  4. Well, if you were gonna cheat, at least you made it worth your while by cheating with Chinese food. My ultimate dream meal that I miss ABSOLUTELY THE MOST is my major Chinese Food Szchewan feasts I used to have...... Mmmmmmmm.......... In fact, I am quite jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad you learned your lesson though....... Karen
  5. I just spent an hour searching for this thread that I knew we had awhile back. Please check out my post #6. Now if that doesn't sound like an adrenal thing, I don't know what does! Let me know what you guys think. I was searching for answers way back then, too! Open Original Shared Link Hugs. Karen
  6. Oh my...... The irony of it would be just too much to fathom! What goes around, comes around..... Above all, God does seem to work in mysterious ways, doesn't he?..... Luv ya always, Karen
  7. My thyroid numbers frequently go out of whack and my Eltroxin often needs to be upped or lowered. I go again for my annual physical with my family doctor on October 16th, so we'll see how that goes. I have started taking the ThyroSense and AdrenaSense yesterday, so I am not sure if they will have an effect on my thyroid numbers or not....?? All I know...
  8. Very well said, Spunky...... Hugs. Karen
  9. May you have a Happy Altoids Birthday! Hugs Karen
  10. This link is interesting. It even lists gluten intolerance as a contributing factor of adrenal fatigue: Open Original Shared Link Karen
  11. Excellent website, Georgie! I am really starting to believe that adrenal exhaustion is a big part of my problem with regards to my chronic fatigue and exhaustion. I of course had always assume it was solely due to the malabsorption issues of the celiac diseaes. Also, the Eltroxin (0.15 mg) that I am on is obviously not getting my hypothyroidism in check...
  12. No fear, Mullet Man, you have a special place in all of our hearts! Hugs Karen
  13. Hi Chris! Welcome to the board! It certainly is a definite possibility that celiac is behind your problems. It is well documented that celiac can lie "dormant" in you for years until it gets "triggered" by either an infection (mono, meningitis, rotivirus, etc.) or a very stressful event in your life (pregnancy, loss of someone close, stress of work,...
  14. Well, considering you were diagnosed at age 2 and have not suffered years (if not decades) of intestinal damage due to undiagnosed celiac, of course life must be all peachy-kee for you and all is perfectly black and white in the celiac world for you. Perhaps those of us here who are "beyond repair" should be teaching researchers like you about the "misconceptions...
  15. Richard, You're a trip!
  16. You're right, Mike, you are not a doctor, but from the sounds of it, you are right on track to fit right in with the "blinders on" attitude of so many doctors out there (you know, the ones that have had us banging our heads against the wall all these years in frustration, the same ones who told us it was "all in our head" or it was "IBS - which only stands...
  17. Well, my take on it is that in a perfect celiac world, everything would be black and white. Unfortunately, that perfect world exists only in our dreams. Too many factors contribute to the confusion. Some people react to even a crumb of gluten or even react when they TOUCH a crumb, others are basically asymptomatic. So when someone posts and asks if...
  18. Nikki, I howl every time that commercial comes on TV! My cousins (and I have 102 FIRST cousins!!!) all talk like that. I am quite used to the Newfie accent, but even I can't understand what some of them say! Hugs. Karen
  19. Hey Lynne, If you want a really cool twist added to your accent, I'll drop you in Newfoundland for a week! After spending time with my relatives even at something as short as a wedding reception, I start picking up the "Newfie" accent! Hugs. Karen
  20. Ooooooh, what a tool! I hope that once the Judge is properly filled in on gluten intolerence and the fact that your HUSBAND is the one with Celiac Disease and should know better, I hope the Judge gives him a good tongue lashing for pulling a stunt like this! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr................. Hugs. Karen
  21. ROFLMAO!!!!
  22. I'm not too far - Bowmanville here...... Karen
  23. Well, just so you know, the lecture is not an "inter-active" one. No demonstrations! Oh, and Wintergreen is the way to go! Karen
  24. Chelsea, I know nothing about that drug but is wearing protective gloves an option? Ya know, the kind that you wear when you dye your hair? Hugs Karen
