  1. I’ve never heard of a pure rice, eggs, salmon or chicken that would contain gluten (no matter what is fed to the animals). Please be careful of the claims you make in a public forum like this, and provide evidence when you make such claims. It would be very easy to test these for gluten and I’ve never heard of any that contain gluten. Likewise products tha...
  2. I doubt it but do let us know how you’re doing! Definitely talk to you doctor if your symptoms persist.
  3. Mission Spinach Gluten-Free Tortillas...so they are like regular flour spinach tortillas.
  4. This is a great idea because they always have hot water on flights. I usually bring my own food on planes.
  5. Of course, if buying it out, we mean gluten-free fried rice, but you can also make it yourself very easily.
  6. Distilled vinegar, no matter the source, is gluten-free. Most distilled vinegar in the USA is made from corn.
  7. If you get that sick when you eat gluten I’m not sure why you’d want to do a gluten challenge.
  8. It may reduce inflammation, but curcumin will not protect you against the side-effects of eating gluten if you have celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. It is not a cure by any stretch.
  9. Is there any way you can share the actual levels in his results? Normally a positive tTG IgG means that gatro follow up should be done to confirm the diagnosis.

  12. Here are some summaries we’ve done on reflux and celiac disease. Their findings are a bit mixed but it’s worth looking at them: /celiac-disease/celiac-disease-amp-related-diseases-and-disorders/dyspepsia-acid-reflux-and-celiac-disease/

  17. This is clearly a government required disclaimer based on using barley as an ingredient and doesn’t indicate that the beer actually contains any gluten. The elephant in the room about the study on gluten removed beers is the fact that around 88% of celiacs in the study did not test positive for any antibodies when they drank regular barley beer.
  18. The study shows that 90% of celiacs don’t react to gluten removed beers, but since the control in the study—the rice flour—was totally blown because a nearly identical number of participants showed a reaction to it, which is gluten-free, it doesn’t even show that. If you were to be generous and not throw out the results of an obviously flawed study entirel...
  19. Distilled spirits, no matter their source, are gluten-free. This, of course, would exclude any additions of gluten made after the distillation process is completed. In the case of gluten-reduced beer, they add special enzymes which break down all particles and renders them harmless. I've not see any scientific evidence that such beers contain any harmful...

  21. Open Original Shared Link here definitely has issues. Clearly when "two active-CD patient samples gave responses to the rice flour extract" that was used as a control, you cannot then claim in the same study that the 3 out of 31 celiacs who reacted to gluten-removed beer is statistically more significant than the two who reacted to the rice flour, can you...
