A moment ago I logged on to the Internet, clicked favourites, clicked this site BUT,

My user name wasn't on show, there was no 'new posts' option to click !

.

Where before a portion of the posting area was off screen to the right,

now it's all inside the visible window area including the advert side-bars left and right.

.

To find new posts I must go into each catergory and look, then hit back and check the next,

'KINDA FRUSTRATING'.

.

How to I get the display back the way it was ??????????

.

Best Regards,

David

.

P.S. just got into my profile and all the last visitors list are along the right

where they were on the left before !!!!

Is the Log-In/Log-Out button gone as well?

psawyer Proficient

Things have moved around, and there seem to be some problems for some users. I was seeing some funny stuff. I cleared out my entire cache, then exited the browser (I use Firefox) and restarted it. Nothing seems to be missing, but things have moved around.

Cherry Tart Apprentice

DaveyBoy,

I'm having the same problem. I wasn't sure if the issue was on my end or the forum. I can't even find the button to log out so I can refresh and re-enter!

psawyer Proficient

To clear your browser cache:

Internet Explorer:

Click Tools.

Click Delete Browsing History.

The top button says "delete files" next to the words "Temporary Internet Files." Click it.

Firefox:

Click Tools.

Click Options.

Click Advanced.

Click the "Clear Now" button to the right of the cache size.

Peter, thank you, but to no avail.

SCOTT, put it back. (please  )

Phyllis28 Apprentice

My logout button is also still missing. Maybe the earthquake this morning knocked it off the page.

Yup, that must be it. The Forum is California based. A little shake, rattle and roll, huh?

Lisa- I love your humor.

Ok, so where is the logout button??

Scott Adams Grand Master

I see the Log Out button, and the others as well...

Take care,

Hmm, would you give me a hint where it is? I cannot find it and my screen looks really different.

Thanks.

My view new post button is gone too. I can't find the logout button either.

rpf1007 Rookie

scratch that- I found them

Ok, I have a whole new view now and I now have a log out button. Thanks.

Likewise, I see no log out button (or anything that slightly resembles one). I did a delete cookies from this board, which I think logged me out. Closed my window. Opened a new window. Deleted my browsing history. Came back to the forum. Had to log in. Nothing has changed . . . no log in/out button, no view new post button, etc (although, I can get to the new post by clicking on N P as mentioned in Laura's quote).

I'm willing to try any suggestions!

I sent a print screen picture to Scott - I believe he's working on it as we speak. I'm already seeing changes.

Darn210 Enthusiast

OK . . I answered the doorbell, chatted on the front steps, came back, hit post reply (previous post) and now my screen looks different . . . what did you do, Scott??

I just got back after being gone for a couple hours, and everything seems to be back to normal. :) Thanks!

Lisa Mentor

Normal again. :D

home-based-mom Contributor

People keep mentioning "buttons" as in "log out button" or "new post button."

I have *NEVER* had either one. I have only had links.:unsure:

So I gotta ask, WHAT BUTTONS? Am I supposed to be seeing buttons? How come I only see links? Is everybody else special and gets buttons? (snivel) :(

For what it's worth, I'll be happy with links forever if the dang page would load faster. If I were on a dial-up connection I probably would never come in here because I would die of old age waiting for the page to load.

Sigh.

Not normal and I don't like it. Each post is huge and I gotta scroll forever. Any ideas?

When my wife attempted to open the online card in the store with a cashier, it would not work. We then showed the owner the link to the card, the online receipt that I got upon purchase, and even my bank statement confirming the purchase. That did not satisfy her, since she said she needed the link to open to reveal the gift ID num. They even admitted they had a systems problem around that time.

Was the card itself lost or just the record or both?
    • Francis M
We were flabergasted that the owner would not acknowledge a $50 e-gift card I purchased for my celiac wife. My wife tried to open it in the store and was informed there had been a system change and they could not find the record. No worries, she was told, just talk to management. Six months later, and numerous absurd back and forths, and the owner literally informs me there have been "bad actors", so she can't make good on this lost gift card. In other words, she accused me of lying and committing fraud... over $50! Please be careful with your orders and purchases here.

Yes, some people do get withdrawal from gluten but gluten withdrawal doesn't usually cause gut pain. Maybe more like general body aches and discomfort. We have articles on gluten withdrawal on this forum. You might do a search for them. Applesauce is very acidic and some brands have added vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which makes them more acidic. This can damage the stomach lining if you eat it too often. Especially if your stomach lining is already compromised. Ibuprofen inhibits the body's ability to rebuild the stomach's protective mucosal lining. That's why it can cause peptic ulcers. As strange as it may sound, low level irritation/inflammation stimulates the body to rebuild the stomach lining. There are two steps in this rebuilding process known as COX 1 and COX 2. Ibuprofen represses both COX 1 and COX 2. Celecoxcib, a prescription anti inflammatory, inhibits only COX 2, making it less likely to cause damage to the gut lining.

Do you or anyone know alot about ibuprofen  I wasn't sure if I was eating too much apple sauce.   Something is making my pain so much worse  I'm referring to the intense pins and needles in my feet and lower legs.  Jaw actually has tardive dystonia and muscle spasms throughout my back Almost like an opposite effect that a pain reliever would do. I'm fairly new to this. Whatever is going on seems to be worsening  Do people get a withdrawal effect from gluten?  It's extremely painful 😖  I'll post that question or research on the site  Thank you everyone for responding
