Do I Go Soy Free Right Away?

I am new here and would really appretiate any advice. I know I'm lactose and gluten intolerant. I started the gluten free diet one week ago. It is as hard as I remembered it, but the choices are much more numerous than 10yrs ago. My guestion is if I suspect a soy intolerance, should I go soy free now, or weight til I've been on the gluten free diet awhile?

I get a headache when I eat something made with soy flour. Don't know if I have Celiac.

Do you plan on being tested for Celiac? I would say if soy flour gives you a headache, I would avoid it.

No, I can't afford to be tested. I wish I could.

I have limited my soy and am trying to work out gluten free. I am wondering sbout all this talk of cross conatmination. I never though it was a problem. There is so much more information available now than 10 yrs ago that I am a bit confused and overwelmed by it all.

I sure wish *I'd* gone soy-free when I went gluten-free etc.

I did try elimination tests on soy, but even a 1 week test was inconclusive.

It wasn't until I tried a 2week test soy-free that I was sure it was a problem.

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
