The ingredients listed in some organic rice cakes I just bought include corn, corn starch, corn oil, sea salt, rosemary, and spices*. Hmm... the asterik makes me a little bit nervous... it says the spices are all organic. Is there still a chance there is gluten? I just started this diet and everything is making me nervous!!

The best way to get an answer on this is to call the company or to enter the name of the rice cakes and the word gluten into a search engine. Also if you tell us the name of the particular rice cake you bought that would help someone here give you better info.

When in doubt...ALWAYS call/email the company. Ingredients are always changing.

A lot of the time the company website will tell you if that particular flavor is gluten-free. It probably is...

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
