haha thanks so much well ive been trying... I havent gotten through a whole 8oz yet! haha its gonna take me 15 min just to get one class down!

I's going to be ok :)

It's darn unpleasant for sure, but you'll manage to get them down and before you know it the prep will be over. It's most definitely the worst part of the whole thing.

I was terribly nervous before mine, and as awful as the laxative tasted it wasn't as bad as I had feared. I had to do the large jug of "Go Lightly"--I don't know who had the bright idea to name it that <_< .......

Anywhoo--best of luck tomorrow. I slept through mine and woke up feeling fine--like I had just taken a nice nap.

ha-ha ok well I got one glass down.. took 30 min but i did it! haha hopefully thoughout the night Ill take less time! Thanks for your support! I appreciate it.. the stuff could be worse really it taste like lemon and cardboard with a film to it! haha

If it isn't too late, here's what worked for me:

Pour your glass.

Take a breath and hold it

Drink as much as you can while still holding your breath.

BEFORE taking a breath, drink one of the stronger flavored drinks that you are allowed (I used propel).

Breathe again.

For me, it was the smell that made me gag. I found I could get an 8 oz glass down in two rounds described above.

Thank you for the suggestions! well it only took me 10 min to get the 2nd glass down... yeah I still have 6 to go! haha Im gonna be up all night im sure... I take a swig drink water chew gum and drink orange crush then wait 2-3 min and do it again, i get it down in 4 drinks... Ill get there.. Im sick of sittin on the toilet I wanna get this over with!

Tim had great suggestions--I also tried to just plug my nose and drink it down.

They can put a man on the moon......why can't they make this ritual easier???? :P

it was easier for me if i took one gulp and then gulped some water to rinse it down.

hang in there.

i had to skip the last serving because i was gagging so hard it was all i could do to not throw it up!

but the good news is that the potty part isn't painful. just time consuming!! ha!

Hi

This is something I posted a while ago, while it won't make the process any eassier

it shoould bring a smile to your face.

.

People that have gone the Movi-Prep route can relate to this soooo well!

Hi well thank you very much! Well today wasnt as good. I ate chicken, a whole chicken baked at home, with fries baked at home. At lunch I had left over chicken, and of course got a stomach ache just after I ate. All day needed to poop and couldnt Got home and went but still feel a little nacious. I hate my body.. Im sure you all can understand. I just dont feel like eatting anything ever again!

Your system has been through a lot in the last 24 hours. Be gentle with yourself and give it a little more time. :)

The discovery of the vitamin D receptor in multiple immune cell lineages, such as monocytes, dendritic cells, and activated T cells credits vitamin D with a novel role in modulating immunological functions and its subsequent role in the development or prevention of autoimmune diseases.  The Implication of Vitamin D and Autoimmunity: a Comprehensive Review

Definitely get vitamin D 25(OH)D.  Celiac Disease causes vitamin D deficiency and one of the functions of vitamin D is modulating the genes.  While we can survive with low vitamin D as an adaptation to living in a seasonal environment, the homeostasis is 200 nmol/L.  Vitamin D Receptors are found in nearly every cell with a nucleus, while the highest concentrations are in tissues like the intestine, kidney, parathyroid, and bone.  A cellular communication system, if you will. The vitamin D receptor: contemporary genomic approaches reveal new basic and translational insights  Possible Root Causes of Histamine Intolerance. "Low levels of certain nutrients like copper, Vitamins A, B6, and C can lead to histamine build up along with excess or deficient levels of iron. Iodine also plays a crucial role in histamine regulation."

I forgot to mention my suspicion of the high amount of glyphosate allowed to be used on wheat in USA and NZ and Australia. My weight was 69kg mid-2023, I went down to 60kg in March 2024 and now hover around 63kg (just after winter here in NZ) - wheat-free and very low alcohol consumption.

Hi Jess Thanks so much for your response and apologies for the long delay in answering. I think I must have been waiting for something to happen before I replied and unfortunately it fell off the radar... I have had an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy in the meantime (which revealed 'minor' issues only). Yes I do think histamine intolerance is one of the problems. I have been lowering my histamine intake and feeling a lot better. And I do think it is the liver which is giving the pain. I am currently taking zinc (I have had three low zinc tests now), magnesium, B complex, vitamin E and a calcium/Vitamin C mix. I consciously think about getting vitamin D outside. (Maybe I should have my vitamin D re-tested now...) I am still 100% gluten-free. My current thoughts on the cause of the problems is some, if not all, of the following: Genetically low zinc uptake, lack of vitamin D, wine drinking (alcohol/sulphites), covid, immune depletion, gastroparesis, dysbiosis, leaky gut, inability to process certain foods I am so much better than late 2023 so feel very positive 🙂

Hi and thank you very much for your detailed response! I am so glad that the protocol worked so well for you and helped you to get your health back on track. I've heard of it helping other people too. One question I have is how did you maintain your weight on this diet? I really rely on nuts and rice to keep me at a steady weight because I tend to lose weight quickly and am having a hard time envisioning how to make it work, especially when not being able to eat things like nuts and avocados. In case you have any input, woud be great to hear it! Friendly greetings.
