Diet

BF- 1 cup gluten-free cereal w 2/% milk and 2 hard boiled eggs

Snack 10am- Protein shake (35g protein) and banana

Lunch- 6oz chicken breast, 1 cup rice pasta (tinkyada) , 1 cup mix veggies

Snack- 2:00pm- protein shake (35g protein)

Snack-4:00pm- another 6oz chocken breast, 1 cup mix veggies (you wont be hungry, but must force it)

Dinner-6:30 or 7pm- 5-6oz steak or fish, 2 cups veggies, cup of brown rice

Its tough to eat this much, but you will be a calorie burning, muscle building machine on this diet.

Look for a protein supp that is gluten free and about 23g protein per scoop. If you arent casein intolerant, try NOW brand. This diet will work and you will have no nutritional defincies as long as you are absorbing all of your nutrients. Enjoy!

thanks for providing this info....

i've tried free samples of the NOW sports protein and it's pretty good, but i also just found Biochem Sports whey protein at my local health food store. the chocolate fudge flavor is really good, and mixes very well with a small amount of almond milk without a blender (just in a shaker). it uses a small scoop, and each scoop is 10 grams of protein. i've easily made 4 scoops with about 6 ounces of liquid and it tastes great. no gluten and no tummy issues that i noticed. check it out...

Also as far as diet goes, a good thing to do is cook your chicken and veggies at the beginning of the week and fill up your fridge with single serving containers. that way you have your lunch and snacks for the week all set. just a tip ;)

i don't know about you all, but i've put on a few pounds since going gluten free in december. i'm doing my best to work out hard so that the nutrition goes to my muscle and NOT to my love handles! never had them before and i don't wanna start having them now!!

"Conclusions: The urinary iodine level was significantly lower in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis, and iodine replacement may be important in preventing osteoporosis"  Body iodine status in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis Low iodine can cause thyroid problems, but Iodine deficiency will not show up in thyroid tests.  Iodine is important for healing, its job is to kill off defective and aging cells (Apoptosis). Skin, brain fog, nails, muscle tone all inproved when I started taking 600 mcg (RDA 150 - 1000 mcg) of Liquid Iodine drops. Some with dermatitis herpetiformis, Iodine exacerbates the rash.  I started at 1 drop (50 mcg) and worked up to 12 drops, but I don't have dermatitis herpetiformis.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and I found myself giggling with happiness as I read how your body reached such spring! And I hope that your current journey is also successful!! Definitely starting the food diary! So many amazing advices. And it’s very scary. It really hits all our soft spots as well as our confidence system. Most doctors I went thought I was underage despite being in my late 20s. Right now I look like am I twelve, but is also this body that’s taking so much, so I might as well love it too! Going to make the necessary changes and stay in this path. Thank you again! 🫶

Thank you so much for the information and kind message! Reading this transformed how I’ve been viewing my efforts and progress. Guess there’s still a lot to celebrate and also heal 😌  Yes, I’ve been taking it! Just recently started taking a multivitamin supplement and separated vitamin D! I also took chewable Iron polymaltose for ferritin deficiency 2 months ago but was unable to absorb any of it.  Thank you again! Hearing such gentle words from the community makes my body and heart more patient and excited for the future.
