  1. Richard, that must be a very recent change. I looked at a package in the last 6 months or so and it still had soy sauce.
  2. I had absolutely no problems in Ireland. It's the most celiac friendly country I've visited. gluten-free food is everywhere and everyone you meet knows all about it - even in the smallest towns.
  3. Try these: Open Original Shared Link If you want to make them I am pretty sure the confectioners sugar at Trader Joe's is corn free.
  4. Have you had your thyroid checked? Sometimes that being off can make things much worse.
  5. I have the lodge cast iron pizza pan and LOVE IT. You can certainly have 2 in the oven at the same time.
  6. I like this site. You can find information on all the manufacturers: Open Original Shared Link
  7. I'm pretty sure Galaxy makes a Rice Vegan that is dairy, soy, bean and nut free. It comes is blocks so you could cube it and come up with a 'cheese' plate with fruit, cheese and some kind of crackers. Rice Vegan: INGREDIENTS: ORGANIC RICE BASE (FILTERED WATER, ORGANIC RICE FLOUR), ORGANIC RICE MALTODEXTRIN, RICE BRAN OIL, PEA PROTEIN, CALCIUM &...
  8. It does - it wasn't the answer I wanted unfortunately The is a jarred sauce called 505 there that is gluten-free but it's not hte same as the fresh... Thanks!
  9. I eat Mission Brand. Frito Lay has a few 'gluten free' ones but you'll have to check their website to find the exact ones...
  10. So I'm heading back to Albuquerque and know gluten-free food has come a long way...anyone know where I can get gluten-free green chile?
  11. when all else fails put down landscaping fabric and choke it!
  12. Yep. Delta does stuff like that ALL the time...
  13. Also, I don't see any gluten in NP Thyroid by Acella either: Open Original Shared Link Inactive Ingredients: CALCIUM STEARATE, DEXTROSE MONOHYDRATE, MALTODEXTRIN, MINERAL OIL
  14. Where did you verify that Synthroid contains gluten? I haven't seen anything in this thread that suggests anyone has called the company to confirm. Per Syntroid's website: Open Original Shared Link The ingredients are: Acacia, confectioner's sugar (contains corn starch), lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, povidone, and talc.
  15. The mainstream places that I frequent and generally trust and have good experiences: Legal Sea Food, Outback, PFChangs, Longhorn, BJs, PeiWei, Bonefish, Carabbas, ChickFilA, Five Guys, In N Out. Others that are hit and miss for me (as in I had issues or the staff frustrated me): Bugaboo Creek, Olive Garden, On The Border... There are a lot more - this...
  16. I too shop at Ingles and think they have the best price. I am curious why there is such a HUGE price difference among grocery store chains.
  17. Can you provide a link to the General Mills website?
  18. I am a longtime fan of Kirkman Labs - all of their stuff is high quality and reasonably inexpensive. They take allergens very seriously and it's the only vitamin brand I've never had a problem with (I'm pretty sensitive).
  19. That is such a shame. Hopefully this will turn out to be a rare occurance at their chain.
  20. I've eating the pizza at BJ's several times and had no problems and have never even spoken to a manager during the process. The gluten-free pizza comes out on a triangular plate whereas the regular pizza comes out on rectangular plate. I haven't tried any of the other items on their gluten-free menu. I'd be more inclined to think you got CC from the salad...
  21. I tend to agree. Haven't they always been a little 'reserved' when it comes to saying something is gluten-free or not?
  22. I eat at Carabbas quite often when I travel. I've never really had an issue but I do ask the manager to stop by the table and let them know that I need gluten-free and they can then followup with the kitchen.
  23. I've taken quite a few generic brands of both wtih no issues. Never found one that has gluten in it. Armour is great and I prefer it but over the years the company has had issues keeping up with demand so be prepared to switch back to synthetics occasionally. You can use this database to find all of the ingredients in a particular generic - you just...
  24. I've noticed quite a few small/non-chain restaurants upcharging for gluten-free options such as pasta and sometimes as much as $5 a plate (and often side items are omitted for obvious reasons). I'm not a fan of this policy but don't generally complain about it because at least people are trying but I'm curious how others feel about this and if you say anything...
  25. I always think it's progress when a company introduces a gluten-free menu. If they are doing something wrong let's all try to positively change that so they don't just decide gluten-free isn't worth it. I love Moe's and would love to have them as an option.
