Jess,

I can definately relate to your being nervous about not feeling well on your wedding day! I just know that you're going to be fine, and it's going to be a perfect day for you :)

Wow--it's really approaching fast, isn't it? Just enjoy every minute, because it all goes by so quickly. ;):D

And, after the honeymoon, we will need to see pictures.....

As you count the days, take a deep breath every morning. Jess, don't get sooo caught up in the plans that you don't enjoy the count down.

When, after you are married and you turn to face your family and friends.............look around and SEE those family and friends. It will be imbedded in your mind.

And remember to eat something before your wedding. There will be soooo many people comming up to you with good wishes, that you may not even get to the food table. (Yeah, who wants to eat before you put on your wedding dress). Make sure that you maid of honor, brings food to you. Important.!!

Best wished to you and you new hubby :)

Happy wishes, Lisa

Welcome to the forum, @yellowstone! The most common ones seem to be dairy (casein), oats, eggs, soy and corn. "Formed" meat products (because of the "meat glue" used to hold their shape) is a problem for some. But it can be almost anything on an individual basis as your sensitivity to rice proves, since rice is uncommonly a "cross reactor" for celiacs. Some celiacs seem to not do well with any cereal grains.

What foods can trigger a response in people with gluten sensitivity? I've read that there are foods that, although they don't contain gluten, can cause problems for people with gluten sensitivity because they contain proteins similar to gluten that trigger a response in the body. I've seen that other cereals are included: corn, rice... also chicken, casein. I would like to know what other foods can cause this reaction, and if you have more information on the subject, I would like to know about it. Right now, I react very badly to rice and corn. Thank you.
