HEY!!!!.........didn't anybody like my 'Mom Song' video?.........harrumph!

I liked it- getting bev'd hurt; doesn't it? :P:lol:

I was worried all night about my boobs....

The Weezel is disquieted when we arise before 7 (usually it's more like 8 and into work at 9-ish) and so - she stays in my bed having a lay-in sleep-in, eyes squinty and tired and a bit confused looking that mommy is up, she observes all of this from her snug little Weezel-bug position on me bed

Susie worrying about er boobs  Angus does the same thing if I get up too early.

Susan, don't get fake boobs! My sister did .... had problems and had to have them taken out and left her even smaller .... stupid enough to have it done again years later .... same problem .... I think she'll be left concave this time .... is there such a thing as a -A cup?

Oh no........concave boobs- what would you do? Susie- better get DDD just in case.

Nik-Nik.....I'm phurkin' mad about yer boiler, too! 'Tis outrageous to have to go through this! What IS the matter wif them pee-poles!?!

I remember Bozo the Clown. Used to be a real putdown to call someone a Bozo

Don't remember the other shows tho'....guess I'm too old. Then again, we didn't watch much TV. Where I grew up cable is STILL not available...too far out in the sticks. My poor son couldn't have cable tv...oh the shame of it :P

My geetar days....hmmmm....started with wanting a gee-tar when I was about 9 or 10. Wanted it so bad...more than anything. Santa got cornfussed and gave on to my younger brother  , but I kind of commandeered it and taught myself basic stuff :)

My cousin played a single in local clubs, and talked me into working with him when I was 18. (remember...drinking was legal at 18 then....cept I didn't like to drink). The bad part was that the gigs were in some pretty bad dives....there are some stories there! I met a lot of local musicians, including my ex husband. I worked with one group about 6 years....Blended Whiskey Band. We all had day jobs, rehearsed 1 or 2 nights, played anywhere from 2 - 4 gigs most weekends. Best part of that was we pretty much did private gigs, or for the better clubs. I did sit in with some of the other locals, and sometimes went to Sunday jams. I have lots of fond memories!

My son grew up with this stuff. Wouldn't you know he composes and records music! Hope he's successful. I really, really miss making music with a group. I sang in choir in church, too. We haven't yet found a church here that we are comfortable with....and I work most weekends. Hoping to find an outlet for my musik-lust!

So! That's the basic story, with lots of untold sub-stories.

My greetar days....hmmmm....

You're a Wal-Mart greeter??? You're a little young for that, ain't cha??

Tareeeesah!! The wonderful, bohemian twists and turns of yer life! I wanted to be in my big brother's band SOOO badly as a teenager. . ...... ..I can sing dutifully, and I struggle along on piano playing mostly by ear. But Nooo-ooo-oo-ooo.....never good enough..... . . .

I so clearly remember as a skinny twelve-year old, lip-synching along to to Abba's Greatest Hits in front of my bedroom mirror, wishing intently that Bjorn would fly over to Canada and discover me . . .. ..

Instead... ........ .I always ended up in the corner with Mr. Don't Bee.

Nikerler! What in hell is going in your country with boliers?? Don't any of you blokes know how to construct and install a furnace?:lol:

Maybe Em's dad can come along in full military garb?

:lol: Yep, whatever ya need him to be - - Mexican Firing Squad Commander, Italian Opera Singer, Mother Theresa, Cyclops, Barbra Streisand. . . . ......

Not sure if I knew about Dad on Wiki. TOO PHUNEE!

Hope your son makes a go of it in the music world :)

Jess, some of the same people who created Electric Company were behind 321 Contact and I think one aired right after the other (not totally fresh in my mind)

And I watched ZOOM with my eldest niece just 6/7 years ago, so it must have ran for YEARS.

Oh Bevel, what hath thou donest?!?!?! I am now watching The Tudors

Hello, I just wanted to share with the frustration of skin issues and seeing dermatologist and medications not working for years, I did my own healing experiment. As of last week I have been taking a drop internally under the tongue of Vetiver and putting on topically on sores Yellow/Pom.I am seeing a extreme difference at a rapid time.Im also noticing my nails a little harder. Ive always been into natural properties because I feel its safer for the body.I know short time, but really seeing a difference. I also feel the the trapped gases that causes bloating helps break down as well.Curious if any body else can benefit from and has tried. Products is made by Doterra by Dr Hill

We have a category of articles on this topic if you really want to dive into it: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/miscellaneous-information-on-celiac-disease/gluten-free-diet-celiac-disease-amp-codex-alimentarius-wheat-starch/

I agree with @trents, and the rash you described, especially its location and resistance to steroids, sounds highly characteristic of dermatitis herpetiformis, which is the skin manifestation of celiac disease. The severe and prolonged reaction you're describing five days after a small exposure is, while extreme, not unheard of for those with a high sensitivity; the systemic inflammatory response can absolutely last for several days or even weeks, explaining why you still don't feel right. Your plan to avoid a formal gluten challenge is completely understandable given the severity of your reactions, and many choose the same path for their well-being. While experiences with GliadinX (they are a sponsor here) are mixed, some people do report a reduction in the severity of their symptoms when taken with accidental gluten, though it is crucial to remember it is not a cure or a license to eat gluten and its effectiveness can vary from person to person. For now, the absolute best advice is to continue being hyper-vigilant about cross-contamination—buffets are notoriously high-risk, even with good intentions. Connecting with a gastroenterologist and a dermatologist who specialize in celiac disease is essential for navigating diagnosis and management moving forward. Wishing you a swift recovery from this last exposure. If you have DH you will likely also want to avoid iodine, which is common in seafoods and dairy products, as it can exacerbate symptoms in some people. This article may also be helpful as it offers various ways to relieve the itch:

So just to be cautious, there is a big difference between cured, and responding to their medication. I assume you mean that your daughter responded well while taking KAN-101 during the trial, but the drug would not cure celiac disease, but may manage it while you are taking it. Let me know if I got this right.

Welcome to the forum, @Godfather! "Gluten-free" is not the same as zero gluten. The FDA standard for allowing the food industry to us the gluten-free label on a product is that it cannot exceed 20 ppm of gluten. That is safe for most celiacs but not for the subset of celiacs/gltuen sensitive people who are super sensitive. "Gluten-free" wheat starch products have been processed in such a way to remove enough of the protein gluten to comply with the FDA regulation but usually do retain some gluten and we usually get reports from some people on this forum who fall in the more sensitive range that such products cause them to react. Hope this helps. So, you may just have to experiment for yourself.
