So I read a post or two after Peoter's link . . . do you know who what who we haven't talked about in a while? Sven!!!! That's why we haven't seen a whole lot of Nik . . . she's spending all her time with Sven!!!

Speaking of Nik . . . She's missed it, it's already tomorrow for her so I will have to say it for us before the clock strikes midnight. . .

Looks like my subjects were having a Royal good time whilst I was re-watching the Cars movie in anticipation of seeing Cars2.

Hello Dear Psillies,

Just popping in to say hello. Biopsy was benign but confirmed CLL. Still in the watch & wait stage. Now I have a Sinus Infection. At least the CLL explains why I get sick and fatigued so easily and so frequently

Not pheeling too psilly right now but your posts always leave me smiling.

Missing you all! Off to bed!.

None of us had, or to this day has, any idea. That is the absolutely heelarryus part. No idea. There it was, lying on one of the seats after we'd drained the tub. :lol: :lol:

..and now adding swimbling into the mix as I seem to have entered an Aquathlon (Sven wants me to do this in prep for doing a Tri-athlon)

Nic- I wonder what would happen if she had to sit quietly for 1/2 hour? She would probably spend the quiet time planning some new feat of physical prowess!

New Princess - We saw something of the visit on the news last night. My hub pointed out that half the time the Prince wasn't in the shot & when he was, we weren't looking at him. He said be a Prince & Princess looks like it is a tough job (really, not joking).

I'm not sure I'd take her on even in daylight. Although Jyess did survive the encounter - BUT it was in a rather public place!!!

Hub and I have never stopped conversation when entering the room - more likely aroused it :o Now, conversation can be good or bad.......:P

He got that right!!! Just imagine always having to put your best phace phorward at all times, the appropriate word or smile, the gracious gesture, no inappropriate parts showing, no equipment failures, My God, the list is endless. Not even chipped nail polish,,,,, :rolleyes: - I could nae survive it even if I did have a team helping me :D

Whoa.... 'twould be a pheat phor aknee age.

I grew my first batch of carrots! They actually grown! I've planted them so many times before but they had never grown into real full sixed carrot flavored carrots!

(yes, 'tis worthy of all three "!" my life is that exciting.)

I am covered in bruises from helping a friend move furniture. Most from a fall off the moving van ramp whilst trying to push up a china cabinet. Fortunately my friend was able to keep the cabinet from falling on top of me, and we didn't even break any of the glass walls.

Today gonna go get concrete blocks to put around the new chicken coop. I need to learn to do things that involve easy things, like embroidery or sump'n.

That sounds great. I canna grow carrots here 'cause there are too many wild bunnies around, and they seem to be able to get into any type of metal covering I construct. They eat my flowers, too.

Absolutely adorable, but big pests.

.. . . . Wonder if Manna's in-laws could keep them away?. . . . .. . .

Cleaning the carpet. The oldest caught a stomach bug a few days ago and there

was spillage. Why can't an 18 year old, who is not drunk, make it 20 feet to the bathroom? On a happy note, it forced him to do a bit, only a bit, of cleaning of his room.

Next time he's sick, it's off to Manna's in- laws!

It sounds like these people are gonna come in handy. D'ya think I can get them to carry my chickens in to the coop for me? I haven't figured out the logistics of that part.

Try and get them to sleep out there, too. Perhaps somewhat more appealing than a bathtub.. . . . ..

I need to go to the pet food store to get more food for Bo, but to do that I need to unload the bricks from my truck, but to do that I need to shovel the rest of the sand out of my wheel barrow.

I had a brief (15 min) nap and a cup of coffee. Now I just need motivation.

The only thing slightly less pleasant than a bruised hip, is lying on that hip under a chicken coop while positioning 10 pound concrete blocks. Add to that 'while lying in nettles' and it pretty much adds up to something I don't care to do again. :blink:

Just send him to them AFTER they visit me please! The last thing I need is to be sick while moving or to have sick (and therefore twice as grumpy) IL's helping me move! Although, good luck trying to get them to take him in. We visited once while we were still dating and I came down with a bad cold---MIL caught it after we left and she told her son (My hubby now) that he better NEVER bring me there again... if I'm sick....

Yeah, she paused like she meant to say never bring me there again and then added the sick part. She said that's the sickest she's ever been. :rolleyes:

On the subject of not making it to the toilet despite being sober I have been there many a time I'm afraid. When my body decides to ahem :unsure: "toss cookies" I just toss them violently no mater where I am. I don't always make it to the toilet or trash. :blink: I hafta keep a bucket next to me when I'm really sick. Hope your son feels better soon!

      I seem to recall that my digestive issues actually started when I was taking NSAIDs c. February 2013 for some unrelated condition.  My stomach got so sore during that time I went to see my GP and she thought it might be an ulcer or gastritis so prescribed me Omeprazole.  That appeared to trigger diarrhea which, once I came off the Omeprazole, did not stop.  I went back to the doctors after a few weeks, and that finally led to my coeliac diagnosis, after months of unexplained neurological symptoms, low ferritin and anxiety,which did not seem to have a cause but of course we later realised was all down to coeliac disease. I occasionally take a very small aspirin for a sick migraine which sometimes only responds to aspirin, but it usually leaves me with sore stomach a few days later. I've been told co-codamol is another medication I could take with a sensitive stomach. I was once prescribed it, to use for just a few days. It is not an NSAID, but it contains codeine, which I understand can be addictive so should be used with care.  It can also cause constipation.

      I also take Paracetamol. I haven't taken an NSAID in years since being diagnosed with UC. The can cause UC flares.

      Welcome to the forum, @jessysgems! How does this affect you? What do you do to address it. Do you have to get up and consume something sweet?

      She used to take supplements, but her abdominal pain is so debilitating that she hasn't been able to continue.  Her primary care team has been suggesting liquid supplements rather than pill form to help.  They just drew a lot of blood Friday and we are slowly getting all that work back.  I will definitely check into thiamine!  Thanks!
