I'm Back!

So a lot of people were asking me where i've been and such the last year basically. So today was my last day of junior year in high school (what many say is the hardest year...) so I wasn't around very much...or at all....

But now school is over, I'm headed to Boston to see my Giants take on the Boston Red Sox (and hopefully beat them...) as well as chill with my aunt and uncle in Boston.

Health wise, I may be having surgery to fix my acid reflux. I am still off corn, soy and lactose as of now, but they are trying to get it so I can have at least a few bits of those allergens without getting sick....

But yes, finally done with school and very happy as well :):):)

Oh and in August I am going to the Northern California Celiac camp for 3 days in Livermore with my Teens Against Gluten group and we are planning probably a small conferece for celiac teens for the fall.

thats about it, oh and it's my 17th b-day today :)

Hi Molly!

Only 1 year left in school, I remember that boy did it fly. I remember heading out the door for the first day of my senior year and next thing I knew it was prom and then I was sitting on the stage in my cap and gown. Enjoy your senior year it is filled with fun and stress, :)

It is nice to see you around again. I hope you enjoy your trip to Boston, and heres to the Giant's winning!

i'm back :) for real this time lol.

So yeah boston was a BLAST!! the giants lost, but i met my favorite player's mom and dad and i got like 15 autographs from all the giants players on the pics of me and them, and I got my favorite player to sign the jersey that i got for my b-day (which is his #) and the catcer threw me a ball that i caught, and another player gave me his batting gloves and a bat.

Giants overall have been really fun this season, yeah they are sucking....but on saturday night i fell and re-tore my quad, and i was sitting my the giants clubhouse where i go before games, and barry zito came up and felt really bad for me, and got the trainer and brought me all this food that i had to turn down cause i can't have it, but it was really sweet, and he kept coming out to make sure that i was okay. it was really sweet of him, plus there were so many other people there, and he singled me out and tried to help me.

but yeah i'm probably having stomach surgery for my acid reflux cause it has gotten really bad, but other than that i've been doing well :]

How did you tear your quad? Playing soccer?

I tore mine playing indoor soccer in law school - worst pain I had in a long time. It hurt with every step.

To this day, I still pull that muscle when I play soccer and shoot too hard with that leg.

Hope you feel better and welcome back!

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.
    • Churro
No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
