  2. If you want to make individual mini houses...just frost the goodies to a washed school-lunch sized milk carton...great for kids to do on their own. You can wrap plastic around it and tie it on your tree if its not too heavy or and the stairway rails, etc.

  6. I love muffins! How about these wonderful waffles I post everywhere? I used to hate waffles until I tried these: Open Original Shared Link I use 1 1/2 cups almond milk and finely chopped almonds. I keep a banana in the freezer then thaw it and squeeze out the fruit. I can get 15 waffles in 1 batch, eat some, wrap, bag and freeze the rest...mmm...

  8. I can only tell you about my 17 year old dd, etc. She was born with what we called heat rashes in July. Her older sister is gluten intolerant as of last Feb. My 17 yr old dd is on a mostly gluten-free/all vegan diet for 3 months now. She has not been tested. Their grandma has many symptoms of being allergic to wheat. My dh has some symptoms. I have none....

  11. As missy'smom said...overmixing the eggs. I found this: Open Original Shared Link It's from a gluten site, gluten-free recipes could be different. Some of my recipes have 1/4 tsp. baking soda in them. Just a thought...could be something to do with the acid in the orange juice...I don't know. The muffin ingredients are heavy and may not work so well...
  12. I put a spoonful or 2 in baked goods. Some people use it in meatballs/loaf.
  13. One tip on the oats is to pulse them a few seconds to make them smaller otherwise they are too chewy/hard. I use a blender or my onion chopper.

You can use rice flour blend or sorghum blend or some of each. I like sorghum in baking. mmm...I am sampling them as I type!!!

  17. I bake in a mixed kitchen but my dd who is gluten-free does not live at home (she is not sensitive and is gluten intolerant). It is SO EASY to cc! Everything gets flour, even forgetting to wash hands or switch strainers or dish rags. Handling containers or egg/milk cartons, the phone, etc. CC! As curlyfries said...EVERYTHING! Brownies...the best recipe...

I want to make a THIRD but better not I used a cookie crumb crust, part vanilla wafers and part gingersnap (used recipes from "Cooking Free") I used the whole can of pumpkin though it calls for 1 1/2 cups.

  21. For my dd the loss of blood was tremendous and she hurt so bad she couldn't sleep or think. She had cramping at other times during the month. Going gluten-free and the vitamins cleared it up. No, not normal to lose so much blood. I thought she had all the symptoms of endometriosis. So glad she went to a good doc and didn't have to have surgery. Oh ya, she...
  22. Hi, my dd, 20, had extreme PMS and found out she is gluten intolerant, in Feb. She had so much blood loss she was exhausted. Natural Doc gave her vit b's with magnesium and the pms is normal. I would get her off prescriptions if possible and follow advice in last post. She is 5' 3 1/2". Her nana is 5' and has many symptoms but never tested. DD is mostly gluten...
