It's gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free and I really want to try it  , but I can't find it anywhere. Has anyone tried it? Is it good?

How ironic! I was JUST going out to buy some in a few minutes! I saw it a few days ago in Whole Foods, but they only had the peach version. I don't care for peach much, and I wasn't sure if it was gluten free, so I went home and looked it up on the computer. I'm going back today in hopes that they'll have the blueberry or strawberry version! It'll be nice because I don't feel that confident in my "Whole Soy" yogurt cups...I hear that with hormone problems, soy isn't the best for ya. So I'm excited to test this out!

 Cool. I will look forward to your review of the product if you end up trying it :)

ooo... maybe they'll put out a plain that doesn't have so much sugar (but also doesn't have artificial sweeteners) soon.

This looks great--if it didn't contain tapioca, I'd be all over it. I miss yogurt!

Okay, so I took that drive down to whole foods and to my surprise, they were already sold out of Ricera yogurt :( AND to top it all off...it's back-ordered for the whole west coast :( They didn't know that it was going to be so popular! The nice man that was working the dairy section told me that they aren't back ordered on the east coast, so all of you over there are lucky :) But here in California, he said we're going to have to wait QUITE a while until we get a hold of some. Bummer. You all have to get your hands on some and tell me how it is!

Bummer, but thanks for posting that info. I'm in California too, so I'll stop wasting my time trying to find it for a while :). Who would have thought rice yogurt would be that popular

Thanks for posting that. UNFORTUNATELY I have a diagnosed allergy to cane sugar (evaporated cane juice) which they use in all their flavors. Nevertheless I wrote to them and requested that they consider making an unsweetened variety. I MISS YOGURT, which I gave up 3 years ago after my dairy/casein allergy diagnosis. SIGH

I tried a rice yogurt which I purchased at Whole Foods (east coast). I can't remember if it was Ricera brand. It was just okay in my opinion.

As an aside, I recently have found that although I can't tolerate products made from cow milk, I do fine with ones made from goat and sheep milk. I'm not sure why, but someone mentioned to me that the proteins are different enough between cow and goat/sheep milk that it is possible to react to one but not the other.

Okay so the rice yogurt finally appeared in my health food store..

First I tried the vanilla flavor. It has a chunky, gelatin-like consistancy and, well, it's gross. Stay away from that one.

The blueberry and peach flavors are good - creamy, good texture and everything...but reeeally sweet - like 20 grams of sugar in each cup. Too much. Not bad though for the soy and dairy-free ppl really wanting yogurt.

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know the stuff is finally available on the West Coast :) I got it for 1.25/cup at my uber crazy expensive health food store...so not bad I guess for a rare specialty item  LOL Happy yogurt eating :D

I'm glad you enjoyed peach and blueberry....stay away from Strawberry though! It's got that gelatin consistancy that you mentioned! Ugh. I'm too scared to try peach or blueberry after that experience. lol.

We use Ricera to make smoothies....dd won't eat them plain. I was bummed. She loved yogurt before she had to give up dairy, and then liked soy yogurt before she had to give up soy. I was hoping this was the ticket, but as you guys said - weird consistency, way too sweet, and also a strange aftertaste. Oh, well....luckily, anything tastes good whirled around in the blender with enough frozen fruit, lol!

Thanks rmj when I first rang up it was we can't do it without , but I talked to a lovely lady and she sorted it all out for me, so it pays to be persistent , I would have had to decline if I hadn't been given the water option too , so yes I'm glad too 😌

I’m so glad they listened to your concerns!  I hope you get some answers from the MRI.

Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
