  1. It's straight grain alcohol....you'd have to check with the manufacturer of the EverClear...however, please be careful. EverClear is now illegal in many states.
  2. This confuses me...so you thought you were celiac, and acted on a diet that was gluten-free but now that you removed "nightshades" which I never heard of (good to learn new things!) you can eat wheat with no problems?
  3. Oats depend on your reactions as a person, however, I'm not sure if I were going to eat Oats, I'd trust the main stream brands...I do miss me lucky charms though I wish someone made a cereal of just those marshmallows that we could have...probably not the healthiest thing however.
  4. I got that same list from them...I haven't really gotten much of an opportunity to try any of their flavors because I can't find them down here since I've moved, however, I had much of an experience like Mahee34 but that could be just my abnormal stomach. I don't have a dairy problem but some days are better than others. Thanks for posting the list
  5. They have a gluten free "menu" out, the roast beef is on it, as are the milkshakes and you'd have to check with each particular Arby's to see if they have a dedicated fryer, I know that their curly fries aren't gluten-free which is sad because they're delicious but I frequently have their roastbeef on my own bread and have no symptoms or signs that it is...
  6. I crave gluten infested food all the time. I live right next to a Krispy Kreme and in the morning sometimes when the hot light is on it takes everything out of me not to call off work and buy a dozen!! I also miss good subs and the crispy chicken sandwhich from Wendy's. I'd have to say though growing up in South Jersey, I miss the rolls...and Philly soft...
  7. My boyfriend got this last night...sushi that is, and the meat inside looked like it had soy sauce on it. So while you aren't using the packaged soy sauce, maybe they put it on there prior?
  8. I'm also going to make them tonight!! Did you put cool whip on top or just leave the strawberries as the only topping?
  9. I tried Grandma Ferdanan's before...their cinnamon rolls were good but their burritos were disgusting, I had to throw them out after one bite...I was really excited about burritos too! i can't seem to make a good one
  10. I've served jury duty 6 times in 2 different states (mind you I'm only 27) and yes I was as healed as I can be...it's just like a day at work, you can take your lunch and the majority of the people are understanding if you explain early on...a doctor's note is a good validation of what you're saying....the one time we were there for 4 days and they even brought...
  11. I know jury duty is a pain and all...but, I don't really see why unless you're really sick that you would want to "get out of it"...personally, if I can control my disease and am healed...some times if you call in advice they'll allow you to bring food in, a doctor's note might be good for this...but to have a doctor's note to get out of jury duty just because...
  12. These bad boys are amazing...taste like a normal bagel...great with cream cheese and as a pizza bagel...I keep my fridge stocked with a package at all times
  13. I've never had a problem with these, however since he is an anaphylatic it might be better to avoid these types of products just in case. UTZ may be a nation-wide company...but its in a small town...they like to take care of their people
  14. thanks for sharing...i love nut thins...this is a great idea
  15. HAHA, I second this!! You're amazing for what you're doing...going out of your way like you do to make sure he can eat things..I used to be so scared to eat because I was afraid to get sick like I was getting all of the time...I've since lightened up. There's a lot more that we can eat out there than some of us even realize... Hang in there...
  16. JMU is a great school with a great atmosphere...this just helps their cause!!
  17. You can't carryon peanut butter or jelly in a jar or bottle or anything else because its a "cream" or a "gel" , I got mine taken, but you can have it in a form of a sandwhich...You can more than likely pack it in your bag but a Dr.'s note might help. Or contacting the airline directly..
  18. Well in life you should be passionate...if not in general then for one or two things...I don't see how cookies wouldn't be high up on anyone's priority list!!!
  19. double ditto on the kinnitoo's...i can eat a whole dang bag of them in one sitting, which is incredibly unhealthy but oh so delicious with milk...in fact, I'm going to order some right now

    ARCHIVED Uno's

That is absolutely WONDEFUL news!!! Hearing a company that pretty much majored in gluten say that they absolutely know that there is a need for a gluten free pizza is an amazing thing. Thanks for sharing...now I must google search to find a UNO's in my area!!
  21. mm...I'm going to try that! Thank you
  22. Cocoa and Fruity Pebbles are both gluten free!!!
  23. I eat Tiger Bars, in the peanut butter and honey, or the regular...They taste great!!
  24. There are mixed reviews about grilled chicken at McDonald's because of some sort of marinate or filler or something, I can't remember exactly. I haven't heard anything about the Grilled Chicken at Burger King though, the risk of CC would obviously be extremely high. Might be worth checking out though!
  25. Trix became gluten free several months ago, there were a few posts on this site...Cocoa Puffs also hit the market as gluten free during the same time in a "new chocolatey mix" box...Cocoa puffs however are NOT gluten free, that didn't last very long...I had a reaction to Trix and have not tried them again, however, I tried them when they first were named...
