  1. Try Open Original Shared Link. It's been a while so I don't remember exactly where it is but I know there's one there.
  2. Welcome! Hashimoto's, Iron Deficiency and Celiac often go together so a GI (and/or endocrinologist) should be able to manage the iron deficiency. It's quite common for newly diagnosed celiacs to have anemia. The doctor who sent you for the endoscopy sounds like a good starting point for coordination of care.
  3. Here's another article highlighting food deductions but as Tiffany said you'd have to have substaintal medical expenses to exercise the option. https://www.celiac.com/articles/279/1/Tax-D...Only/Page1.html
  4. This is a pretty old article but I don't think the laws have changed. https://www.celiac.com/articles/281/1/Howar...iacs/Page1.html
  5. I use Open Original Shared Link. It's available in the Kosher section of many grocery stores. Enjoy Life also makes gluten, dairy and soy free chocolate.
  6. There is some good info on TSH in here: Open Original Shared Link My Endo thinks that anything above 2 is cause for concern especially if you are exhibiting symptoms. I tend to agree with him.
  7. Imanistj, welcome to the board. We all have different approaches and struggles but we are all in this together!

There is one tiny mention of it here: Open Original Shared Link Pennine Rigate with Marinara Marinara sauce made with a blend of tomatoes, bell peppers, onions and Italian herbs. Served over gluten free penne pasta.
  9. I think it's perfectly natural to want to do this. I did. And I did - about 3 months into my diet. It was pizza. And it was awesome...for all of about 15 minutes. The next 3 weeks are an absolute blur but I learned my lesson and haven't thought about doing it again. I'm certainly not advocating eating gluten but everyone has to arrive at their own pace...
  10. Funny you should mention that one Patti - my system doesn't care for McCormick onion powder and paprika. I don't have any problems with Szeged hot paprika though. I use Costco garlic powder. Coleman's ground mustard is a big no-no for me too. mcphena, my guess is that there isn't a single brand that processes every spice in a dedicated factory. I think...
  11. Happy Birthday fellow Scorpio!
  12. Ravenswood is correct. Generics should be checked at each refill as the inactive ingredients and suppliers can change monthly. The inactive ingredients also vary greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer. This month Walgreens might purchase a generic from one manufacturer who uses corn starch and next month get the
  13. Did you run across their allergen list in your travels? Open Original Shared Link It's pretty dismal. I wouldn't touch anything there but I think I

Can you be more specific about your travel plans? Cities, hotels, etc.?
  15. Welcome! Can you post your question in english? You will get more responses. Google Translator can assist. Open Original Shared Link
  16. Me too. I've never had issues with raw shelled nuts from Trader Joe's. TJs has many varieties and the other day I accidentally picked up the wrong package. When I got home I noticed they were dry roasted and made on the same equiment as wheat and soy - I never really have a positive outcome from stuff made on shared lines so I opted to send them to work...
  17. If you've only used it once I'd try to clean it. I have that machine and the one thing I'd be concerned about is residual dough around the paddles. They are removable and the whole assembly can go through the dishwasher occasionally. The rest of the machine should be pretty easy to clean.
  18. steelersfan, welcome! If you email Open Original Shared Link they will send detailed menus, instructions and the necessary forms. You can also make reservations online: Open Original Shared Link After selecting the restaurant, date and time you'll find a section to add dietary requests (there are check boxes for the top 8 allergens plus gluten). I...
  19. This is the one I use. I made these long before I knew the term gluten-free! Open Original Shared Link
  20. I put down pillows and bedding in the freezer for a day or two to kill dust mites - that might work on smaller items like shoes and nick-nacks.
  21. I like Chebe focaccia mix. It's dairy and soy free. I love Joan's gluten-free great bakes NY style frozen pizza crusts (without toppings) but I don't know if they are dairy free.
  22. Shabati Gourmet has awesome junk food: Open Original Shared Link
  23. Welcome Susan! It sounds like your GI is on the ball. Even if your biopsy is negative there is no harm in continuing with the gluten-free diet if it makes you feel better.
