  6. I "read" somewhere last week that mercury was "removed" from shots but really wasn't. It was on something about experimental vaccine testing on the military...without them knowing what they were getting. Could be on gulf war syndrome or persian gulf. Sorry I didn't save it now. We can't trust big pharma.
  7. Perfectly stated AliB! May I add one thing only to point out to others. Your grandson SEEMED to get away with it...but those kids that come out ok, who knows about years from now what could happen...I pray your grandson is protected from future complications!!! May God bless him with good health
  8. My opinion...I have never had a flu shot nor will I ever get one. If my dd's were little, I would not let them get them ANY shots.
  9. Not sure about brands. I have only used it twice. I bought some out of the bulk bin at our co-op just to try. I tried it in a cracker recipe. It had a good flavor. I tried it in some cheese sauce that had ground nuts, lemon juice, tomatoes and so on. The recipe was ok but not good enough to make again. I posted this under the recipe section so watch...
  10. I haven't tried this: Open Original Shared Link Sub sweet rice flour for the flour. If allergic to corn, try another starch.
  11. Wow, yes, I missed it, thanks for pointing it out. And easy too!

  13. I made this pie today. It was delish! I covered the cookie crumb crust with a foil liner 1/2 way thru but next time I will try to cover it the whole time. The top of the pie was kinda dark. Next time I might try some chopped nuts on top. I baked it in a toaster oven. I used vanilla soy milk but I read somewhere you can use a nut milk, something with fat in...
  14. I stumbled across this web site. It has alot of good pie recipes for those that have allergies but some ingredients may not be gluten-free so be careful. Just sub. Open Original Shared Link
  15. Take echinacea at the first sign, it boosts your immune system and lessens the symptoms and the duration. Take as directed for at least a couple of weeks. Also boost your vit C. And no dairy (clogs your head up)or sugar(slows the immune system). OTC's prolong your cold. The body has to fight off the synthetic med's instead of the germs. Also I read not to...
  16. Update...Karina just posted today a pumpkin pecan cookie recipe. I bet you could sub the flours, use canned sweet potatoes, leave out the nuts and add dates or raisins.
  17. Thanks for the info. I made hamburger buns with the first recipe. I used the large muffin pan (not the cupcake size). I need to make some again. They are so cute. My dd loved them.
  18. No...my dh got me started on a 1 second thingy that I am trying to quit. Chocolate chips, right out of the bag.
  19. Wondering...is this a revised recipe from the one posted during the summer? It had 1 egg.
  20. I plan to make pie crusts with homemade cookie crumbs from Carol Fenster's "Cooking Free" book. The ginger snap and vanilla wafer ones are great. I used Spectrum shortening instead of soy margarine this time (I premade them already). Then I am going to try the shortening for the crust with the crumbs. I saw a df, egg free pumpkin pie to try. 22. Hi and welcome! I have 2 teenager dd's. Oldest is gluten-free (intolerant) and the younger not tested is mostly gluten-free, df and egg free, by choice. If you need help with recipes, I have a few. Watch for vegan recipes and web sites. This is a great place to learn and share.
  23. I was reading about aspartame and it said aspartame can cause blood to be in the stools...and a huge list of other symptoms
  24. Personally, I love muffins! I freeze them for my dd all the time so she can have a variety. I make egg free waffles to keep in the freezer to pop in the toaster. Scones are easy filled or topped with fruit. My dd also likes breakfast burritos. Plan ahead and cook extra ham or bacon then freeze it. Make eggs (for yourself) and hashbrowns, top with cheese all...
  25. mmm...dark chocolate...mmm...dark chocolate...mmm...dark chocolate...mmm...dark chocolate...mmm...
