  1. Fyi...The apple cider vinegar (I used Bragg's) worked great. Our kitty was miserable for 2 days, both days having ACV in her food. The 3rd day she was alot better and the 4th day almost normal. It worked!! I will keep giving her ACV everyday since she is getting older.
  2. I use any brand of unrefined coconut oil, whatever is cheapest, like Spectrum. My dd hates coconut but loves popcorn popped in the oil. I don't think it tastes like coconut but has a faint sweetness to it, which is a good thing. Coconut oil is also good on toast.
  3. My dd uses almond, rice or soy milk. She likes soy the best. I use any of them for cooking/baking. I cook with light olive oil. It works great in Chex Party Mix! I use soy sour cream in homemade tortillas or muffins. I found a really good gluten-free/df waffle recipe if you want it. We pop popcorn in lots of coconut oil so you don't need any butter...delicious...
  4. I found this a while back but still haven't tried it: Open Original Shared Link My dd likes her pizza with refried beans, sauce, olives and jalapenos I like BBQ chicken: BBQ sauce, chicken, sometimes peppers or onions and cheese but you could skip the cheese and it would still be scrumptious!
  5. It makes your heart hurt, what they are doing to innocent people. Like your family
  6. My cat, 15 yrs old, seems to be having a UTI. I read to give her apple cider vinegar in water or canned food. So we tried it in food, no battle. I hope it helps. We tried it with a syringe...WOW...she is part mountain lion! Two of us couldn't get a drop down her. If we had dandelions, the leaves are supposed to help. We still have snow. Any other remedies...
  7. Thanks for your input. My dd has bleeding gums, no fillings and needs her teeth cleaned/whitened. I haven't gotten the oil yet for her to try but soon. Have you tried a neti pot for your sinus infection? Also I heard 2 weeks ago to just use a syringe with warm salt water. I have not tried either but you could google and see what comes up.
  8. I don't have a recipe, just an idea. I use sorghum flour mix in all my cookies, muffins and sweet breads: 1 1/2 cups sorghum 1 1/2 cups potato or corn starch 1 cup tapioca Others on here use more sorghum and less starch than the mix above. Why not try: 1 1/2 cups sorghum 1 1/2 cups more or less of potato starch Make 1/2 a cookie/muffin recipe...
  9. Sorry, my dd helped me find a pic that had purple in it and I love to bake, so this pic worked perfect. Its a Nestle Tollhouse Cookie pic....I can smell them now...sigh...I wish

  13. I am thankful my moms osteopath got her off the high blood pressure meds she didn't need among other things the md couldn't fix! I am thankful for the doc that found a rotting rag inside my neighbor that was left inside him during a previous surgery for cancer, that wasn't caused by smoking according to the doc, even though my neighbor chain smoked for...
  14. You are so right FiddleFaddle!!! Venting time= Imo, its about mind control and money/power. They invent a disease whether or not its real or fake so we get scared, get shots and give them money to get sick so we can give them more money...and wonder why we take so many prescriptions and never get better. Fear causes us to trust them, what liars they are...
  15. yep, I even picked out all the chips (ate them of course ) and froze the crumbs for later use.
  16. I want to try these for my dd! Does anyone know what I can sub for the gelatin...would pectin work?? Thanks ALL!
  17. Here is some info: Open Original Shared Link There are lots of other subs on that site too. I only use Ener g. I read to increase the amount of Ener g for a better rise (not sure about in bread though, never tried it). I use it in muffins, granola bars and sweet breads. I tried flax/chia once but can't remember the results. A banana worked good...
  18. I wish I had more time to comment...maybe later. Gluten or any problem is used to keep us close to Him. Without a problem, we would go astray and that's a scarey place to be. I love my Jesus and want to stay close to Him no matter what comes my way! Off to see my dd and take her some gluten-free food I made yesterday. We have a long talk today about her...
  19. We get a season of box elders every year and a couple of stray ones in the winter. This winter we had mosquitos. They came in on the firewood. Never had those in winter before..prob about a dozen so far...weird.
  20. Every doctor should have a signed copy of that form, hanging on the wall, for all parents and other people to read! Ha...like that would ever happen
  21. I agree with EVERYTHING you said! What a sweet grandma
  22. Yummy! I was thinking of trying Nesquik strawberry powder...hm...should work. When my dd got home last night, she ate 2 cupcakes and loved them!
  23. So glad to hear you had great news!!!
  24. My dd has a great new bf! He is taking CNA classes and asked his instructor about gluten. He told my dd...YOU ARE NEVER HAVING GLUTEN AGAIN! Then said he wanted to be gluten-free for 2 weeks to see what it was like. And said they would cook at home instead of eating out so often. He wants to learn how to cook gluten-free. (He used to be a chef and he is...
  25. Thanks...I was thinking about trying cornstarch once to compare with the tapioca, for texture and taste.
