They say they are wheat free, so i bought them and my dd loves them.

Then i noticed in smaller print it says "not a gluten free product"

nothing in the ingrediants list suggested issues to me.

what am i missing?

have i glutened my child?

I have looked at that brand a lot in the health food store and I saw the same thing Wheat Free but not Gluten Free. If you want you can list the ingredients so someone can comment on that part.

Pretty much everything I have seen in their line is not gluten free. I don't bother with looking at the ingredients when I see not Gluten Free (I always look though when buying :) ).

I would post the ingredients if you can though so someone can comment on that.

There is a possibility though that your daughter could have been glutened, depending on what the ingredients are. She could have a silent reaction or it may not be hurting here where you see it but it is damaging her still.

Depending on how many days she has been having the item her symptoms may not show for a couple of days.

Good Luck

On our first gluten free shopping trip I bought those too! I was so happy to buy by son "oreo's." We all do things like this, so don't feel bad. I also did it with rice crispy bars. There is a positive side though. Kinnikinnick makes some really great Oreo cookies, called K-Toos, that are GLUTEN FREE. They are a staple at our house. You may be able to find them in a health food store, but if not kinnikinnick has flat rate shipping and plenty of goodies to try! :D

this is my 'cheat' cookie.......safe but still a I'm trying not eat sugar or chocolate. Most other cookie treats like this have soy so out for me. They have these in vanilla too. I like those even better. Kids need some special treats like these and they are very good. ;)

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
