My husband is thinking the same thing lately. He will have 20 yrs in what he is doing now. He will get some retirement if he retires in auguast. But he is unsure what he wants to go into. He is only 40 years old, so he has many options. He is too grumpy working now and it is affecting us all. He is just worrying about getting a new job and insurance, with me and his son being celiac. I always tell him he can retire and i can work but im not well enough to work full time yet.

We use to talk about taking over the farm that we have, but now that I am celiac and so is his son, We can not take over the farm.

Oregan is such an beautiful state, i bet it is easy to take beautiful pics up there.

Yah, my wife doesn't qualify for early retirement until 2013, another 6 years...she works at the same company. At that time we will likely leave and never look back. With me it is not the work I do that is the problem. I need to feel valued, not like a piece of meat, and if I feel my company doesn't treat it's employees well, that bothers me. I've seen 25+ year employees let go and their job sent to China or India. IMO, there isn't much worse corporate behavior than that. Plus, it's the loss of much knowledge and experience just to save a $$. Don't get me wrong, I have as much vested interest in seeing my company be successful as anyone, I just don't like the human cost. In our society, greed is king, sometimes to sickening levels. I think you can put a custom phrase under your stats on the left of your posts - rather than Advanced Community Member, or whatever is there now.

Not sure what else. Maybe we should create a list of demands. :D

Yes, I think that 500 posts is a milestone worth really celebrating. We could have a Fortune 500 party...only those at 500 posts can come. :lol:

Wow, Emily forgot all about that third-person thing with Jerry...Maybe something REALLY magical will happen if I'm talking in the third person singular when I hit 500 posts!

Carla is so glad Emily finally remembered. Carla also can't wait until Jerry starts talking in the third person OUTSIDE of the forum and has to explain to his real friends that this is how Jerry talks to his internet friends ... they already think Jerry's nuts for eating gluten-free!

      Thank you so much for sharing your experience and I found myself giggling with happiness as I read how your body reached such spring! And I hope that your current journey is also successful!! Definitely starting the food diary! So many amazing advices. And it’s very scary. It really hits all our soft spots as well as our confidence system. Most doctors I went thought I was underage despite being in my late 20s. Right now I look like am I twelve, but is also this body that’s taking so much, so I might as well love it too! Going to make the necessary changes and stay in this path. Thank you again! 🫶

      Thank you so much for the information and kind message! Reading this transformed how I’ve been viewing my efforts and progress. Guess there’s still a lot to celebrate and also heal 😌  Yes, I’ve been taking it! Just recently started taking a multivitamin supplement and separated vitamin D! I also took chewable Iron polymaltose for ferritin deficiency 2 months ago but was unable to absorb any of it.  Thank you again! Hearing such gentle words from the community makes my body and heart more patient and excited for the future.
