  1. In my dreams I will eat gluten then realize I can't have it and will try to throw up and I get so upset.
  2. Just to mention, those in the list are for Australia.
  3. One holiday I saw mini-Reeses cups with wheat clearly listed on them.
  4. Good for him for noticing!
  5. You should get tested before going on the diet again and it takes a lot longer than two weeks for your body to get sorted out.
  6. I am glad there are subsitutes. While wine is gluten-free, I do no drink/cook/consume alcohol in any form.
  7. I think that nirsing is good for any child and that it will not "prevent" Celiacs. The studies I have read just don't show me enough evidence to make me believe otherwise.
  8. I thought it would be good if someone was on a long vacation or something.
  9. Another board member showed me this site, Open Original Shared Link. However, they "require a minimum of 12 meals per order."
  10. As long as your daughter knows not to cheat and doesn't it should not matter if her Father tells her otherwise. 12 years old is an age where she can do things for herself and make her own decisions. Just focus on her. It is strange that he'd be okay with her harming herself. Would he be okay with her smoking, once every few days?
  11. It takes awhole for the anxiety to go away. Therapy helped me lots.
  12. A little baby boy!
  13. I like fruit for breakfast but sometimes just toast up a Kinnikinnick bagel or Vans waffles. Eggs are always fast and yummie.
  14. I do not know any articles but this disease is genetic. My brother and I both have Celiac Disease and I have met many families where all or most of their children have it, too.
  15. Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link Those links have some NYC gluten-free restaurants. I am a veggie, too, and most of these places have food for us! Risotteria especially but it is down in West Village. I can't think of what is close by Radio City Music Hall but if you locate these on a map you should be able to find something close...
  16. The car accident didn't cause his Celiacs but only alerted you guys to him having this disease. It wouldn't be fair to blame that on the other driver. Your husband could have been showing different symptoms before it. Symptoms are so vast for Celiac Disease that it is hard to tell.
  17. Like everyone else said eggs, vegetables, fruit, meats, and such are naturally gluten-free. If you have a famers market by you you could find those things even cheaper than a regular store. If you like some special gluten-free products you could buy them on sale and then freeze them. A lot of spices are gluten-free.
  18. Gluten isn't good for anyone. You can live a healthy life gluten-free even if you don't have Celiac Disease. You can raise your child gluten-free, casein-free, or even vegan. Once they get older and want to try new things then they can slowly introduce gluten into ther diet and see how it goes.
  19. If he is coming for two or three weeks it shouldn't be a problem if he truly wants to stick to his diet. He could bring a few things with him and then order American or French products to shipped to the host house if there aren't any sold by them. I have never done the programs but know people who have (some did it for a few weeks and others for a year...
  20. That's wonderful! Goats milk is easier for humans to digest.
  21. I don't like Kraft either, but that's just my own personal reasons.
  22. Blood tests can come back with false negatives. You could just have a food allergy, instead.
  23. I tell my one friend about how it could help him feel somewhat better but he just doesn't believe it.
  24. People go back and forth on that a lot and many spelt products are said to be gluten-free.
