Catch up show tomorrow @ 9PM EST!

I am soooooooo Sorry to hear this! :(

Where are you?

In Australia

It's ok, we're used to getting shows late and avoiding all the spoilers we can. It just sucks because I love the show so much! We were lucky enough to be in the US when it started airing in 2004 so that's when I got hooked too, and when we got back to Australia we had to wait and wait and wait.

G'day to you then!

Did the season just end for you?

On a non-spoiler nome, I swear that Ethan has a son in my daughter's pre-k class. I walk past this guy every morning (the dad - Ethan I swear), he's about 8' tall and is the spitting image of William Mapother. I keep waiting for him to pick me up by my neck and bang me against the wall! Where's super Jack when you need him?

G'day!

Season 2 ended about 2 months ago here.

That's like 7 months to wait! That's cruel!

I wouldn't be able to not visit the boards and ruin it for myself. The summer hiatus is bad enough, and that's only about 4 mos. for us.

Cool blog by the way. I hope you have fun at the gluten-free convention. :)

I can't believe my self-control, but I'm not going to read it! I want to be surprised. I did see Matt Fox on the news today--he said that we're "not going to believe the first 5 minutes".

You don't even want to "Carla" it? :P

I read it(spoiler), and I can't believe it!

LMAO at Sawyer and the fish biscuit!

Mellie Newbie

I'm SO excited lost is back on!!! :) I think it was pretty good...a little slow moving sometimes for a season premier maybe? But hey it was LOST and I loved it. :) the parts with sawyer in the cage trying to get a fish biscuit were my fave too!!! LOL

ROFLMAO!!!

Please, clue me in .... we used to live out in the country and were too busy driving into town all the time to have cable, so I had never seen this show before last night. I was very LOST!!! What is this supposed to be about? I mean, a guy being held prisoner under an aquarium ... other prisoners being treated like laboratory animals ... what's the idea behind the show?

This is one show where there really is no catching up! It has so many twists and subplots that to catch up you need to rent the Season 1&2 dvds. You would love it!

A little slow, but watching Matthew Fox make those twisted/tormented faces makes me laugh at innappropriate times. That character is a nut job!

I really liked the opening episode.

Don't want to give anything away to anyone who didn't see it so don't read below**************

Ben is creepy.

And the blonde, the one working with Charlie, have we seen her before?? She looks familiar

She was on ER for a while. I think she was a lesbian shrink. (I'm not kidding). She was hooked up to Dr. Weaver (the gimp) for a while.

 Richard.

I remember her from ER .

For some reason I thought she was Desmond's girl friend we saw in the flash back episodes last season.

L :blink: KS like things are going to get interesting!

Ok, this week, I took a peek

It will be good to get back to the "regulars" back on the beach--last week was interesting, though.

Henry Gale/Ben has a pointy little face. He scares me a little

OMG, I missed half of the show last night! My daughter decided to throw up at about 9:15 and i was cleaning up until about 9:40 :( . I usually tape it, but when I got back to the tv the tape must have ended because it had been spit out of the vcr...gotta get TiVo <_<

Olivia is feeling much better today, now if I could only get in my "way back machine" and see what i missed :P

jerseyangel Proficient

Poor Olivia :( Glad she's feeling better today.

They told the story of Sun and how she had the affair--we saw some of it last year. Her father caught the two of them together and ordered Jin to kill him. Jin warned him, but didn't kill him--but the guy jumped out the window with the necklace he had offered Sun in his hand. Guess he really loved her...

Sawyer and Kate were made to work in the rockpile all day--Sawyer kissed Kate, and was shocked by the guard for it. The female guard called Sawyer by his real first name--James.

Pointy face introduced himself "properly" to Jack. Said he's lived there all of his life (!) And if Jack cooperates, he will take Jack home.

You saw the end, right--where Sun was on the boat and Colleen and the others came on?

Way Back Machine

CarlaB Enthusiast

I watched it again last night ... the second show I've seen. So, did all these people end up on this island from the same plane crash? I know, basic question, the other story lines are a bit easier to pick up on.

I was diagnosed with coeliac disease a couple of years ago [ish]. I love my food and a variety of food, so it's been hard, as it is with everyone. I try and ensure everything I eat doesn't contain gluten, but occasionally I think something must have got through that has gluten in. Mainly I know because I have to dash to the loo, but recently I have noticed that I feel nauseous after possibly being glutened. I think the thing that I have got better at is knowing what to do when I feel wiped out after a gluten 'episode'. I drink loads of water, and have just started drinking peppermint tea. I also have rehydration powders to drink. I don't feel like eating much, but eventually feel like I need to eat. Gluten free flapjacks, or gluten free cereal, or a small gluten free kids meal are my go to. I am retired, so luckily I can rest, sometimes even going to bed when nothing else works. So I feel that I am getting better at knowing how to try and get back on track. I am also trying to stick to a simpler menu and eat mostly at home so that I can be more confident about what I am eating. THANKS TO THOSE WHO REPLIED ABOUT THE NAUSEA .

Thanks. Since the back and forth and promises of review and general stalling went on for more than six months, the credit company will no longer investigate. They have a cutoff of maybe six months.

Is this the same restaurant? https://www.facebook.com/TheHappyTartFallsChurch/ Is it too late to take this up with your credit card company? Normally you have a few months to do a chargeback with them. It seems very odd that they are taking this approach with someone who is likely to be a regular customer--not a good business-minded way of handling things!

Many people with celiac disease, especially those who are in the 0-2 year range of their recovery, have additional food intolerance issues which could be temporary. To figure this out you may need to keep a food diary and do an elimination diet over a few months. Some common food intolerance issues are dairy/casein, eggs, corn, oats, and soy. The good news is that after your gut heals (for most people who are 100% gluten-free this will take several months to two years) you may be able to slowly add some these items back into your diet after the damaged villi heal. This article may be helpful: The most common nutrient deficiencies associated with celiac disease that may lead to testing for the condition include iron, vitamin D, folate (vitamin B9), vitamin B12, calcium, zinc, and magnesium.  Unfortunately many doctors, including my own doctor at the time, don't do extensive follow up testing for a broad range of nutrient deficiencies, nor recommend that those just diagnosed with celiac disease take a broad spectrum vitamin/mineral supplement, which would greatly benefit most, if not all, newly diagnosed celiacs. Because of this it took me decades to overcome a few long-standing issues I had that were associated with gluten ataxia, for example numbness and tingling in my feet, and muscle knots--especially in my shoulders an neck. Only long term extensive supplementation has helped me to resolve these issues.
