My 93 year old Uncle and second Dad has a original Swedish log cabin in the Hocking Hills.

I spent many wonderful holidays and summer vacations there. Loved to hike in the H Hills.

You'll love it.

Where do you actually live?

Should be beautiful this time of year

have fun.

Thought you guys would get a chuckle out of this......so I'm at the grocery store just now, the same one where the lunchmeat conundrum occured last week. While I was at the service desk that day, a woman asked the young man behind the counter where she could find wheat germ. He kinda gave her one of these  and said he'd ask someone. I told her it was most likely near the oatmeal. Ok, everyone's happy.

So today, I'm walking with me cart, and a woman going the opposite way says to me--"do you happen to know where barley would be?" :o:o (!)

I mean....what are the chances?

Well, I can always count on Uncle ray to have his funny on!!!!!!

Two nuns, Sister Catherine and Sister Helen, are traveling through Europe

in their car.

They get to Transylvania and are stopped at a traffic light.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a tiny little Dracula jumps onto the hood of the

car and hisses at them through th e windshield.

'Quick, quick!' shouts Sister Catherine. 'What shall we do?'

'Turn the windshield wipers on. That will get rid of the abomination,' says

Sister Helen.

Sister Catherine switches them on, knocking Dracula about, but he clings on

and continues hissing at the nuns.

What shall I do now?' she shouts.

'Switch on the windshield washer.

I filled it up with Holy Water at the Vatican ,' says Sister Helen.

Sister Catherine turns on the windshield washer.

Dracula screams as the water burns his skin, but he clings on and continues

hissing at the nuns.

'Now what?' shouts Sister Catherine.

'Show him your cross,' says Sister Helen.

'Now you're talking,' says Sister Catherine. She opens the window and

shouts, 'Get the f*&ck off the car!'

Was the card itself lost or just the record or both?
    • Francis M
We were flabergasted that the owner would not acknowledge a $50 e-gift card I purchased for my celiac wife. My wife tried to open it in the store and was informed there had been a system change and they could not find the record. No worries, she was told, just talk to management. Six months later, and numerous absurd back and forths, and the owner literally informs me there have been "bad actors", so she can't make good on this lost gift card. In other words, she accused me of lying and committing fraud... over $50! Please be careful with your orders and purchases here.

Yes, some people do get withdrawal from gluten but gluten withdrawal doesn't usually cause gut pain. Maybe more like general body aches and discomfort. We have articles on gluten withdrawal on this forum. You might do a search for them. Applesauce is very acidic and some brands have added vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which makes them more acidic. This can damage the stomach lining if you eat it too often. Especially if your stomach lining is already compromised. Ibuprofen inhibits the body's ability to rebuild the stomach's protective mucosal lining. That's why it can cause peptic ulcers. As strange as it may sound, low level irritation/inflammation stimulates the body to rebuild the stomach lining. There are two steps in this rebuilding process known as COX 1 and COX 2. Ibuprofen represses both COX 1 and COX 2. Celecoxcib, a prescription anti inflammatory, inhibits only COX 2, making it less likely to cause damage to the gut lining.

Do you or anyone know alot about ibuprofen  I wasn't sure if I was eating too much apple sauce.   Something is making my pain so much worse  I'm referring to the intense pins and needles in my feet and lower legs.  Jaw actually has tardive dystonia and muscle spasms throughout my back Almost like an opposite effect that a pain reliever would do. I'm fairly new to this. Whatever is going on seems to be worsening  Do people get a withdrawal effect from gluten?  It's extremely painful 😖  I'll post that question or research on the site  Thank you everyone for responding
