Cooper, the dog, went to visit my mom yesterday. She really liked seeing him. He went in & put his head over her lap & greeted her before he greeted my dad. He always favors my dad as he is the one that feeds & walks him when they dog- sit. We went out to the lobby area to sit & he walked by my Mom's chair & lay down part of the time by her feet. She kept saying, " He usually favors your dad. Why is he paying so much attention to me?". He was quite a hit with the male nurses, too. I think he really cheered her up.

Well, I am not used to eating rich food (not that I pigged out ) but had the most disturbed sleep what with aftershocks and indigestion, and the DREAMS!

well, no earthquakes, but I also slept poorly. Had a storm blow through and took out the power for a couple hours so I used the opportunity to have a wee nap on the couch.

I started reading my new David Baldacchi hair-raiser - hub knows what to get me I live such a dull life I love to read about the craziness and gore that I could be surrounded with, but am not (Well, except for the detestable creep who raped a five-year-old tourist little girl from Belgium - where do these creeps crawl out from??) And at Christmas, no less!!! A pox on all paedophiles!!! And a life sentence, except New Zealand does not do that - we are too enlightened

Just chillin' in front of the TV, crossword puzzle, leftovers, and now getting ready to cuddle up with a book.

Oh....and the best part......hit the after Christmas sales this morning with a few gift cards

Christmas never fails to stress me out, even though I have greatly reduced my expectations of myself, so I'm always glad when it's over. Only bought a few gifts for family......nothing for each other.No big dinner...just munchies.

This Christmas was extra special, though, with little Lexi, just turned 2....her first Christmas that she can really express herself. We got her a tricycle and wrapped it up. When she saw the big present she put her widdle hands to her cheeks and said "Oh my!". And when she opened it she danced around shouting "A cycle! A cycle!"

Doesn't get much better than that

Well, I'm late to the party but wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays.

Just got back from Florida tonight (Christmas at my MIL's). Our drama consisted of me mailing almost all of our gifts for the kids to FL ahead of time because it would be too hard to take everything on the plane. The package was suppose to arrive on the 19th of December. It showed up about 3pm on the 24th. Gah!!!

We had a great holiday and fun to watch the 9 year old and 2 year old enjoy Santa. The nine year old is waaaaayyyy to smart to give up her notion of Santa.

FIRST Robotics season has started! It is a basketball type of game, so that part will be easy to understand. They were given an XBox with a Kinect that they can use for part of the game. I'm glad I don't have to figure all this out!
