeing a long-lost friend..... :rolleyes:

I wanted to throw a party and invite everyone who knew about my problem the first time I had poop that was actually formed!!! It really had a shape!!! What joy!!!!

i can honestly say this week is the first time in my entire life that i can recall having 4s on that scale, i was so happy when i starrted to see normel i managed to gross out every single person i know lol... we are all sick indaviduals

My husband tells me those exact words all the time ... "You are one sick individual!" And, he's always complained about my family's fascination with poop. Funny that no one else considers they may have a gluten problem with all this bm talk!

You think we are sick, there is a website my brother-in-law told us about called ratemypoo ... it's really sick. Don't see the purpose to it at all!

I'm in mourning for my normal stools... :P:(:)

I was at the point early this year that I was mostly feeling good, and my stools were of the 3 and 4 variety... and now I'm back to a wide variety again, if you know what I mean... Blaah. If i get back to normal, I'm definitely going to celebrate! :D

I have taken pics of Curran's poops in the past and have yet to actually show the pics to anyone. When I felt that 2 months of diarrhea blowouts of 10 to 15 times a day was likely NOT toddlers tummy I decided to get my point across the old fashioned way as describing it to the ped was obviously not working. So I scraped a tablespoon of it out of the diaper (he was 2 years old then) and put it in a plastic bag. Then another plastic bag and another and then into the diaper bag. You could smell me coming and the ped was appalled by it and the smell. Got me the start of testing back then and a our first referral to a GI (unfortunately he was an idiot). The point is that a picture may be worth a thousand words but one tablespoon of the stuff made everyone in the office gag and wish they could open the windows! :lol: Trust me, I have done this a few times now and I always seem to get processed a bit quicker and also it drives home that I am NOT exaggerating about it. ;)

How about this name for the poop pictures... Its a crap shoot?

I wanted my results to be sent to my pcp but nothing was sent.I have email copies.I did one zoom call with np with team member from celiac specialist in Nov 2025 and she asked me why I wanted to know why I wanted the celiac diagnosis so bad, I sad I don't, its my life and I need revalidaion because its affecting me.KB stated well it shows you are.I asked then why am I going through all this.I was labeled unruly. Its been a celiac circus and medical has caused anxiety and depression no fault to my own other than being born with bad genetics. How is it legal for medical professionals to gaslight patients that are with an ailment coming for help to be downplayed? KB put in my records that she personally spent 120min with me and I think the zoom call was discussing celiac 80 min ONE ZOOM call.SHE is responsible for not explaining to my pcp about celiac disease am I right?

Its alarming these places are popping up in airports as well.I just saw on the news that the airport ( can't remember which  one)was going to have a fabulous smelling bakery. Not for sensitive celiacs, this can alter their health during their travel which isn't safe. More awareness really NEEDS to be promoted, so much more than just a food consumption!FYI I did write to Stanislaus to let them know my thoughts on the medical field not knowing much about celiac and how it affects one.I also did message my gi the 3 specialist names that was given on previous post on questions on celiac. I pray its not on deaf door.

      I used to be able to get the Rivera yougut i havent been able to get it lately. I like getting it did say it did say gluten free. I just looking for a good yogurt that gluten free that i can add some fruit and nuts to any suggestion would be helpful  thanks
