Digesting Potatoes....

There for a while a had been eliminating potatoes, eating Palo Diet, but lately I have been adding in potatoes. No particular reason. Well I had one tonight and my stomach is so huge. I look probably six months pregnant. Why? I know they have the toxins wich can cause abdominal gas, but this bad? :unsure: I guess I have learned my lesson. I am miserable now. Does this happen to anyone else?

congrats on eating Paleo. I cannot eat potatoes, except very occasionally...

I also eat mostly Paleo - the best I think.,..

I absolutely LOVE potatoes, but they kill me and I've reluctantly had to give them up. Ultimately, the joy from eating them isn't worth the suffering later.....the very worst combination is potatoes with a protein such as steak. I simply cannot digest them together. Actually, I've decided that pretty much most of the nightshades don't agree with me. No starches agree with me. :(

      You would think any business would see the wisdom of honoring a $50 gift certificate on the basis of customer satisfaction alone, apart from any questions about software glitches.

      When my wife attempted to open the online card in the store with a cashier, it would not work. We then showed the owner the link to the card, the online receipt that I got upon purchase, and even my bank statement confirming the purchase. That did not satisfy her, since she said she needed the link to open to reveal the gift ID num. They even admitted they...

It was very disappointing, esp to my wife, to realize we can't patronize the place anymore.
