Just get her one with a lock on the outside.

One of my nieces hooked up with a retired guy with a boat for a couple of years. Sailed the southern seas, she ran her business from the boat. Every now and then they moored at an island with an airport and she would fly off on a sales trip for a week or two. Eventually she felt too confined (Jane's an action kind of gal) and decided she was reading too many books - heck, there wasn't even a miter saw on the boat :o

Well.....let's look at the bright side.Psillyville has been a little tumbleweedy, lately. I'm sure her move will provide lots of interesting stories. You might even want to start a book, Em.Ummmm.......isn't there somebody who should be warned, though? Do you have, like, a National Guard or sumphin' up there in Canada?.....the highway patrol?.......Homeland security?........Royal Mounties?........

The Ottawa Police will be getting a new chief soon. It's political. Perhaps the new chief will need a special briefing. (The current chief has been appointed to a seat in the Senate of Canada.)

Peg-Leg Pete?:lol::lol:

My legs are all genuine, even if the middle one doesn't work as well as it once did.

How about #2 ? Its' short and concise and to the point. Unless of course there was a 1 and a 1/2 we don't know about. Or a .5 before #1. Hmmm, getting into fractions and decimal points, scary stuff! :D

I like the idea of a pair. I'm always misplacing things and an extra is good to have around.

Did I really want to know this about POeter? I guess it's only fair if you consider what he has probably read about us

Oh but they're using titanium for prosthetics now! Much more durable :P

Wow......POeter could be a new version of the Bionic Man!

Hah! When I saw that DC had posted I was sure he was here to contribute to POeter's dilemma. He must get e-mail alerts when the testosterone level (albeit minimal, and I'm only saying that because Peter started it) in Psillyville rises *snicker*

Would a titanium one still 'rise'??

Lisa Mentor

Titanium ( /taɪˈteɪniəm/ ty-tay-nee-əm) is a chemical element with the symbol Ti and atomic number 22. It has a low density and is a strong, lustrous, corrosion-resistant (including sea water, aqua regia and chlorine) transition metal with a silver color.

Sounds like a good choice!

We could get Kerreign's son to work on that!

At least there would be no risk of splinters

Hmmm, well, no I didn't want to"contribute" to the Peopter's dilemma. Not sure how I would actually, or would want to. I certainly haven't beeng getting notifications on the daily status though, again not sure I would want to.:ph34r:

Unless you meant "contribute" in the sense of helping? Oh well then...

Lets see, Crayon has some handy robot building chilruns around. They could prolly whip up sumthin. Prolly get an "A" in the competition too. Yeah, that's it, Crayon can help!

Well, we did get a rise from DC  Monitoring system intact

Hmmmm. .. ..then there's fibreglass......

Fiberglass (also called glass-reinforced plastic, GRPOpen Original Shared Link, glass-fiber reinforced plastic, or GFRPOpen Original Shared Link), is a Open Original Shared Link made of a Open Original Shared Link matrix reinforced by fine Open Original Shared Link

Fiberglass is a lightweight, extremely strong, and robust material. Although strength properties are somewhat lower than Open Original Shared Link and it is less stiff, the material is typically far less brittle, and the raw materials are much less expensive. Its bulk strength and weight properties are also very favorable when compared to metals, and it can be easily formed using molding processes.

Common uses of fiber glass include boats, automobiles, baths, hot tubs, water tanks, roofing, pipes, cladding and external door skins. A less common application would be in the production of prosthetic penii.

Could be a winner, here.......strong, robust.....less stiff but less brittle........cheaper... . . .lightweight.....can be easily formed using a molding process..... .. ....

My oldest was giving lessons on hydraulics to a robotics team. Maybe titanium with a hydraulic ( compressed air) lift? If he needs a project for his mechanical engineering class, I'll have him consult with everyone here. ;)

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?

Thankyou so much for your words. Its a hard battle when a supposed well known hospital whose celiac " specialist " has down played me because my colon looks fine and put it in my medical and so pcp doesn't take seriously. In their eyes we all carry that gene.Im having alot of bad days trying to be positive because of it.
