So I am in medical school and did my theme paper on Celiac. It is amazing how many people looked at me dumb founded when I started talking about it. I taught a lot of people a lot of new things tonight and I learned a few new things about it myself researching for my paper.. I got really nervous but I did a good job!!

That's awesome!! You're educating a new generation of physicians! Even if you got some blank stares tonight, you know that they'll never forget your presentation, and there will be many people diagnosed who would have otherwise slipped through the cracks.

congratulations! that is awesome!!

i did a speech for class once about celiac and everyone was pretty out of the loop, but they asked questions and it feels good to make people more aware. one person in my class even said their mom had it! we exchanged banana bread recipes and best stores for gluten-free food :)

I did a presentation on Celiac disease/gluten intolerance for my Anatomy and Pysiology class. A couple of people told me that it was very interesting and they learned a lot. One girl told me that some people in her family had it. That is great that a bunch of soon to be doctors will now know more about Celiac disease.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
