Glutenfreefamily replied to modiddly16's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Frankly I love walmart its so nice to have gluten free on their great value products so I dont have to buy it and then call and find out it has gluten and I can't eat it and Im out the money for it. I would shop at other stores if they took the initiative that walmart has regarding gluten free labeling. -

Glutenfreefamily replied to Glutenfreefamily's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Thanks so much I had no idea there were that many kinds. Dairy free is a new thing for us. Its not due to intolerances, just reading up on bovine leukemia made us want to change. I have to start from scratch for our items since before it was just gluten free. -

Open Original Shared Link The toilet plays soothing music, but can be a little bossy, too. It regulates how many toilet paper squares you can get, and has a time limit. Dally too long, and the door flies open with a siren sound. That would be all I would need during a glutening. Door flies open, siren goes off, and they limit you on toilet paper... -

ARCHIVED Red Sauce For Pasta Dishes
Glutenfreefamily posted a topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
I havent tried this yet but I ran across it and figured I would post it for those who are nightshade challenged Carrots and/or sweet winter squashes such as sweetmeat or buttercup have the best flavors for the red sauce. (This is a nice way to use pumpkin, but the flavor is milder). There is no need to remove the skin from soft-skinned squashes, but... -

Well, Im sorry to dissapoint you all but it did not turn out good. I had to add a whole cup of extra water and it still came out dry. I wasnt able to use pamela's since my health food store was out, I used a mix that had a bean flour in it. Im still going to work on it since I really, really miss soft pretzels too. ARCHIVED Weight Gain
Glutenfreefamily replied to geeze's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Hello and welcome to the board A few things might be going on. First I should ask if your soaps, toothpastes, shampoos, conditioners, makeup, lotions and dishwashing detergents are gluten free ? If not they can stay on your fingers and on your dishes so it would virtually be like your still eating gluten. Have you changed cutting boards, toasters, plastic... -

Open Original Shared Link Im planning on making this recipe this weekend. What would you use to replace the flour mix? Im not sure if Im going to use Pamela's Ultimate Baking and Pancake mix or Amazing wheat free bread mix. Im assuming Pamela's Ultimate Mix would be better since there is already baking soda added and the bread mix has sugar, honey... -
